General Hospital fans are about to see more of Cosette Abinante outside of Port Charles. The actress, who recurs as Scout Cain on the ABC soap, has joined the upcoming Paramount+ drama, Frisco King. Abinante will play the role of Lilly in the new series.
Cosette Abinante Joins Frisco King
Frisco King is a planned 2027 spin-off of Tulsa King, created by Taylor Sheridan and starring Samuel L. Jackson. The series follows Russell Lee Washington Jr., a hitman who relocates to Frisco, Texas, where he begins building a new criminal empire.
According to the show’s premise, Washington refuses an assignment to kill Dwight Manfredi, the character played by Sylvester Stallone in Tulsa King. Instead, he leaves Tulsa behind and heads to North Texas to create his own empire. The character first befriends Dwight while the two are in prison, but his life takes a different direction after arriving in Texas.
Production on the eight-episode series is already underway in areas throughout North Texas, including Fort Worth and Southlake. Interestingly, the series was originally titled NOLA King and was first planned to take place in New Orleans before being redeveloped around Frisco, Texas.
The Cast and Release Window
Alongside Samuel L. Jackson, the cast includes Asa Germann from Gen V, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate, Savanna Gann, and now Cosette Abinante.
The series is currently expected to premiere on Paramount+ in early 2027.
For fans unfamiliar with Tulsa King, the original Paramount+ series stars Sylvester Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a longtime New York Mafia caporegime who is released from prison and unexpectedly sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he begins building a new criminal organization.
The series marked Stallone’s first leading role in a scripted television drama and quickly became a hit for Paramount+. The cast also includes Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, A.C. Peterson, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany.
After premiering in 2022, Tulsa King was renewed for a second season, which premiered in September 2024 and wrapped in November of that year. A fourth season has been ordered, as well as this new spin-off.
Meanwhile, viewers can continue watching Cosette Abinante on General Hospital, where she appears in the recurring role of Scout Cain.
