General Hospital Episode Recap July 5, 2023: Tracy Has A Proposition For Martin
When Martin leaves his hotel room, Felicia sneaks in, dressed as a MetroCourt housekeeper. Martin goes down to the pool and lays on a chaise while Tracy notices him from the table she is sitting at with Diane. She offers Diane a check to represent her in a case regarding intellectual property, also handing her a file. Diane looks it over and notes that it is about the Deceptor. She asks Tracy if she is accusing Deception of stealing the product and Tracy says no, for now.
Tracy promises Diane more information if she decides to take her case. Diane tells her that she will get a third if they win and takes the check with her when she leaves to meet another client. Tracy goes over to Martin and sprinkles liquid from her cup on him. He jumps and looks horrified when he sees her. They talk about his relationship with Lucy and Tracy tells him that she has a proposition for him.
After Mac leaves to help Maxie with James, Dante tries to encourage Cody to come clean with Mac about being his son. Cody thinks that Mac is better off not knowing. Dante wonders if it is actually Cody that is better off with Mac not knowing and questions what Cody is doing with Scott. Cody brushes off his questions and Dante tells him that Scott is bad news and that he should talk to Mac about Scott and what he is planning. Cody is upset that Dante thinks he is stupid enough to be led astray by Scott and tells him that he knows what he is doing.
Mac arrives at Maxie’s just as Felicia does and Maxie thanks them before racing off to go to work. Felicia enlists Mac and Jame’s help going through the trash she took from Martin’s room. She assures Mac that she got it legally from the MetroCourt housekeeper but he is skeptical. They find shredded papers and put them together like a puzzle. Felicia sees that it is a bank statement and she notes the $50,000 monthly deposits coming from a bank in Pine Valley, PA.
Brook Lynn sees Sasha when she gets to Deception and asks if it is true that the charges against Cody were dropped. Lucy comes in and Sasha tells them both that the charges were dropped but reiterates that she and Cody are just friends. She tells them about her plans to get the guardianship lifted and says she is hopeful her new doctor will give her a good report.
After Sasha leaves and Maxie comes in, Lucy tells them that there is a snake in their midst and that confidential information was downloaded from Maxie’s computer. Maxie reminds Lucy that she already has access to it so there was no need for her to download it and Lucy concedes that is a good point. She still wants to get to the bottom of who did it. Brook Lynn watches them both nervously.
Carly tells Sam that she plans to sell the house and move into a condo with Donna. Sam tries to talk her out of it because of how much the house means to her. Carly admits that it is special to her and talks about all of the memories she has there but she feels she has no choice. Diane shows up and Sam leaves. Carly tells Diane her plan to sell the house and Diane tells her to hold off because she has an idea.
Sonny and Nina talk about Willow’s impending release and what it might mean for Nina. Sonny offers to lobby Willow on her behalf. At the hospital Willow explains to Michael why she wants to let Nina into her bubble when she goes home and when he steps out to call Sonny, Nurse Clare comes into Willow’s room and Willow thanks her for the care she provided and the advice she gave.
Sonny and Nina get to the hospital for Nina to see Willow but she hesitates as she remembers what can happen if Willow finds out what she did to Carly and Drew. Nurse Clare gives her a mask and Michael comes out and tells Nina that Willow is ready to see her. Nina goes in and Willow tells her the decision she made but tells her that she has to make peace with Carly if she wants to stay in the bubble of allowed visitors. Nina promises she will and then tells Sonny the news as Michael tells Willow that he supports whatever decision she makes.
