Ric Walks Out on Liz
On today’s episode of General Hospital, Ric loses his cool after walking in on Liz and Dante. Ric suggests he can leave, but Liz wants him to stay. She asks for his opinion. Ric asks if she just wants him to watch. Liz explains Dante’s injury. Still, Ric thinks Dante belongs in a hospital. He doesn’t think Dante should be lying half-naked in her living room. Liz shuts that down. She lets him know Dante is her guest, and he isn’t going anywhere.
Ric hands over the flowers and decides it’s time to head out. Liz doesn’t want him to leave, and Dante even tries to convince him to stay. Still, Ric insists he has to go. He tells Liz to have a good night and takes off.
Dante starts blaming himself for the mess. He feels he shouldn’t have insisted on coming over to help with the bookcase. Everyone knows Ric is crazy about Liz, so he obviously got the wrong idea seeing Dante there. Dante actually feels bad for the guy. However, Liz insists Ric’s reaction wasn’t just about him. She thinks Ric is just insecure, even though he has no reason to be.
Just then, the doorbell rings. It’s the pizza guy. Dante mentions that he ordered a pie, and Liz smiles, telling him he read her mind.
As she heads to the door, she turns back. “Dante, you should put your pants back on,” she tells him.
Later, Liz tells Dante she wishes Ric had stayed. After all, there is so much pizza left over. She talks about Ric’s insecurities, and she hopes it won’t become a problem for them.
Isaiah Comes up with a Plan
Portia stops by to see Isaiah, and he is thrilled to see her. After all, she hasn’t been around since Des was born. Portia admits she misses being there, and she misses him too, right before she plants a kiss on him.
She opens up about the trial and its outcome. All she wanted was for Curtis to take the plea deal, but he refused. Isaiah agrees the situation feels awful. However, he tries to focus on the positive. He’s extremely grateful for Portia, and he loves the time he spends with the baby. Still, he hates feeling like he’s taking advantage of Curtis’s situation.
Isaiah thinks there is something he can do. “I’m going to drop the civil suit against Curtis,” he announces.
Portia tells Isaiah he doesn’t need to drop the lawsuit. After all, Curtis is a wealthy man and well-insured. Still, Isaiah insists. The last thing he wants is to put her in a position where she’s constantly fighting with her family, so he feels dropping it is the best move. Portia smiles, telling him this is the best gift he could have ever given her.
They start making out, but Isaiah pulls back. He knows she’s still recovering and doesn’t want anything to happen. Right then, Portia clears the air about her latest checkup with Britt. She tells him she’s fully recovered, so they can do whatever they want. They start kissing again, but Isaiah stops a second time. Portia warns him that if he stops again, she’s going home.
Alexis Gives Curtis Advice
After a meeting, Alexis checks in with Curtis. He opens up about the trial, feeling like the outcome was completely unfair. Alexis advises him not to dwell on that mindset.
Alexis admits his situation is unique, but she reminds him that she’s been right where he’s heading. She warns him about the traps he could easily fall into while locked up, emphasizing that she doesn’t want to see him slip. Alexis explains that people always find ways to cope in prison. For her, it was alcohol, and for him, it’s drugs.
Curtis points out that his main focus behind bars will be how much he misses his kids. Alexis advises him to use that pain as a source of strength, and he agrees. He says he wants to be a model prisoner so he can get back home to his family as fast as possible. Alexis reassures him. She reminds him that everyone is in his corner.
Lulu Clashes with Valentin
Meanwhile, over at Carly’s place, she and Valentin are sharing a kiss in the kitchen. Suddenly, Lulu bursts in and asks if they have any idea where Charlotte is.
Lulu apologizes for interrupting their romantic moment. Then, she demands answers about Charlotte’s trip. Valentin already knows his daughter is taking a speedboat out at night with Danny. Lulu asks why he’d allow something so risky. Valentin says he trusts his daughter, and he suggests Lulu try doing the same. Lulu worries about Charlotte drowning. She asks if he even cares, or if he’s just distracted by his date. “Lulu,” Carly interjects, “you need to get a life.”
