General Hospital’s recurring star Paige Herschell (Jacinda Bracken) is quickly winning over fans with her charm on-screen, but it turns out she’s also stealing hearts off-screen. This time, it’s through music. Her real-life love, Drew Cash, just dropped a new song titled “Just Say I Love You”, and Hershell is featured in the track.
Cash, an actor, self-proclaimed “arranger of words,” and all-around song-maker-upper, is gearing up to release his new album Back to Zero on November 21, 2025. Excited about the collab with Herschell, he opened up on Instagram about the inspiration behind the track:
“I wrote this after the fires in LA this past January—a tragedy made heavier by the looming dread of the incoming regime and what it could mean for vulnerable communities—LGBTQ+ folks, people of color, immigrants, women…”
He went on to share some heartfelt wisdom:
“In a conversation with my brother, he reminded me that in the face of hardship—and especially oppression—it’s vital to have radical joy. To make art, eat good food, play with our friends, read, watch movies, dance. Holding on to joy is its own rebellion, and spreading love in the face of hate is the only way through it. Just say ‘I love you.’”
In another post, Cash shared a note for fans:
“My new album Back to Zero drops everywhere November 21. Pre-save it via the link in my bio or comments. Hope you’ve been enjoying Just Say I Love You and Fake It—I can’t wait to share the rest with you.”
Big congrats to Paige Herschell and her real-life leading man, Drew Cash. These two prove that love really is the best kind of duet.
