The voice-over for the promo says, “Love begins to spread
its wings, but danger looms in the shadows”.
The promo starts off with Drew and Carly at the
Quartermaine BBQ event. Carly tells
Drew, “Show me what you got” to which he replies with, “Prepare to be amazed”. Carly and Drew appear to be flirting at the
BBQ which shouldn’t be much of a surprise considering they have been dancing
around the idea of taking their friendship to the next level. Carly and Drew have been hesitant to see if
they have something deeper than friendship after they both lost Jason, and Carly’s
marriage to Sonny fell apart. However,
their friendship has only gotten stronger. Should they remain friends or see if they are destined for more?
The next part of the promo briefly shows BLQ and Chase at
the BBQ. These two have danced around
their feelings for what feels like a really long time. Will they admit they have deep feelings for
each other or will they continue to talk in circles? Leo’s “love potion” just might be the trick
to push them together assuming nothing goes wrong with the concoction!
The next part of the promo briefly shows Curtis and Portia
by the Metro Court pool clinking glasses.
They have a lot to celebrate; Trina’s freedom and their happily ever
after. Curtis wants to spend the rest of
his life with Portia. Is Portia ready to
do the same or is Trina’s paternity secret too much for her to follow through? Also, Jordan and Curtis never officially
divorced. Can Curtis and Portia overcome
their obstacles?
The next part of the promo shows Elizabeth and Finn
kissing. Their relationship has been
rocky ever since Finn keeps pushing for Elizabeth to get help to deal with her
past. He doesn’t respect her boundaries and
wishes while continuing to go behind her back in an attempt to find
answers. Does this kiss mean they will
patch things up? Or does Finn continue
to dig deeper against Liz’s wishes?
The next part of the promo shows Olivia, Willow, Michael,
and Wiley at the Quartermaine mansion.
Olivia says, “Get out there and have fun you guys!”. Willow recently learned that she has cancer
and was ready to tell Michael. Do they
get interrupted by Olivia before she gets to tell him? If so, will Willow decide to keep her
diagnosis a secret a bit longer?
The last part of the promo is a series of quick shots: the
grill catching fire, a glove being pulled out of frame, and a hook in a
slashing position. Austin has been
keeping a secret from Maxie that involves a shady character named Mason who
insists on attending the Quartermaine BBQ. Does the danger in the clips involve Mason and Austin’s mysterious
connection or is there another danger present? Time will tell!
Fans can’t wait to see what happens next!
