Sonny promises that Ethan isn’t running from her, though Ava has her doubts. She changes the subject and points out that Drew is up and walking again. She notes that Drew’s recovery will cause problems for Michael, then directly asks if Sonny had Ethan try to kill Drew.
Sonny reminds her that he is not one to be played with. He reminds her that there are always consequences when it comes to him. “Don’t forget that,” he warns.
Brook Lynn is Not Going to New York

At the Quartermaine estate, Brook Lynn updates Tracy about how things went with adopting Phoebe. She wonders why her granny was not there to witness the moment. Tracy explains that she was busy planning their trip.
“We are going to New York City for three nights,” Tracy reveals. Brook Lynn is hesitant to leave her newly adopted daughter. Tracy suggests they take the child along. Brook Lynn still resists. She insists she is not going. Tracy demands that she get out of town, but Brook Lynn holds her ground and says she is not going anywhere.
Tracy worries about Brook Lynn’s guilty conscience ruining her life since the trial is happening now. Brook Lynn worries about what will happen if the truth comes out. Since the adoption is finalized, she isn’t worried about losing Phoebe. Instead, she’s nervous about Gio finding out—and mostly terrified of Chase learning the truth.
Brook Lynn reveals she had a chance to come clean with Chase, but she just couldn’t do it. She fears things could get worse, especially since they’re in a place of complete honesty right now. If Chase finds out she’s lying, she worries he’ll never trust her again.
Plan in Motion: Lucy Recruits Serena to Seduce Michael

At Bobbie’s, after finishing a call, Lucy opens up to Serena about having butterflies. She wants Serena to pick out her most seductive outfit since her source just told her that Michael is spending the entire afternoon at the Metro Court pool.
Brook Lynn makes the decision that too much is at stake. She has to protect her family, and to do that, Chase can never know what happened.
Serena wonders what she just did. Lucy suggests she make Michael’s acquaintance and charm him. She is convinced it will work out since they have a lot in common. Besides that, there is the fact that both of them are drop-dead gorgeous.
Serena has no problem doing her mom’s bidding. She leaves to go get into her most seductive bikini. As she leaves, Lucy makes a call and summons someone.
Felicia shows up, and Lucy asks for her opinion. She wonders if she is a bad mother. Felicia wonders why. Lucy explains that she asked Serena back to town to help her get Maxie’s shares from Michael by seducing him. Felicia is stunned. She thinks Lucy is being way too hard on herself.
Lucy admits that besides wanting her daughter to seduce Michael for the shares, she actually thinks he might be the perfect match for her.
She notes Michael has a terrible history with women. Lucy thinks maybe Serena can change that for him. Serena needs a stand-up guy, and that man could be Michael Corinthos. She also thinks Serena could make a perfect Quartermaine. “She could even wear my red dress,” Lucy says.
Willow Has a Warning for Jacinda
Michael comes out of the water at the Metro Court pool. He and Jacinda hug just as Wiley enters with Willow. “Hi, Dad,” the young boy says.
Wiley wants his dad to take a swim with him. Michael hesitates for a minute and wonders if Jacinda will be okay without him. She says she will be just fine. As they step away, Willow points out to Jacinda that her situation has changed. Jacinda thinks this is something Willow should discuss with Michael. However, Willow makes it clear that she is bringing it up to her because she does not want her anywhere near her children.
Jacinda notes that Wiley would be devastated if his mother ended up in the pool. Wiley comes along and asks Jacinda to join them, but she turns him down and suggests they can next time. “I choose peace. You should try it sometime,” she says before Willow walks off. In walks Brennan, who tells Willow that it is a nice day for a swim.
Willow thinks he is way too overdressed for the pool. She tells him that if he wants to talk, he should make an appointment with her office. He reminds her that he is on her side and even notes that he thinks it is time they took things to the next level.
All Eyes on Brillow
Both Michael and Jacinda spot them and wonder what’s going on. He feels that now that his mom and Brennan are broken up, he has no reason to do him any favors. Jacinda gets an alert on her phone and has to leave for work.
Brennan reveals that Nina called him and said Willow wants the PCPD to reopen the Drew shooting case. He thinks it’s a bad idea, but Willow couldn’t care less. All she cares about is getting more time with her kids, and she’s totally willing to take the risk. Meanwhile, Serena arrives and sets her sights on Michael.
Later, Wiley says his goodbyes. Just then, Willow tells him to have a chat with Jacinda about what they talked about. She is curious about what Jacinda will tell him. As she leaves, Michael jumps into the pool. Serena walks over, but before she can reach him, she slips and lands right in Brennan’s lap.
Courthouse Drama & Portia Takes the Stand

At the courthouse, Martin spends a moment talking with Molly. He points out that Curtis Ashford is a good man and surmises that she knows it. He proposes they drop the case right now, but Molly is hesitant.
Martin reminds her how important family is and says she should know that. One way or another, everyone involved in this is connected, and going through with it will tear them apart. Outside, Isaiah and Portia walk in. She reminds him that he did not cause this—Curtis did. Right on cue, Jordan and Curtis walk in hand in hand, and everyone exchanges looks.

Isaiah wastes no time suggesting that Curtis take the plea deal. However, Curtis insists he will not. Things are about to get heated. Just then, Lucas enters and advises them to calm down and take a step back.
Isaiah agrees. He and Portia head inside. Curtis tells Jordan that he should not have allowed that guy to get under his skin like that. As he and Jordan head inside, Joe asks Lucas if he will be able to be impartial on the stand. Lucas promises that he will. He hates this whole situation, though.
Inside, Portia and Jordan get a moment to catch up. Jordan advises Portia that the outcome is in her hands. All she has to say is that this was a domestic situation that got out of hand and both parties are to blame.
Portia Takes the Stand
Portia notes that Curtis’s actions are what put him in this position. She promises to do what is right and tell the truth. “All rise, court is now in session,” the officer says as the judge takes her seat.
Molly presents her opening statement. Right after, Martin presents his. Lucas takes the stand first, and Molly questions him. Martin notes they have no questions at this time. Joe takes the stand next. Molly questions him as well, and Martin cross-examines him. Later on, Portia is called to the stand.
As Portia is questioned by Molly, she highlights the events that led Curtis and Isaiah into a physical battle. Martin cross-examines her. Things take a turn when he asks her how long she was married to Curtis before she started sleeping with the alleged victim.
