Michael Seeks Sonny’s Advice
In today’s episode of General Hospital, Michael stops by to see Sonny and greets him with a hug. Donna runs out, thrilled that Michael got her barbecue invitation.
However, she’s disappointed when he mentions Wiley and Amelia couldn’t make it. Sonny asks Donna to find Fizzy so he can talk to Michael alone. Then, he asks his son if Willow is giving him trouble.
Michael points out that Willow isn’t in a position to cause trouble for him right now. He asks Sonny how he handles co-parenting. Sonny admits it works well with Carly, though dealing with Ava can still be a test.
Michael admits he can’t see himself and Willow ever getting on the same page. After all, she targets him at every turn and is the sole reason Jacinda is no longer around. Still, Michael considers that he might be better off staying single for a while after everything that happened. Hearing this, Sonny turns the conversation to Aurora, warning Michael to be extremely careful around Drew.
Donna returns to tell her dad that the timer went off. Sonny steps away to check on things. This leaves Donna alone with her brother. She then spills a secret to Michael. She reveals that she secretly sent an invitation to Justine.
Joss Updates Carly
Across town, Joss tells Carly that she decided to take the position running JJE. Carly doesn’t buy the sudden change of heart. She thought all WSB agents were good liars.
Clearly, she was wrong. Joss tells her mom to just enjoy the win. After all, Carly wanted her to take the job. Still, Carly knows her daughter is too stubborn to just give up her WSB lifestyle. Suddenly, Carly realizes the WSB must be forcing Joss’s hand.
Joss begs her mom to trust her. She asks Carly to accept her decision and stay out of it. Carly agrees. As much as it kills her, she will let Joss handle her own life. Joss then leaves to meet Trina. When Carly asks how Trina is doing, Joss notes her friend has had better days. Carly is just glad Joss can be there for her.
Tristan Opens Up about His Past
Over at the Metro Court Garden, Isaiah and Tristan catch up. They chat about the hospital. They also discuss what brought Isaiah to town. Isaiah explains that he came to Port Charles to help a friend and ended up staying. When Tristan mentions Jenz Sidwell, Isaiah finds it intriguing that he knows so much about the warlord. Tristan then reveals that he used to work for the WSB.
Tristan clarifies that he was never actually an official agent. Isaiah still can’t understand why anyone would willingly choose to work with them. Tristan explains his past, noting that he ultimately walked away and chose to get out while he could.
Trina Worries About Her Dad
Nearby at the Metro Court pool, Gio brings drinks and water to Emma and Trina. He mentions that the earlier recording session went great. Still, he worries that he pushed Trina too hard.
Gio notes that Trina sounded incredible on the recording. Trina points out that hearing people talk about you in the third person is the worst. She also shares details about the song she’s writing for her dad, admitting she hasn’t fully processed the situation yet. Trina simply cannot fathom that her father is really in prison.
Trina can’t stop thinking about her dad. She worries he won’t be around to see Des grow up, just like he missed her own childhood years. Just then, Joss arrives, and the group is thrilled to see her. Emma playfully asks if she’s taking a day off from the spy game, but Joss announces her break will be much longer than that.
Joss explains that her dad wants her to run JJE. To make that happen, she is taking a leave of absence from the WSB.
Once they get a moment alone, Trina asks Joss if she is truly fine with leaving the bureau behind. She promises she doesn’t have to worry about her. “Popcorn,” Joss says, as their keyword that she cannot say more than she already has. Meanwhile, Gio asks Emma what is really bothering her regarding Joss. Emma admits she can’t stop thinking about how Joss can just walk away from the WSB, while they will never let her grandmother go.
Jordan Makes Her Loyalties Clear
Meanwhile, Jordan meets with Drew. He brings up Curtis going to Pentonville. Drew knows what prison is like, so he asks how Jordan is holding up. Jordan appreciates the thought, but she quickly sets a boundary. Her personal life is off-limits. They aren’t on those terms anymore. Drew promises he hopes to earn her trust back down the road.
Drew acknowledges that making amends will take time, but he remains willing to put in the work. Jordan wonders if he’ll actually be able to work alongside Michael.
Jordan promises that if she hears even a whisper about him plotting revenge, he will regret it. Drew quickly reassures her that his energy is focused elsewhere, promising she has nothing to worry about.
Felicia Stonewalls Brennan
At the same time, Felicia meets with Brennan. He explains that he’s trying to protect a mutual friend. He needs her help. When he brings up Anna, Felicia immediately stonewalls him. She tells him to deal with Anna directly. Anything told to her in confidence stays that way. “You’re not going to get anything about Anna from me,” she warns.
Brennan points out that he is only seeking answers for Anna’s safety. However, Felicia maintains that she isn’t obligated to tell him anything. Brennan agrees. At least, she isn’t obligated yet.
After Felicia leaves, Brennan receives an urgent text from Nina. She tells him that she needs to see him right away.
Felicia goes to see Carly. She reveals her meeting with Brennan, explaining that he tried to interrogate her about Anna and likely won’t take no for an answer. Curious, Felicia asks what happened between Carly and Jack. Carly explains that they broke up because he recruited her daughter as a WSB agent.
Nina is Enraged
Elsewhere, Nina visits Willow at her office to plan a trip. Willow wants to go this weekend. However, Nina has a major meeting and hopes Jack will join her. “Mom, no,” Willow warns. “You cannot get involved with that man.” Willow explains that Jack’s generosity has a limit.
Then, she plays an audio recording for her mom. “You recorded him?” Nina asks. She wonders what Willow plans to do with the audio. Willow claims she won’t use it unless she has to.
Nina is enraged. She warns that Willow cannot use the recording because she has no idea what these people are capable of. Nina reminds her that they killed Cassius. She begs Willow to delete the audio file. “Because I can’t lose you,” she pleads.
Willow stands her ground with Nina. She refuses to delete the recording, insisting she’s finally in a position to get what she wants and won’t back down.
Nina confronts Brennan in a fury. She can’t believe he’s been threatening her daughter and warns him that he just made a huge mistake.
He warns against enabling her daughter. After all, he thinks it won’t do her any good.
Nina starts lashing out. “You just give Willow what she wants,” she warns while promising that he will be the one who regrets it if he doesn’t. Just then, Carly arrives and spies on the scene. Nina storms out and makes a major scene.
Kai Turns to Alexis
Finally, Kai pays Alexis a visit looking for legal counsel because Willow is threatening him. “Is what I say privileged?” he asks. Alexis promises it is. She quickly realizes Willow must know that Kai knows she shot Drew. Kai confirms it. He reveals that he confessed everything to Michael. Then, Michael got him and Trina to sign affidavits. Since resigning as Willow’s intern, Kai has been threatened by her. To make matters worse, Kai admits he’s pretty sure Willow tried to kill Drew again.
Kai suspects Willow tried to drown Drew, though he can’t prove it. He thinks Drew is staying quiet because he wants to get revenge on her personally. Kai also admits he is worried because Willow threatened Trina as well.
Alexis explains that Willow can’t be tried again for the shooting. However, framing Kai or Trina would mean perjury, which carries up to seven years in prison. She warns Kai to stay far away from Willow. Kai regrets not coming forward sooner, believing Willow wouldn’t have gotten away with it otherwise. Alexis gently admits that she feels the exact same way.
Willow is on a call in her office when Alexis walks in and hangs up the phone. Alexis announces that she finally has the upper hand. She reveals that she knows Willow shot Drew, and she has known for quite some time. Furthermore, she refuses to stay quiet about it any longer. Willow scoffs, believing there is nothing Alexis can actually do. “Watch me,” Alexis warns the congresswoman.
