Here’s what happened on today’s GH.
Key Takeaways
- Curtis meets his prisonmate.
- Ava drugs Brennan’s drink.
- Sonny meets with Laura.
Nina Warns Ava

On today’s episode of General Hospital, Ava visits Nina, who quickly questions her about her connection with Drew. Nina wants to know what is happening between them. Ava relies on an old cliché, explaining that necessity makes for strange bedfellows. Nina hopes she does not mean that literally. While Ava points out that is not the case, she stresses that she needs an ally against Sonny. Drew is that person.
“I am allying with Drew, because sooner or later, Sonny is going to come for us both,” Ava tells her friend.
However, Nina warns her that Drew cannot be trusted. She urges Ava to drop the alliance immediately.
Sonny and Laura Catch Up
Meanwhile, Sonny meets with Laura at the Metro Court. He explains that he had an unexpected guest at his barbecue because his daughter invited ADA Turner. Laura understands the awkwardness.
Still, she hopes Justine will not face a perceived conflict of interest. Sonny hopes for the same. He points out that he is just a coffee importer now. Although Laura is shocked, she hopes he can make this transition safely. During their conversation, they spot Ava with Drew. Neither thinks any good can come from it. After all, neither Drew nor Ava can be trusted.
Laura then reveals that she is going to be taking a leave of absence. She wants him to be on his best behavior while she is out of town. Sonny promises he will.
Curtis Meets His New Cellmate
Elsewhere, Curtis meets with the warden to see if he can survive among the general prison population. The warden explains how easily his parole time could be canceled. Curtis notes that he refuses to be a sitting duck. In response, the warden explains that Curtis’s cellmate will be another high-profile inmate. Therefore, they expect him to stay on the straight and narrow.
Later, Curtis is taken to his cell. He looks at a picture of baby Des just as someone is taken to the cell across from him. “You!?” Curtis says in shock.
Serena Propositions Michael

Over at the Metro Court Pool, Michael meets with Serena. He points out that when she asked to meet, she forgot to mention the poolside dress code. She tells him to get comfortable and take off his shirt. Serena then shares her new ideas for Deception.

When Michael asks if she ran these concepts by the leadership team first, Serena admits she came straight to him. She starts flirting and teasing him about being overdressed. She pushes him to show how laid-back he can be, so Michael obliges and takes off his shirt.
Just then, Nina walks over and calls him out.
“Have you no shame?” she asks. She then accuses him of putting on a public striptease with yet another stripper.
Serena quickly sets the record straight, emphasizing that she is no sex worker. Instead, she is the VP of product development at Deception. On top of that, she happens to be Scott and Lucy’s daughter.
“Really nice to meet you, Nina,” she says.
Jack Warns Carly about Valentin

In her office, Carly updates Valentin. Together, they strategize about why Joss would suddenly take a job running JJE. Brennan knocks and enters the room.
“Well, looks like I got here just in time,” he says.
Carly calls him out for making a habit of barging in where he is not wanted. When he mentions Joss’s new position, Carly reveals she already figured out that the WSB is involved. Brennan explains that the decision is far above his pay grade.
He warns Carly not to interfere with Joss’s work anyway. The conversation heats up as they argue about Carly sleeping with Valentin. Brennan acknowledges that Carly is an incredible woman. However, he warns Valentin that she will always be a runner-up to Anna, whom Valentin will inevitably return to.
After Jack leaves, Valentin assures her that there is nothing to worry about. Carly completely understands. She thinks Anna is to him what Jason is to her, and she has no problem with him helping Anna if need be.
Drew Gets What He Wants

At the Metro Court Gardens, Drew sits down with Martin, who questions what he is planning. Drew explains that Jack Brennan has evidence on him regarding his congressional campaign. Martin warns Drew that he needs to make that evidence disappear.
Otherwise, his miraculous recovery will end behind bars. Martin worries about how Drew plans to outsmart Brennan. However, Drew points out that he is working with someone very capable.
Nearby, Jordan and Anna catch up. Anna asks how Jordan is holding up with Curtis in prison. She admits she cannot understand why Curtis refused the plea deal or how things got so out of control. Jordan explains that after the accident, the other driver left them for dead. That is why Curtis simply could not let it go.
Willow Opens Up to Chase

Meanwhile, Willow frantically searches for something until Chase arrives just in time to see her breakdown. She tries to brush it off, explaining she was just looking for something for the kids. She tells him he caught her at a bad moment and it is not a big deal. However, Chase knows it is a big deal and offers to clean up.

Afterward, Chase questions Willow about what is really going on. She opens up, admitting she thought she could move on once the trial ended. Unfortunately, the allegations keep following her no matter how hard she tries.
“Who is making you feel that way?” Chase asks.
Willow reveals that it is not just one specific person. Willow admits that being back there reminds her of everything from her past. Still, she knows she has to do whatever it takes for the kids. Chase reassures her. He promises that she is doing the right thing for both herself and the children.
Drew Gives Ava the Pills

Finally, Drew and Ava meet inside the Metro Court. He updates her that he has the flash drive. As soon as he breaks into Brennan’s room, he can steal the intel on him. He asks Ava to keep up her end of the bargain. She promises she will, but she tells him he needs to move fast. Drew plans to, but just in case, he hands Ava pills to drug Brennan’s drink and slow him down.

Ava is appalled that he wants her to drug a WSB agent. She worries he is setting her up. She mentions that Nina tried to talk some sense into her, but Drew tells her not to focus on Nina. Instead, she needs to worry about Sonny taking Avery away from her. After enough convincing, Ava takes the pills. She promises she will only use them if she absolutely has to.
On his way out, Drew gets cornered by Laura and Sonny. The mayor tells him that she is hoping for some peace between them.
Meanwhile, Jack meets with Ava. She tells him that she wanted to talk about Jenz Sidwell. Brennan gets a call that he has to step away to answer. While he is away, the waiter brings his drink. Ava takes the opportunity and quickly slips the pills into his glass.
