General Hospital Episode Recap and Spoilers for December 28, 2023:
What happened today on General Hospital: Lucy and Scott execute a plan. Sonny and Alexis have some misgivings. Felicia does her own investigation. Liz and Finn work on his defense. Olivia makes a slip of the tongue.

Olivia and Lois are in the Quartermaine kitchen and Lois can tell Olivia is avoiding her. Olivia tries to deny it but Lois presses her until Olivia finally asks if she betrayed Lois by marrying Ned. Lois is shocked by the question and assures her friend that she is fine with Olivia being married to Ned and happy that they are so happy together. They talk about the Quartermaine family and Lois comments about Ned turning in his cousin.
Olivia quickly jumps to her husband’s defense and lets slip that he was not the one who turned Carly and Drew in to the SEC. Lois is shocked and pushes Olivia to tell her more but Olivia is adamant that keeping quiet is the right thing for the family and the people they love. She tells Lois that the truth will hurt people more. Olivia begs Lois to drop it and she agrees to.
GH Recap Today
Maxie, Sasha, Brook Lynn, and Tracy are at the Home & Heart studio preparing for another appearance on the show. Maxie starts to question Sasha about her feelings for Cody when he arrives for the shoot. In another part of the studio Lucy and Scotty arrive and Lucy tells Scott her plan for them to stage a fight so he can get closer to Tracy without her suspecting anything.
Felicia arrives and Maxie wonders if she is there to find out if Cody is actually Mac’s son. Felicia assures her that she is there to support her but watches every move Cody makes. After he gets his hair done she distracts the hairdresser and steals hair from the brush she used on him. Sasha goes looking for her and notices the brush. She sees Felicia giving an envelope to a man and telling him to take it to the lab at GH and rush the results.
On the stage, Lucy and Scotty stage a fight and she taunts him about Liesl dumping him. Scotty quits and then goes over to talk to Tracy and apologizes for what he said about Luke. He tells her that Lucy doing it to him about Liesl hurt and he knows he must have also hurt Tracy when he did it to her. Tracy accepts his apology but seems suspicious of him.

Liz is at GH working on New Year’s Eve staffing when she sees Finn looking upset as he heads to his office. She finishes her call and follows him. He vents to her about his frustrations about having to be monitored in the OR and his fears of what will happen if the jury decides against him. Liz tries to reassure him but he can’t stop thinking about what could happen.
As they are talking Finn realizes that the patient could have seen another doctor before him who also missed the diagnosis and if he did that could help the jury understand how easy it is to do. They figure out that if he did it was probably near his vacation home and decide to see what they can find out.
Liz leaves to handle something and when she comes back she tells Finn that she talked to some nurses she knows in the town the vacation home is in and found out that the patient did see another doctor there before he saw Finn.

Alexis shows up at Sonny’s penthouse and asks him to tell her that she’s wrong. She tells him about her conversation with Molly and Kristina and her worries about Kristina being the egg donor as well as the surrogate. Sonny admits that she could be right but gets her to see that all they can do is be there and support them all the best they can because it’s not their decision to make. Alexis thanks Sonny for being there for her and he tells her that he always will be.

Kristina is reading a pregnancy book when TJ shows up at her apartment to talk to her. Kristina goes on the defensive when she thinks TJ has changed his mind about her being the surrogate for him and Molly but he asks her to let him talk. She backs down and he admits that he has worried but has a question for her, can she really accept him and Molly being the baby’s parents.
Kristina assures him that she can and they talk about her feelings around it and her past behaviors. TJ feels better once they are done talking and thanks her. He tells her how much he and Molly admire her for what she is doing for them before leaving.
