General Hospital Episode Recap and Spoilers for Today, Wednesday, December 13, 2023:
What happened today on General Hospital: Sonny makes a generous donation; Josslyn and Trina make a discovery about Adam; Ava tells Nina the truth; and Alexis is given pause.
GH Recap Today
Alexis arrives at her home and finds that Molly and Kristina have come to visit her, unexpectedly. Alexis asks them about the reason for their visit. Molly tells her that they have some good news to share. She discloses that Kristina has decided to become a surrogate for them. Alexis is happy for them and believes that Molly and TJ will make great parents. She tells Kristina that she is offering a generous gift and can see the potential risks involved.
However, Kristina assures her that she is ready for it. Alexis admits that she enjoys being a grandmother, despite not liking the term. She also expresses her happiness about the bond that Molly and Kristina share, but she is concerned that it might get complicated. She tells them that they don’t need her approval, but they have it. Later, Molly receives a call from the office and has to leave. Kristina offers to organize the upstairs closet, but Alexis tells her that it can wait. She asks Kristina if she has considered everything carefully, to which Kristina responds positively. However, Alexis doesn’t agree with her and promises that after giving birth, it will change her perspective. Kristina wishes her mother had more faith in her.

Ava moves back into her apartment. While there, she discovers a photo of a deceased Austin, along with a note instructing her not to reveal this information to anyone. Shortly after, Nina visits and notices that she is quite nervous. When questioned about what has been bothering her, Ava initially blames it on the stress of moving. However, she later reveals the photo and note to Nina.
Nina speculates that the killer may have been in the penthouse. She advises Ava to report it to the police. Ava says she cannot because she had ample motive to kill Austin, and she doesn’t have an alibi. Ava expresses her doubts about Cyrus being responsible for toying with her. She believes it could be someone who has ill-will towards her and enjoys seeing her suffer, someone wealthy like Nikolas. Ava points out that Nikolas made a miraculous recovery and that Austin had been lying to her all along. She suggests that perhaps Nikolas killed Austin for revenge, and what better way to get it than to frame her for murder. She thinks he is the only person who has a great motive to agitate her and promises to beat him at his own game. Later, when Nina is gone, Ava finds a gun and a note.
Trina and Joss stumble upon Adam playing guitar and singing in the hallway. He notes he was unaware of their presence and was just goofing around. Impressed by his talent, they invite him in to play another song. Though hesitant at first, Adam eventually indulges them and plays more music. Trina can tell that he has a real gift. Afterward, Adam wants to excuse himself to study, but Trina insists that he stay and eat with them.
As they get to Kelly’s, Trina asks Adam about where he learned to play the guitar so proficiently. Adam reveals that his father had wanted him to learn the piano instead, as he considered the guitar to be lowbrow. However, Adam couldn’t let go of his passion for the guitar. Trina cannot understand why Adam’s parents don’t realize the depth of his talent. She suggests that he pursue music professionally.

Sonny bumps into Felicia and Stella while at the hospital. He confesses that he came to see Stella. He expresses his intention to make a contribution to the hospital by funding all the holiday celebrations. Sonny offers to cover all the expenses related to the upcoming holidays. Felicia playfully refers to him as Santa, but a young girl named Lindsey corrects her and says that Sonny is not Santa. Felicia clarifies that her comment was only intended to acknowledge Sonny’s generosity.
When Stella asks what motivated Sonny’s kindness, he reveals that it was because of a mutual friend – his father. Sonny expresses how much he misses him, especially during the Christmas season.
Dante arrives home and Sam asks him if he found anything in the locker. Sam inquires about Dante’s investigation and whether he has discovered who is after Anna. Dante informs Sam that he went to the bank after retrieving the package. He reveals that the WSB file was in the package. Dante saw Forsyth’s name right away, and Anna’s name was also mentioned in the report. Sam asks Dante why he didn’t take pictures of the report on his phone.
Dante explains that he didn’t want it to be stored on the cloud. They both wonder about what Anna remembers. Sam asks if Dante trusts Anna, and he confirms that he does. However, he doesn’t feel like he has a firm grasp of the situation and isn’t ready to inform Anna yet. He plans to go back to the bank and read through the report thoroughly. Dante found pictures of Anna, Forsyth, and another unidentified person, and he shows Sam the wallet he found. Sam examines it and finds a lot of numbers. They wonder how these numbers link back to the WSB report.
Donna and Carly are having a conversation about soccer. Donna kicks the ball, and Brennan retrieves it. Carly introduces Donna to Mr. Brennan. Brennan asks Donna about her position in soccer, while Carly inquires about his running and suggests a place for him to run. Donna has a desire for some hot chocolate, and Brennan decides to join her.
Brennan believes that Donna looks a lot like Carly, but Carly points out that many people think Donna resembles her father. Brennan compliments Donna, and Carly reveals that some people have thought that Carly was bratty. Carly then shares that she is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
