Doug Sheehan has died at the age of 75. Sheenan was an established American actor who was probably best known for his unforgettable run as Ben Gibson in the primetime drama Knots Landing from 1983 – 1987.
Douglas Sheehan was born on April 27, 1949 in Santa Monica, California. His performance as Joe Kelly on General Hospital from 1979 – 1982 also remains etched in the memories of his fans.
In addition to his noteworthy contributions to these series, he captivated audiences with his portrayal of Mel Horowitz on Clueless from 1997 to 1999.
Doug Sheehan’s enduring legacy and impact on television will be cherished by audiences worldwide. Sheehan died on June 29, 2024, at his home in Big Horn, Wyoming with his wife by his side. Services were entrusted with Kane’s Funeral Home, a local Funeral home in Sheridan, Wyoming, as his loved ones will gather to bid him a heartfelt farewell.
