Kim Matula (ex-Hope, The Bold and the Beautiful) isn’t the only soap alum heading to Netflix’s The Hunting Wives for season two. Hot on the heels of the announcement that Matula joined the cast comes the news: General Hospital alum John Stamos has officially boarded the series as well.
He’s not the only fresh face, either. Dale Dickey and Cam Gigandet are also joining season two in recurring roles. Production is already underway in the U.S. Stamos will play Chase Brylan, Dickey steps into the role of Zelda Moffitt, and Gigandet portrays Gentle John Moffitt.
They will join returning cast members Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery, and Branton Box.
Season two’s logline teases: “Sophie and Margo are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: Are they the hunters or the hunted?”
The Hunting Wives
For those who may be new to the series, The Hunting Wives is an American drama based on May Cobb’s novel of the same name.
It premiered on Netflix on July 21, 2025, in the U.S., with international streaming releases elsewhere. In September 2025, the series was officially renewed for a second season.
As for John Stamos, he’s had an impressive and long-running Hollywood career. Soap fans remember him as Blackie Parrish on General Hospital from 1982 to 1984. But of course, he’s best known by millions as Jesse Katsopolis from Full House and Fuller House. His more recent TV credits include Big Shot, Harley Quinn, Doctor Odyssey, and more.
Season two is already shaping up to be even juicier, and with Stamos now in the mix, fans have even more reason to tune in.
