Valentine Approaches Jason
In today’s episode of General Hospital, Jason meets with Valentin at the Metro Court pool. He wonders why he’s there. Valentin announces he has a proposition he thinks Jason will find interesting.

Carly walks in and takes a seat. She has no idea who called the meeting, but she makes it clear she doesn’t want anyone fighting over her. Valentin explains he wants to discuss returning to ELQ, reminding them he was CEO at one point. He isn’t asking to be CEO again, but he hopes they can find a place for him.

Jason is ready to leave, but Carly stops him and begs him to hear Valentin out. She promises she had no idea about any of this, and Valentin confirms the idea was his alone. “Start talking,” Jason tells him as he sits back down.
Valentin explains that he just wants back in. Jason thinks that to get back in, Valentin needs everyone to trust him enough to sell him shares, and they won’t do that. Carly chimes in and points out that while they don’t trust Valentin, they do trust Jason.

Jason notes that this isn’t his fight. Valentin explains that all he wants is for them to set the grudge aside. He knows he has a lot to prove, but he’s trying to build a life for himself and his daughter.
Laura Makes an Announcement

Anna and Justin meet with Laura, who officially welcomes Anna back as the Police Commissioner. Laura then announces she’s leaving town for a while on a personal leave of absence. Laura explains she needs to go to Ireland to visit Kevin and Ace since it’s been far too long. She explains the Deputy Mayor will take over in her absence. However, she also wanted to tell them they are waiting for someone to arrive to fill in. It’s none other than Ezra Boyle.

They are hesitant and point out all the bad things Ezra has done. Laura understands, but she reminds them that everyone deserves a second chance.
Ezra arrives and promises he will cooperate. Laura warns that if she hears otherwise, she will cut her trip short. He promises she won’t have to do that. He even jokes about all of them being able to do Port Charles a favor: finally bringing down Sonny Corinthos. Laura brings the meeting to a close, and Anna and Justin leave so she can talk to Ezra alone. “Madam Mayor, you have nothing to worry about,” he tells her. Except Laura tells him that she does.
She is furious about his joke and tells him that he has got to take this job seriously. Ezra promises that he will not blow this. He reminds her of all the things she did for him, and he’s not about to take that for granted. He promises to prove that she can trust him just as much as she trusts the Police Commissioner and the ADA.
Joe and Lucas Learn They Signed Leases for the Same Apartment
Meanwhile, Lucas is cleaning up while listening to music when someone tries to open the door. Lucas notices someone at the door and uses the mop to defend himself. It turns out to be Joe, and they end up tussling until they fall on top of each other. Lucas calls him out for trying to break into his apartment. Joe insists this is his apartment and that he signed a lease on the place. “You couldn’t have, Detective, because I did,” Lucas reveals.
Lucas and Joe show each other the lease on their phones. Later, Joe tells the movers there’s a mix-up and they’ll have to figure out what to do. Lucas tells him he can put his stuff in the apartment until they get it sorted out. He then brings them a drink.
Since Lucas signed the lease first, Joe thinks it’s only fair that Lucas stays. Joe offers to leave until he finds another place, but Lucas tells him he can crash there temporarily.
Tracy and Willow Clash Again
At the gatehouse, Willow finishes a call, telling someone she can’t make the meeting today. Afterward, she gets comfortable on the couch. “Get your feet off my furniture,” Tracy warns as she enters. Tracy reveals she’s there to get a few things straight about Willow living there for as long as it lasts.

“We need to get one thing straight for sure,” Willow fires back. She points out that Michael wanted her there. Tracy insists Willow living there gives her a full access pass to what she wants. When Willow asks what that would be, Tracy tells her, “My granddaughter’s husband.”
Willow claims she has no desire for Chase. Tracy warns her to stay away from him so they won’t have a problem. She even notes that if Willow steps out of line, she will throw her out.
Willow uses the opportunity to warn Tracy that she has no idea what she’s capable of. Before heading out, Tracy issues a warning. She tells Willow that she must follow all of Michael’s rules because he holds all the cards. “Not for long,” Willow whispers.
Joss Gets Her New Assignment
Joss meets with Brennan, who announces that the papers have been signed off for her new assignment. She wonders where she’s going. “Nowhere,” he tells her. He then announces she’s staying to run her father’s company.
Joss can’t believe he is forcing her to accept her father’s job offer. He assures her it wasn’t him. Joss thinks this was her mother’s doing, but he insists Carly didn’t have a hand in it. He says the order came straight from his superiors, which means this is bigger than both of them.
Joss refuses to run the company and demands a different assignment. She can’t understand why the bosses want her to run JJE. Brennan doesn’t have exact answers, but he thinks they might want her in a position to keep an eye on her father. Other than that, the WSB could be targeting her father’s company and wanting her at the helm as a way in.
She notes that if this is what she has to do, then she will. Brennan reminds her that no one can know she took the job. As she leaves, he gets a call and learns that Willow missed her meeting. He’s furious.
Brennan shows up and demands answers from Willow for missing the meeting. She explains that she was busy. He reminds her that she’s messing up, telling her that if anyone is giving orders around here, it’s him—not her.
Willow promises she will be at the next appropriations meeting to ensure the WSB gets its funding. He leaves, but before he goes, he warns her against failing to carry out the task. Once he’s gone, Willow plays a recording on her phone with a smirk on her face. She recorded their entire conversation.
Hudson Learns More about Phoebe

Finally, Brook Lynn is spending time with Phoebe at the boathouse when Hudson shows up and reintroduces himself. She wonders why he’s there.
Hudson tells her that he was trying to track down Joss. Brook Lynn invites him to have iced tea while he waits. He doesn’t want to intrude, but she tells him it’s not a problem. She asks what it’s like having Joss as a boss, and he notes it’s okay. He starts talking about Phoebe and her future. Brook Lynn tells him artistry runs in the family, so maybe Phoebe will follow that line just like her birth mom.

Hudson starts asking about Phoebe’s mom. Brook Lynn reveals that she passed away giving birth to Phoebe. Before she passed away, she asked Brook Lynn to look after her child, so she and her husband are keeping that promise.
Tracy arrives and wonders who the new guy is. Brook Lynn introduces Hudson. Tracy apologizes for the intrusion, but explains they need to talk about another tenant. “What did Willow do now?” Brook Lynn asks as she goes inside the boathouse to speak with her granny. Tracy tells her about her little chat with Willow.
Meanwhile, Joss arrives and reveals to Hudson that she has decided to take the job.
Valentin Runs After Anna
Anna goes to the Metro Court pool and joins Jason, Valentin, and Carly. She admits she never expected to see the three of them together. They explain they’re talking about ELQ. Carly mentions Joss and how she doesn’t want to take the job as CEO of JJE. Anna understands, noting that Joss doesn’t want to leave the bureau.
Carly then asks her about the WSB. Suddenly, Anna flashes back to her time being held captive at Wyndemere. She jolts out of the memory and causes a scene while the rest of them look on, completely shocked.
Anna apologizes and insists she should go. Valentin runs out after her to check on her. Jason wonders about this, but Carly notes that it’s fine. She says whatever happened, Anna needs someone right now.
Anna is gasping for air when she gets into the elevator. Valentin runs in after her and asks her to tell him the truth. “What is happening to you?” he asks.
