Hawkes played the duplicitous WSB director who arrived in Port Charles pretending to lead the agency’s operation. It was eventually revealed that Cullum was a double agent, who worked alongside Sidwell to carry out Faison’s final project. During his run, he made life miserable for more than a few Port Charles residents.
In Thursday’s episode, Carly arrived on Spoon Island to rescue Joss. At the same time, Cullum was preparing to leave with the finished product after Dr. Obrecht completed it.
Howeber, things quickly spiraled out of control.
With Joss, “Nathan,” WSB agents, security guards, and Cullum all in one place, bullets started flying.
After confronting Cassius and shooting him, Cullum turned his attention to Joss.
Now Joss had already bee shot and lying on the ground. But somehow she managed to crawl toward a nearby gun. She picked it up and shot Cullum in the chest, and ended his reign of terror.
John Oliver Makes His General Hospital Debut
Immediately after Cullum got shot, John Oliver made his much-talked-about General Hospital debut as “Z.”
A jet landed on Spoon Island, and Z stepped out to assess the chaotic scene. As one of the inured guards reached for a gun to shoot him, Z was quick enough to pull his weapon and finish him off. Moments later, he was checking for a pulse on Cassius before walking over to Joss and promising her that everything would be alright.
The appearance marked the beginning of Oliver’s long-awaited cameo on the soap.

“The people over at General Hospital, to a person, have been nothing but beautifully kind and supportive of me. Would I like to have stayed? Yes, of course. But at the same time, I feel like I had an incredibly rounded experience.”