Lulu warns Carly that she has no right to butt into her business. She decides to text Charlotte herself since Valentin refuses to. Still, Valentin tells her she needs something better to do with her time instead of sitting around tracking their daughter on her phone.
Carly tries offering her opinion, but her cousin cuts her off. She tells Carly she doesn’t want to hear it. On her way out the door, she warns Valentin to make sure their daughter gets home safe.
Seeing Lulu spiraling makes Carly rethink things. She feels she needs to give Joss space to make her own decisions. Valentin reminds her that Charlotte and Joss are in completely different situations.
Joss Exposes Britt
Down at the Quartermaine boathouse, Jason is just about to kiss Britt when Joss interrupts them. “Are you sure you know who you’re kissing?” she asks.
Joss tells Jason how good it is to see him. Getting shot was bad. However, she feels she went through a lot more than he realizes, and she blames Britt for it.
Joss goes off on Britt. She brings up being locked in the Wyndemere basement because of Britt’s brother. Joss reminds her that she knew who he was from the start, and she even told him Joss was in the WSB. Britt claims she was only trying to warn her brother, insisting she had no clue he would hurt Joss. However, Joss refuses to buy it. Meanwhile, Jason stands there in total shock.
Britt Explains Her Actions
“The only reason I’m still breathing is because of Cassius, not you,” Joss tells her. Joss has her opinions. She thinks Britt is going to turn on Jason, just like she turned on her. With that, Joss leaves.
Once she’s gone, Jason turns to Britt. He points out that he heard what Joss had to say, but now he wants to hear her side of the story.
Britt admits she knew about Cassius all along. She protected him because he’s her brother, but she insists she would never knowingly set Joss up to be killed. Surprisingly, Jason believes her. Still, he wonders why she didn’t tell him about Cassius earlier.
Britt explains that she chose not to tell him. At the time, she thought she was going to die, so she figured the secret would die with her. She even defends Cassius, saying he wasn’t cruel despite the bad things he did. Britt honestly didn’t think he was going to hurt anyone. She admits she lied, and if that is an unforgivable mistake, she completely understands.
Jason understands. He hopes there are no more lies. Britt promises there aren’t. She thanks him for believing in her. Jason tells her that he wants this; he wants her.
Anna Meets Tristan
Finally, at the Metro Court pool, Anna accepts a drink from a waitress and asks who sent it. The waitress points to a man nearby. It turns out to be Tristan. Anna walks over to Tristan. She has no idea who he is. He explains that he knows her because she’s a WSB legend. Anna asks if he’s with the Bureau. Tristan says that’s all in his past, and Anna decides that’s something worth drinking to.
Tristan lets her know he’s joined the hospital staff. Anna thinks he’ll fit right in. Still, she can’t help pointing out what a massive shift that must be after his time with the WSB.
Tristan points out that medicine has its challenges, but at least nobody is targeting him. In a hospital, it’s still life and death, but it’s honest work. Anna agrees, telling him he got out of the spy game at just the right time.
Anna opens up about her time at the Bureau. She explains that her loved ones are her top priority now, and she’ll do whatever it takes to keep them safe. Right then, Joss arrives and asks who the guy is.
Anna makes the introductions. She informs Joss that Tristan works at the hospital, but notes they all share a common thread: the WSB. Tristan mentions that he heard about Joss right before he quit. He calls her a rising star in the Bureau, especially after the recent events at Spoon Island.
Ric is Ready to Scheme
Lulu meets with Ric at the Metro Court pool. She wonders if this is about Rocco, asking what could possibly be so urgent. However, Ric informs her that he just came from Liz’s place, where Dante was hanging around with his pants off. He thinks Dante and Liz are heading down that path, unless he and Lulu team up to stop it right now.
Lulu jokes it off. However, Ric warns her that this is serious. He tells her they could both lose the love of their lives.
Lulu thinks the best thing he can do is just trust Liz.
