General Hospital Recap March 11, 2024: Today on GH – Carly reveals the news about Jason to Sonny. John and Anna continue their pursuit. Maxie and Spinelli try to resolve their issues. Sasha offers her support to Cody.
The action-packed manhunt for Jason Morgan continues through the week! Only staying one half-step in front of John Cates and Anna, Jason evades capture while Dante fights for his life! Support for and against the returning fan favorite character is taking shape as the plot thickens! Plus, TJ shares a secret truth while Finn bonds with Elizabeth and her sons.
GH Recap, March 11, 2024
Spinelli and Maxie hop into Maxie’s car to find Jason, but the car won’t start. Out of gas, Maxie and Spinelli banter about the empty tank. Maxie feels like she let Spinelli down, but Spin doesn’t blame her; he is just worried about what will happen to Jason and everyone after him.
Spixie 2.0: Maxie and Spinelli’s Quest
Spinelli tells Maxie that he would do anything for her, and right here is the only place he wants to be. He admits to feeling guilty about giving up Jason, but Maxie understands, saying that Jason allowed his face to be seen and that it was on him. She knows he won’t give up without a fight and tells Spinelli they will do the same.
Spinelli thanked Maxie for working with him even though he had lied about his apartment pipes. Maxie says his heart was in the right place, and Spinelli says it’s with Maxie and always has been. They kiss and share a tender moment, stranded. Maxie wants to know when Spinelli can move out of the house, surprising Spinelli.
Carly gives Jason a Head Start
Jagger and Anna question Carly about Jason, and she tells them to wait outside until her lawyer arrives.
Anna says it’s obvious that Jason is at the house, and Carly would rather “swallow ground glass” than give the advantage to Anna and Jagger. Jagger and Anna start to search the house, and with the warrant, Carly cannot stop them.
Carly quietly calls Diane to help squash the warrant on Jason.
Coming up empty in the house, Anna and Jagger are determined to find Jason, who they think knows the property well. They threaten to take Carly downtown, but she convinces them he isn’t in the house. Jagger and Anna inform Carly that Jason tried to kill Sonny and shot Dante, but she vehemently denies his possible involvement. Anna thinks of another place Jason could be, and she and Jagger leave to follow that lead.
General Hospital Recap Today: TJ’s Secret Fears Revealed
TJ brings Jordan some donuts in his office but says the coffee is “GH’s finest,” meaning it isn’t great. TJ wonders why Jordan is hiding out in his office, and Jordan says she wants to give Dante’s family space. She asks for an update, but TJ doesn’t have one.
Jordan and TJ discuss the tense situation Kristina’s family is facing, and Jordan notices that TJ is holding back. She says it is a judgment-free zone, and he can be honest with her. TJ says he is worried about his future child because of their biological ties to Sonny Corinthos. Kristina, as a donor, makes Sonny his child’s biological grandfather.
GH Recap March 11, 2024: Jordan Quells Family Fears
TJ tells Jordan his concerns about the attempts on Sonny’s life lately and how they point to his greatest fears. Jordan wants to know if TJ told Molly his feelings, but he can’t bring himself to tell her how worried he is about the dangerous elements of her family. He says it took a lot of soul-searching to choose Kristina, but now, with TJ seeing Dante in the hospital, he is worried that it’s the future his family will see time and again. Jordan calls his concerns “human.”
Jordan supports the situation, saying Kristina, of all people, would do the right thing for her sister’s baby. She tells TJ that he can’t control everything, but he wishes he could. Jordan says all he can do is be optimistic that the outcome will be what he wants. She understands his trepidation given the first miscarriage, and TJ says this time, it has to go as planned. Jordan says a perfect world isn’t reality, and as much as he’d like Kristina to be perfect, the odds are actually in his favor.
Jordan and TJ finish the conversation in a good place, sharing a hug and compliments. She says she can’t wait to meet her grandchild.
General Hospital Recap March 11: Elizabeth Supports Sam through Danny
Liz spots Danny at the hospital and asks why he’s there. They talk about Dante being shot and how Danny snuck out to check on him. Liz compliments Sam, saying Danny shouldn’t worry about letting her know he is there.
Liz takes Danny to find Sam, who is frustrated that Danny left home. She explains that Danny is just worried about Dante. Sam softens; Sonny and Alexis, who are with Sam, thank Liz.
Sam says she is sorry that Danny doesn’t have any updates, but they don’t have any updates to give. She tells Danny he should go home, but he refuses. Alexis asks if she can chaperone Danny and take him home later.
Jake and the Vape: General Hospital March 11, 2024
Jake answers the door to greet Finn but says Liz isn’t home yet. He invites Finn in as Liz is just running late from her shift. Finn asks Jake about the school, but Finn immediately finds the vape that Jake didn’t realize he had dropped.
Jake tries to lie and say it’s a game piece, but Finn knows it’s a vape. Jake tells Finn it belongs to a friend from school, and Jake tells Finn that he took it because he was worried about his friend. Finn asks basic, nonjudgmental questions about the situation, and Jake answers honestly but still covers for Danny’s ownership of the vape.
