General Hospital Episode Recap and Spoilers for Thursday January 11, 2024:
What happened today on General Hospital: Carly and Felicia travel to Amsterdam to tend to the business Bobbie left. Meanwhile, Maxie and a reporter sit down with the people of Port Charles to share their memories of Bobbie. Carly dedicates a lovely tribute to her mother.

Anna is standing in front of a wall at the hospital that lists the names of people who have passed away. At that moment, Robert comes along and Anna confides in him about how unfair it seems that they had to say goodbye to people who were there for their daughter when they couldn’t be there.
In Amsterdam, Carly and Felicia are at a cafe and Carly questions the man if he recognizes her mom as she shows him a picture. Carly and Felicia are sitting at different tables and talking to each other through earpieces. Felicia spots a woman and thinks they just found the contact. Carly approaches the woman and asks if she knows her mother and reveals that her mother died, but there was a whole side to her mother that she did not know anything about. She asks how her mom got involved in the organization. Carly mentions that a reporter told her that her mother was helping a young woman when she died.
Framke, the woman Carly is talking to, reveals that the woman’s name is Cornelia. Framke arranged for her to board a flight to Canada, but that was years ago. She assumed Bobbie already got asylum for her, but since Bobbie didn’t get it, Cornelia must still be in Canada. Felicia steps away and calls Anna and asks if she has any contacts in the State Department. Felicia explains how Bobbie was helping someone get asylum when she passed away, and Robert says he has a few contacts in the State Department and decides to make a few calls. As Framke mentions Bobbie’s talk of the cabin in Canada, Carly realizes she knows where Cornelia is. Felicia and Carly head to Canada.
Carly says it is funny that she never really spent much time with her mom’s best friend. Suddenly, Carly screams, “Look out,” as Felicia swerves off the road. Later, Carly and Felicia work together to change the tire. Felicia explains having a bit of resentment for Carly for a while because of her affair with Tony and hurting her best friend. Carly suggests they should lean on each other as they are one of the few people who were close to Bobbie.

After the tire is fixed, Felicia and Carly get to the cabin and call for Cornelia. She pulls the door and asks who they are. They say they are friends who are there to take her somewhere safe, but Cornelia swings a shovel at them. Carly promises she has a picture that could prove they are friends and they are just there to help her. Cornelia spots Boobie’s necklace on Carly as Carly reveals that Bobbie is her mom. Carly shows the picture to prove it. Cornelia doesn’t understand why Bobbie didn’t come, but Carly says her mom died. Anna gets a call from Felicia telling her that the favor she and Robert called is needed now.

Angela meets Maxie at Kelly’s so that she can conduct the interview to get the information she needs for her piece about Bobbie. Laura joins them. She is not sure what she can add that she didn’t say in her eulogy, but Angela says she wants to write all about Bobbie. Laura reflects on that time when they were fighting over a boy. Laura also mentions that Bobbie was never afraid to be honest with her, and she loves her for that.
Next, Lucas comes and talks fondly of his mother and how she always stood up for people. Josslyn, Willow, and Michael talk about their past with Bobbie and that time when Bobbie wore a black dress to Nelle’s wedding to protest. Scott and Lucy talk about how upbeat Bobbie was and how she was the best nurse at General Hospital but she was never afraid to mince words. Lucy is emotional as she talks about how special BJ was to her. Liz talks about being sexually assaulted as a teen and Bobbie was kind to her and never made her feel ashamed. After, Maxie tells Angela to remember to send her a copy of the story and that she is hoping she will stick around in town, but Angela says her boss only allowed her a limited time and promises Maxie will see her around..
Maxie, Felicia, Carly, Anna, and Robert meet at the hospital, where Liz checks out the bruise on Carly’s forehead. Carly asks Liz if the offer to help with the repair of the sign at Kelly’s still stands. Liz says yes and Carly tells her that she has an idea.

The next day, Maxie informs others that she has been searching for Angela’s business card but can’t find it anywhere. Felicia agrees to help her track her down. Felicia calls the Amsterdam Press looking for the reporter but was told that there is no record of her ever working there.
Later, Carly, Laura, and Lucas admire the new sign that Elizabeth has made for Kelly’s. Lucas bids goodbye to Carly and as he exits Kelly’s, he spots the reporter and approaches her. After their conversation, she calls him Champ. However, when Lucas turns around, she isn’t there anymore. Felicia suddenly has a flashback of young BJ and realizes that it was BJ who had returned. At the same time, Maxie also realizes that it was BJ who had come back.
After everyone leaves, Carly hangs a new sign renaming Kelly’s to Bobbie’s.
