Hudson Meets Joss Again
In today’s episode of General Hospital, Joss runs into Hudson, who hopes she will give him what he needs. He asks if she took the list of potential candidates to run JJE.
Although she has been looking at it, she is in no rush. However, he reminds her that the matter is time-sensitive. She does not want to have this conversation in the pool, but when he offers to get a table, Joss declines. She tells him that it is not necessary because she plans to swim for a while.
Later, Hudson tells her she should accept the job. Joss notes that her dad just wants her in charge to keep her out of the WSB.
Meanwhile, Rocco finishes a call with Lulu. Britt walks in and notes she thought he needed space. He tells her that it is nice of her, but she is not the one he needed space from. When he asks about her Huntington’s, she surprises him with a major update. It turns out she never had the disease.
Anna Counsels Emma
Across the Metro Court pool, Anna and Emma talk about a trip Emma was planning. Emma reveals the trip is off because Gio’s schedule is packed. She does not know how much time she will get with him over the next few months, or if they will get any time at all. She worries that she and Gio are drifting apart.
Anna mentions that she is proud of her granddaughter for taking the steps to become a veterinarian. She is also proud of Gio, noting that both of them are taking paths to get what they want. Anna even suggests that Emma could go on tour with Gio. Emma is happy her grandma is back because she missed talking to her like that, and she leaves to get more drinks.
Then, Peter appears. He tells Anna that she and Emma have a beautiful connection. “Make sure Britt doesn’t break it,” he warns. Anna walks over and asks for a word with Britt.
Anna tells Britt she will do what she asks. However, she warns that if she finds anything, they will have to meet one-on-one because they cannot communicate through regular channels. As Britt leaves excited, Peter appears. He claps for Anna, telling her it is the perfect opportunity to kill Britt.
Stella and Marshall Worry About the Family
At home, Marshall tells Stella he hopes everything goes well after the trial. However, Stella notes that if Curtis is acquitted, it will end one big mess only to start a whole new one. She worries this situation will lead to a custody battle. Marshall fears that one way or another, everybody loses.
Curtis Gets a Guilty Verdict
At the courthouse, Martin gets a moment to talk with Molly. Meanwhile, Curtis arrives with Jordan on his arm. She wonders if he is doing okay. He notes he might be going to prison for a few years, but for now, he is cool as a cucumber.
Trina rushes in with Kai, stating she had to be there to support him. “Besides, when my dad needs me, nothing will keep me away,” she tells him as they hug.
Jordan and Kai head into the courtroom, leaving Trina to chat with her dad. He admits part of him wishes she had not come, just in case the worst happens. However, he is happy his amazing daughter is there with him. They hug again right as Portia walks in with Isaiah and spots them.
Curtis leaves, giving Portia a moment to talk to her daughter. Soon, everyone heads inside, and the judge is ready to start. The jury announces that Curtis has been found guilty of assault and battery. The judge sentences him to ten years in Pentonville with the possibility of parole after two years.
Later, Curtis thanks Martin for getting him 48 hours before he has to report to prison. Martin thinks they can appeal, though he is not sure if it will pay off. Curtis wants them to do whatever they can when the time is right. As Jordan and Curtis share a hug, an emotional Trina runs into her father’s arms.
Back at home, Portia arrives, and Stella asks, “What happened?” Portia simply shakes her head and runs straight into Stella’s arms.
Trina and Kai go to Bobbie’s, but as he leaves, someone watches her from the outside.
Meanwhile, Jordan runs into Isaiah and accuses him of being happy about winning in court.
At home, Curtis spends a quiet moment making promises to little Des.
Michael Confronts Willow
Over at the Quartermaine estate, Willow arrives and asks for the kids. Michael points out that there is a specific reason he wanted her to come by. She warns him that breaking the custody agreement like this is a big mistake. She tells him she is going upstairs to get the kids and that he cannot stop her. Otherwise, she threatens to go to the PCPD with her recent blood test results.
Michael is not worried. He does not think her accusation will mean anything to anyone, especially now that he finally has proof that she shot Drew. She thinks he is bluffing. However, he presents her with two affidavits from witnesses who can testify that she shot Drew Cain in the back.
Deal or No Deal?
When she demands to know who the witnesses are, Michael reveals that they are Trina and Kai. He explains that Kai and Trina were hiding in the bedroom when she shot Drew. They heard the ringtone playing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star—the exact ringtone she uses for Wiley.
She argues that a lot of people have that ringtone. Besides, since she was already tried, she cannot be tried again. He knows double jeopardy applies, but he reminds her that it holds no bearing in family court. He warns her that she will never see the children again unless she cooperates.
“Unless what?” she asks.
He demands that she do as he says, or he will turn her in, causing her to lose access to the kids for the rest of her life. Driven to desperation, she grabs a rolling pin to strike him, but he stops her.
Michael later suggests they can still have the same custody agreement, but Willow wants to know what he really wants from her.
He wants her to move back into the gatehouse. Willow is not up for it. But Michael tells her that he needs an answer now, or else the offer is off the table. “I will call the movers now,” Willow says.
