In today’s jaw-dropping episode of General Hospital, fans’ wild theories were proven right about who Gio Palmieri’s parents actually are. Spoiler alert: stop reading if you haven’t watched yet, or you might find yourself totally spoiled!
In the episode, Joss met with Brennan at Bobbie’s, and she declared she was not going to stop tyring to prove that Cyrus was behind the tragic demise of her beloved Dex. As the episode wore on, Joss brought up a very familiar name, Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt—whose murderer had mysteriously not made the cut for the police lineup, but if this episode was any indication, Cyrus Renault may have been the one to off him.
Speaking of Cyrus, his name got tossed around a few times in the episode as Rocco played detective eavesdropping on a convo between Dante and Chase. In the same chat, Dante begged Chase to spill who the police suspects in Sam’s murder—ta-da! It’s Cyrus!
Meanwhile, Danny popped by the Quartermaine Estate, fresh from learning from Alexis that the police concluded his mother was murdered, and he caught up with Rocco for a little chat session where he learned that the police suspects Cyrus.
What Happened Today on General Hospital?
Over at the hospital, Curtis mused about how Portia and Brad seemed to be chummy, not realizing that his wife had teamed up with Brad on a secret mission. Meanwhile, Willow and Nina chitchatted until Drew crashed the party, and Nina wasn’t impressed. She made it crystal clear that if he sought a fight, she was more than ready—ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the ultimate soap showdown!
After catching Willow and Drew kissing, Nina called Carly to discuss their “mutual problem,” which, she thinks it’s time they dealt with it!
And now for the real jaw-dropper: Lois showed up at Martin’s to spill the beans, revealing that her daughter, Brook Lynn, had a baby with Dante—who has no idea—and Brook Lynn decided giving it up for adoption was the best move!
In the grand finale of the General Hospital episode, Lois dropped the bomb that her grandchild was already in Port Charles, cozying up under the same roof as his own mother—yep, you guessed it, it’s none other than Gio Palmieri! But he has no idea that he was actually adopted. Holy moly!
