Lucas Tells Ava He’s Moving Out
In today’s episode of General Hospital, Lucas informs Ava that he’s moving out since he found a new place. She hopes Lucy didn’t rush him into finding a spot, but he notes that he didn’t use Lucy at all—Elizabeth helped him. Lucas thought Ava would be happy, but she points out that she doesn’t think the Marina is the right location for him.
Ava notes that she’s genuinely worried about Lucas, given that he’s still grieving a loss. She isn’t sure that living on his own is the best move for him right now, plus she loves having him around. Lucas gets where she’s coming from, but he maintains that it’s time for him to move on.
Ava decides to reserve judgment until she sees the place for herself. Lucas tells her he already has the keys, so they can go check it out right now.
Joe Signs
Lucy shows Joe the apartment, but he stops her to ask about what she said regarding Willow. He wants to know why she lied about her. Lucy insists she was telling the truth and claims Drew must have said what he did on the stand under prosecution questioning simply to help Curtis. She suggests that if he wants the full truth, he should go back and read the transcripts from Willow’s trial, then switches back to the topic of the unit. Joe tells her it’s everything he’s been looking for. “Great, let’s make it happen,” she says.
Joe signs the paperwork, but Lucy notices the system won’t let her submit the file. She assumes it’s just a tech glitch and promises to take care of it as soon as she gets back to the office.
Lucas takes Ava to see the apartment. She loves it and immediately wants to help him pick out stuff for the place. Suddenly, it hits her that he’s actually moving out.
Hudson Meets Phoebe
Joss wants to be alone, but Hudson insists on sticking around while they work on paperwork. Brook Lynn and Chase then arrive with baby Phoebe. Joss reveals that she was finishing up some paperwork for her dad, then introduces them to Hudson while they introduce him to Phoebe. Joss congratulates the couple on finalizing the adoption, which prompts a look from Hudson as if he just connected the dots about who the child really is.
Hudson starts asking questions, using his brain to try and piece together answers. Later, he tells the group, “It’s great meeting you all, especially you, Phoebe.”
Once Brook Lynn and Chase get a moment alone, they start talking about Willow. Chase reassures Brook Lynn that she and Phoebe are his top priorities, adding that he’s sorry he ever gave her a reason to doubt him.
Brook Lynn admits that having Willow back living in the house really throws her off. All she wants is for them to steer clear of the mess surrounding Michael and Willow’s relationship.
Joss grabs Hudson a drink when they head back home. He brings up how cute Phoebe is, sensing there might be a bigger story there, so Joss fills him in. She explains that Phoebe’s mom died during childbirth.
Hudson can’t get Phoebe out of his mind. Sensing his focus, Joss explains how everything came together. She tells him that Brook Lynn and Chase managed to track down Phoebe’s biological father, and he ultimately agreed to a closed adoption.
Anna and Sonny Catch Up
Anna visits Sonny, who asks how she feels about Gio and Emma. She assures him she’s thrilled they found each other, noting that Gio was a huge support to her granddaughter while Anna was sick and out of town. Sonny brings up Sidwell, but Anna thinks he’s Pentonville’s problem now. Still, Sonny picks up on a vibe and asks if she’s really okay.
Anna opens up about her anger, admitting she couldn’t break free from the hallucination that Faison was still alive. She feels fortunate to have fought her way back to reality, which makes Sonny feel terrible for what she went through.
Anna notes that the hardest part was the feeling of being trapped. The hospital in France was nice, but the door was still locked. She admits that while it’s good to be home, things aren’t completely resolved yet. “There’s something else. Something I haven’t told anyone,” Anna reveals to Sonny.
Sonny reminds Anna that whatever she tells him stays strictly between them. She admits her time locked away in France left her feeling claustrophobic, which made her think about buying some land. Knowing Sonny owns a nearby parcel, she asks if he’d be willing to sell a portion to her.
Later, Sonny questions Anna and gently suggests that she see a therapist, hoping she won’t take it the wrong way. He shares that it’s just his honest opinion based on experience, admitting that even he sees a therapist because getting help actually makes you stronger. In the end, he warns her that it’s never good to be left alone with your thoughts.
Quinn Learns About Trina’s Music
Trina opens up to Gio, admitting she can’t stop thinking about what it will be like to visit her dad in prison for two years. Gio reassures her that she’s going to get through it, and the conversation shifts to music.
Emma and Quinn arrive together. Trina asks how they know each other, and Emma explains that they worked together at the animal shelter.
Quinn is surprised to learn that Trina is pursuing music. He thought she was strictly into art. She explains that art is still her main focus, but Gio’s mom convinced her to give music a shot, too.
She always loved to sing, but before this, she would’ve been too scared to try it on her own. Quinn’s order is ready, so he tells Trina he’s happy to see her again and heads out. Trina notes she never would’ve guessed he volunteers. To her, it just goes to show that first impressions aren’t always right.
Jason Has Big News for Britt
Britt finishes up a call with Brad, but quickly hangs up when she spots Jason. She tells him she assumed he’d still be playing for Sonny’s side, but Jason surprises her by announcing that he doesn’t work there anymore.
Jason explains that he decided to stop working for Sonny and agreed to buy out half of his company. For now, he’s just helping out at ELQ. Dawn calls Britt to let her know she’s on her way with the ELQ rep. Britt asks Jason to fill her in on any new developments after the meeting wrapped up.
Later, after the meeting, Jason reiterates that he’s serious about parting ways with Sonny. Still, Britt wonders if he can truly pull himself away from that world, especially if Sonny ends up in trouble down the line.
Jason assures that his son is his top priority right now. Besides, he doesn’t think Sonny will ask him to back on his word. Britt notes that life has a funny way of making people do things they don’t really want to do. “Is that what happened to you?” Jason asks.
Britt reveals that she can’t get everything out of her mind. She also mentions that she got Anna to look into things regarding Cassius, but notes that Anna can’t say anything about it. Ultimately, Britt doubts anything real will actually come of the investigation.
The Final Scenes
In the closing segment, Jason apologizes to Britt for not being there to help her deal with Cullum. She assures him it’s fine since he did what he had to do for Rocco as they share a kiss.
Meanwhile, Trina and Gio show off photos of their siblings while someone keeps a close eye on them from outside.
Elsewhere, Joss thinks it’s time for Hudson to head out. However, he tells her he’s sticking around, especially since she hasn’t chosen a replacement yet.
Later, Anna tells Sonny that she wants the land deal to stay a secret. She thanks him for opening up to her and heads out. But as she gets outside, Peter suddenly appears and tells her that she doesn’t need a therapist—she already has him.
