Play Ball, Apartment Hunt, and Pitching Advice
Today’s General Hospital kicks off with Joe and Dante at the park for a softball game.
Meanwhile, Lucas and Liz arrive. Liz wants practice gear, but she doesn’t see Britt anywhere. Joe tosses a ball near them and fetches it. Dante offers to coach Liz. This makes Joe wonder if they’re an item. Lucas clears it up and says that’s not the case. Liz is with someone else—unless Joe noticed something he missed.
Across the field, Dante helps Liz, who wonders why he is coaching her since they are on opposite sides. He apparently can’t help himself.
Dante takes the time to bring Liz up to speed about Rocco. He also updates her on how things are going for his son and Danny.
Joe and Lucas take some time to get acquainted. Joe reveals he is looking for an apartment. He is surprised to learn Lucas is looking for a place, too. He notes that Liz has been determined to help him find a good spot. Lucas offers to share the listing info Liz gave him.
Britt Learns the Truth about Tristan
At the hospital, Britt finishes up with Tristan. He smiles at Jason, who is watching nearby. Once Tristan leaves, Jason asks Britt about him. She thinks he’s a heart surgeon, but Jason sets her straight and reveals Tristan is WSB.
Shocked, Britt assumes he was planted to spy on her. “It doesn’t matter what I do. I am going to pay for being Faison’s daughter for the rest of my life,” she says.
Jason warns her not to sound the alarm until they know something for sure. He offers to take her out on the boat, but she mentions her game. Jason offers to tag along, but Sonny calls and summons him before they can go.
Ric Shakes Hands with Jason
Ric meets with Sonny, who comments on his outfit. He explains that he’s meeting Liz, who is playing softball for GH later today. He also updates Sonny on Sidwell’s upcoming trials. It looks like Sonny will win, since all of Sidwell’s assets are getting frozen.
Jason arrives, and Sonny announces he wants to talk about buying back his piers from Sidwell. Ric gets ready to leave. Sonny notices the tension and pushes for peace. He needs them to stop going at each other’s throats, and Jason promises it won’t be a problem.
Ric has no problem working with Jason. He extends his hand for a handshake so they can put the past behind them. Jason shakes his hand. On that note, Ric heads out to the park. Sonny appreciates Jason making peace. “There will never be peace between me and Ric,” Jason asserts.
Sonny says he understands Jason’s feelings, but he still needs them to work together. Jason assures him it won’t be a problem. That is because Jason cannot work for Sonny anymore.
Poolside Drama and Quartermaine Disdain
At the Metro Court Pool, Ethan spots a mystery man in the distance and looks like he’s seen a ghost. Drew walks in, and Brook Lynn spots him. Danny also arrives for a walk and sees Drew. Drew walks over to Ava, who says she’s glad he recovered.
Drew appreciates it, noting that plenty of people aren’t happy about it. He asks if she’s meeting Nina. Ava says no and points toward the guy she’s actually with. However, when she looks over, he’s gone. Ava mentions she’s with Ethan Lovett, which the mysterious Hudson overhears before walking off.
Drew then asks Ava how much she knows about what Willow and Nina did. Ava admits she doesn’t know much, and Drew drops the bomb that he and Willow are divorcing.
Afterwards, Ava walks over to Brook Lynn and asks if she knows where Ethan went. Brook Lynn says he only came over to say hi. Meanwhile, Danny grabs some drinks, trips, and spills them all over Drew. Drew lashes out at him, but Brook Lynn steps in to defend Danny.
Danny Says It’s An Accident
Danny insists it was an accident. Drew refuses to believe it. Brook Lynn tells Danny to go back to work and says she will handle things. She explodes at Drew and tells him to relax.
She thought being locked in would make him a changed man. Brook Lynn even reveals that the Quartermaines are willing to tolerate him for Scout’s sake. However, she also takes the time to tell him that he is not part of the family and never will be.
