Cameron Mathison is enjoying some time in Europe. Of course, he is there to film a new Christmas movie alongside Candace Cameron Bure, but the General Hospital star, who plays Drew Cain, took some time to enjoy the beauty of the place, and he couldn’t help sharing about it.
Taking to Instagram with a carousel of highlights, both pictures and videos, he wrote in his caption, “Last few days in Budapest… Grateful for every moment on set and every corner of this city. Taking it all in.“
The GH star is leading yet another movie for the beloved Home Sweet Christmas franchise, Great American Media, which announced not so long ago that a new installment, the third one in fact, titled A Sweet Christmas Anniversary, was to kick off production in Europe.
Mark your calendars for 2026, because that’s when the film is set for an exclusive worldwide theatrical release.
Mathison and Bure just starred in the second chapter, Another Sweet Christmas, which hit theaters for a special three-day event from November 30 to December 2.
Cameron Mathison Helps Deepen Sam and Sophie’s Love Story
A Sweet Christmas Anniversary will see Sophie and Sam reunite while celebrating their first wedding anniversary in the magical Christmas wonderland of Budapest, Hungary (where Mathison shared some highlights from).
The couple is set for a romantic getaway, until a charming hotelier pulls them into a royal-tinged mystery.
Not long after that, Sophie uncovers a hidden connection to a cherished Christmas song, and together, she and Sam must navigate unexpected twists to protect their relationship and reconnect with the true spirit of the season.
