Justin Hartley first got his big break in acting when he stepped into the role of Fox Crane on ‘Passions’ in 2002 and stayed on the show until 2006. Hartley’s next big gig was as Oliver Queen on ‘Smallville’ in 2006 – this being his first primetime gig. He remained on the show from 2006 – 2011.
Although he’s made his name outside of daytime tv with some big roles on primetime, Hartley also has a few appearances added to his list of credit. In 2007 he appeared on ‘CSI: NY’ and ‘Cold Case’ in the roles of Elliott Bevins and Mike Delaney respectively. In 2011 he played the role of Wesley Sneijder on ‘Chuck’ and in 2012 he guest starred as Reggie Star on ‘Castle’ and as Jesse Kinsella on ‘Hart of Dixie’.
It didn’t stop there, Hartley then joined the cast of ‘Emily Owens, M.D’ as a main cast member playing the role of Will Collins from 2012 – 2013. After this Hartley made an appearance on an episode of
‘Melissa & Joey’ as Noel Butler in 2013 before moving on to some of the
roles that made him the popular actor he is today.
Hartley was brought on for the recurring role of
Patrick Osbourne on ‘Revenge’ from 2013 – 2014. He then played the recurring
role of Scott Thompson on ‘Mistresses’ from 2014 – 2016. In 2014 Hartley made
his way back to daytime playing the role of Adam Newman on ‘The Young and the
Restless’ from 2014 – 2016. Now, Hartley plays the role of Kevin Pearson on the
new popular NBC primetime series ‘This Is Us’ which was renewed for a second
and third season. Fans can look forward to more of Hartley on ‘This Is Us’ as he remains a main cast member.