Drew wastes no time dropping another truth bomb. He reveals that while he couldn’t talk, he could still listen. He tells Brook Lynn that Willow wants Chase back and will do whatever it takes to get him. Brook Lynn points out how lucky Drew is that her son saved him. She tells him he shouldn’t have been saved. Drew notes that he is just lucky Gio is a good man at heart.
Ethan Makes Swift Exit
Ethan heads home and starts packing his bags. Lulu walks in and finds her brother heading for the door. She asks if Sonny is sending him on a last-minute trip, but Ethan admits he is leaving Port Charles for good. She tries to understand why.
Ava calls Ethan. But there is no answer. She leaves a voicemail. Ava tells him that if he doesn’t come back in ten minutes, he shouldn’t come back at all.
Ethan claims he has a job to take care of out of town. Lulu advises her brother not to do this. After all, he used their dad’s name to get in with Sonny.
“I have to go. Please tell me you understand,” Ethan tells her. Lulu notes he always had her back, so now it’s her turn. She wonders if he needs her to cover for him. He tells her no. She begs him to keep in touch, and they share a hug.
Hudson calls Lulu, claiming to be from Express Shipping with a package for Ethan. He wants to know if he has the correct address. Lulu confirms the address, but she explains that Ethan doesn’t live there anymore. In fact, he left the country.
Secrets, Spies, and Family Ties
Anna tells Peter she isn’t going to kill Britt. Peter pushes her to do it anyway. Anna thinks she needs to see Valentin, but Peter warns her against it because she can’t trust him. Suddenly, Emma walks in and asks her grandma who she was talking to.
Anna claims she was dictating case files, and Emma tells her not to push herself so hard. Anna thanks her, and they pivot to talking about Maxie’s family move to Australia. Emma mentions finding out that Joss is in the WSB, and wishes she had heard it from her grandmother first. Anna apologizes for keeping it quiet. Emma understands, and adds that Joss explained she was undercover at the time.
Anna points out how much she went through while she was away. However, she is back now. She promises to make sure they are never separated again.
Anna Sees Carly and Valentin Kissing
Carly meets with Valentin, who is thrilled she could join him. He has big news. The WSB came through, so all his assets are unfrozen. Now, he wants to give her what she deserves.
Valentin explains he is still interested in getting Wyndemere. Charlotte loves it, and he wants to do whatever makes her happy. However, Carly warns him that it will be a hard fight. She tells him the place creeps her out, so she won’t be visiting. He will have to come to her instead.
Carly raises a toast to Valentin and to getting the best of Jack. Valentin can’t help but note that Jack didn’t put up a fight. He wonders if she should be worried. Val points out that Nina would have paid for whatever is inside the black box. He is curious about what is inside that box. He wonders what Nina and Jack could possibly have in common.
Carly couldn’t care less about what Nina and her ex are up to. Valentin wishes he could say the same, admitting he feels jealous where Sonny is concerned. Carly reminds him he has nothing to worry about. Just then, the two start kissing, and Anna walks in to see them. She looks on in complete shock!
Medical Mind Games and Game Time
Back at the hospital, Tristan enters an exam room, and Britt locks the door behind him. He claims he was just there for a consult, but she calls him out on the lie.
She knows the WSB sent him. Tristan realizes Jason tipped her off, but he assures her he won’t get fired because he isn’t an agent. He just worked at a WSB medical facility, and that’s it. He tells her to get her facts straight next time.
Britt wonders how he could work for people who made her believe she had a terrifying disease when she didn’t. Tristan reminds her he was hired as a cardiologist. He insists his parents had nothing to do with her. “It could work wonders… so could decaf,” he says on his way out, suggesting she try therapy.
Dante teaches Liz how to play the game. Meanwhile, Ric walks in and spots them from a distance. At the park, Britt arrives with the gears for the game. She is late as usual, and Liz has a few things to say about that.
