Michael Learns Joss is WSB

In today’s episode of General Hospital, Carly hugs Michael. She is thrilled to see him and grateful he cleared his schedule. Joss is there, too. Michael wonders why he didn’t know she would be present. Speaking of surprises, Carly tells him that Joss has some big news. Joss reveals she joined the WSB. “That’s amazing. Congratulations,” Michael says.

He thinks she has a desk job, but Carly explains that Joss is an undercover agent. Joss explains why she had to keep quiet. Carly wonders how Michael can be okay with this. She was hoping he would be the voice of reason to talk Joss out of the job. “I’m sorry, Mom. I’m not going to do that,” Michael points out.

Michael asks about Joss’s job, and Joss admits she loves it. Carly expresses her disappointment. She understands they have a bond, but she refuses to accept Joss’ job. Michael acknowledges that despite the danger, Joss is still alive. Carly wastes no time pointing out that a near-miss just happened. Right then and there, Joss reveals she was shot and almost died. Michael blames himself for missing the signs because he was caught up in his own problems.

While Michael blames himself, Carly and Joss tell him to stop and focus on his kids instead. Meanwhile, Joss is surprised to learn that Drew is back on his feet.

Michael points out that he could lose custody because Willow is a congresswoman. Given her political position, she may be in a stronger standing to win than he is.

Willow Has Her Plan In Place

At the Metro Court Gardens, Willow, Nina, and Obrecht toast to Willow being free from Drew. Obrecht notes that the celebration is premature since the divorce isn’t finalized yet. She finds it strange that Drew wants a divorce right after making a miraculous recovery. She suspects there’s more to the story.

Later, Willow discusses her living situation. She needs a new home, especially if Wiley and Amelia live with her full-time. Nina asks how she convinced Michael to agree to that arrangement. Willow reveals that Michael has not agreed yet, but she claims he will not have a say in the matter for much longer.

Willow hopes the police will find Michael responsible for Drew’s shooting. She plans to argue that it is in the PCPD’s best interest to reopen the investigation.

Nina advises Willow not to provoke Michael. Willow argues that Michael showed up making accusations as soon as he heard about Drew. She believes Michael is waiting for the right moment to strike, so she must act first. Nina suggests Anna could reopen the investigation and potentially find a suspect that isn’t Michael. Drawing from her own experience with Anna, Obrecht warns Willow not to poke the bear.

Obrecht may not be able to stop her from protecting her children, but she still wants Nina left out of it.

Ava Gives Trina a Graduation Present

Ava and Trina meet up. She gives Trina a gift and outlines a plan to eventually make her a partner. Although it’s an incredible offer, Trina says she can’t accept it. Trina notes that if this opportunity had come months ago, she would have jumped at it. However, she has a new dream now.

Ava is surprised to learn that Trina secured a music contract. Still, she is excited for the world to see Trina shine. Ava asks if Trina plans to quit her day job. Trina explains that she cannot keep her current hours, but she wants to stay on part-time. Ava agrees to the plan.

Ava tells Trina she is open to discussing a business partnership anytime. Trina then brings up Ava and Ethan. Ava quickly shuts it down, stating that there is no “Ava and Ethan.”

Ava notes that Ethan vanished without a trace. She suspects he was scamming her, though she cannot figure out his angle. She checked her bank accounts and credit cards, but found nothing suspicious. Trina suggests Ethan might have been telling the truth. Ava feels she dodged a bullet either way. Trina steps away to take a call from Simon, while Ava checks her phone to see if Ethan replied.

Meanwhile, Nina calls someone for advice and reveals what Willow is planning. Bad reception forces her to step away to hear better, but Trina steps out of the shadows, having overheard the entire phone call.

Drew Offers to Take Curtis’ Side

Martin tells Curtis about someone who can help with the case. Right on cue, Drew walks in. Curtis heard about his recovery, but he doesn’t think Drew would lift a finger to help him. Drew points out that things are different this time around. He is truly sorry for everything he has done.

Curtis is not hearing any of it, but Martin convinces him to listen. Curtis reluctantly agrees. Drew claims he spent time reflecting on his past actions. He admits he regrets hurting people, placing Curtis at the top of that list. Drew wants to make amends. When Curtis asks how, Drew explains that the prosecutor wants him to testify at trial. Drew adds that while the state wants his help, he would rather use his testimony to help Curtis.

Martin points out that Drew could be a valuable asset because of his statement about the accident that night. He was one of the people who claimed Willow was on Route 91. Drew promises to testify that Willow was at home. He clarifies that he is doing this because he owes Curtis, not for Willow’s sake. He hopes this will be a good first step toward making amends.

Curtis remains hesitant. Martin points out that Drew will testify regardless, so they should use it to their advantage. Curtis suspects Drew wants something in return and demands to know his true motive.

Drew, on the other hand, claims he wants nothing in return and is simply helping out of goodness.

Brook Lynn and Chase Are Officially Phoebe’s Parents

Josh Swickard as Harrison Chase and Amanda Setton as Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase on GH.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn is on edge as she waits. The doorbell rings, and Gio answers it. In walks Alexis, apologizing for being late. She announces that as soon as they sign the papers, Phoebe is officially Chase and Brook Lynn’s.

The family celebrates as Olivia takes the baby and leaves with Ned and Gio, giving the new parents privacy to talk with their lawyer. Alexis explains that the adoption must remain closed. Brook Lynn worries if Phoebe will resent them when she grows up, especially when she asks about her birth dad, and they can’t tell her.

Ned, Olivia, Gio, and baby Phoebe rejoin the family in the living room. It becomes official. Brook Lynn announces, “Chase and I are the proud parents of Phoebe Jacqueline Chase.”

Chase and Brook Lynn receive an envelope containing a letter for Phoebe to read when she grows up. It comes directly from her father and focuses entirely on Delilah.

Out of town, Ethan is ordering room service on the phone when someone knocks on the door. “Never mind,” he says into the receiver. He opens the door to find the mysterious Hudson. Ethan tries to fight him off, but Hudson forces his way inside. “Where is she?” Hudson asks.

Ethan tells him to leave, but Hudson notes he had to follow him all the way from Port Charles. Ethan punches him in the gut. Hudson counters by choking him and demanding that Ethan cooperate.

Hudson gives Ethan a towel to tend to his wounds. Ethan apologizes for punching him. When Hudson asks about Delilah, Ethan reveals that she died. Hudson is hesitant to believe it. However, Ethan insists he is telling the truth and adds that the baby is gone too.