Jake says he doesn’t want to get his friend in trouble; he just wants him to stop. Jake wonders if taking the vape was stupid because his friend would get another one, and now he’s just mad at Jake. Finn advises him to be direct about Jake’s concerns and the health risks. Jake says his friend won’t care, but Finn says that his friend will remember what Jake said, and it might make a difference in time. Jake is worried Finn will tell his mother, but Finn says it would be better if he told her. Elizabeth walks in right after. She notices the tense energy in the air and asks if everything is OK.
Elizabeth and Finn’s Deepening Bond
Jake explains the vape Finn found to Elizabeth, saying it belongs to a friend. With no other reason not to trust her son, she believes his story and says his friend is “lucky to have you.” Jake credits Finn for giving him great advice, and Liz is happy the family can trust each other. Jake thanks Finn on his way out, leaving Finn and Liz alone in the living room.
Liz and Finn discuss the conversation they just had with Jake. Liz is relieved Jake isn’t smoking, and Finn wants to know if he overstepped.
Finn and Elizabeth on March 11
Finn and Liz continue their conversation about Jake and the vape, and Liz compliments Finn on how he handled it. She thinks Jake is warming up to Finn in their lives and is getting closer to the Infectious Disease Specialist. Liz is curious if Finn would be concerned if she had to step in with Violet. Finn wonders if Liz even wants that responsibility after having her own kids. Liz says she appreciates Violet’s girl energy. They discuss the families blending, Finn being happy Cam added him to the group text.
Finn tells Liz that Aiden told him about Tobias. Liz is surprised Aiden told Finn about Tobias; Finn says it came up while making brownies. Liz is excited about Finn’s development with her son. “Brownie bonding is a real thing,” Finny says. Liz agrees. Liz is happy that Aiden is comfortable enough to tell Finn about his love life; Finn is as well. They kiss.
Finn says he should get going because he has to perform an early morning surgery. He expresses how happy he is to spend time with Jake and credits Liz for her influence on his life. She says things are easier now that she has him. They kiss again, and Finn leaves reluctantly and filled with love. One lingering glance concludes their night together.
Alexis and Danny a Share Tender Family Moment: GH Recap Today
In an attempt to ease Danny’s intense concerns, Alexis tells him a story about waiting for Sam to get out of a tense situation and her trust in the Doctor’s to get it handled.
Danny says that Alexis is the coolest grandma he knows. Alexis says that she and Danny are the same in wanting to right injustices. She explains that the best thing Danny can do is go home to be with Scout because she’ll need him.
Sam and Sonny Share the Same Concern for Dante
Sonny and Sam open up about Dante’s condition, and Sonny wonders why Dante chased down the gunman. Sam says it’s who he is, and it’s his job. Sonny understands but wishes it wasn’t true, just for the night. Sam seeks peace and acceptance for the danger to Dante’s life but can’t find it for who shot him.
Sonny wants to avoid jumping to conclusions about Dante’s situation. Sam is undaunted about the gunman paying the price, “Do you understand what I’m asking you to do?” she demands from Sonny, who accepts Sam’s meaning. Sonny gets a text from Carly to meet on the roof.
Sonny and Carly Take Opposite Sides
Carly and Sonny meet on the roof, and catch up on Jason’s reappearance. She is surprised that Sonny knows Jason is alive and he tells her what happened during the shooting from his POV.
Carly denies Jason would try to kill Sonny. Sonny points out the evidence that is suggestion Jason as the only culprit.
Carly tells Sonny the details of Jason showing up at her house. She tells him that she though she was hallucinating, but then realized he was shot. She doesn’t know who shot him, and Sonny thinks is it might have been Dante and his resolution to find Jason grows. At this point Sonny fully believes Jason is the enemy.
Sonny returns to Sam inside GH and he tells her that they have an ID of the possible gunman and that “It’s Jason. He’s alive.” Sam has a subdued reaction similar to the same feeling she’s expressed during this ordeal.
Sasha Won’t Let Cody Shut her Out
Sasha finds GH, and she hugs him, saying how worried she has been about him. She offers him support, with Cody nearly overwhelmed by emotion over Dante. He says he didn’t call Sasha because he knew she’d be there for him.
Cody is worried his presence won’t be welcome at Dante’s bedside. Sasha doesn’t understand, and Cody makes excuses about his past and troubles that make him feel less than. Sasha says it’s time for them to change that.
Cody says that given their crossroads in their relationship, he wanted to see her on a date, not at the hospital. Sasha says she is looking forward to “whatever comes next,” but today, they’re friends, and she cares. She says she will be there whenever Cody needs her, so next time, call her. Cody says he will call her in the future and thanks her.
Cody offers to get Sasha coffee, but she is flattered when he shows he knows her coffee order.
Anna and Jagger Confront Jason!
Jagger and Anna catch up with Jason on the bridge.
Anna asks Jason to let himself be taken in so they can figure out what’s happening. Instead of surrendering, Jason jumps off the bridge. Someone shoots at him as he falls!
After losing sight of Jason, Anna and Jagger talk about the history of the bridge. She mentions its connection to Jason, Robin, and, by tangent, Stone. Anna explains that Jason rebuilt the bridge after it was deemed unsafe, so she knows he would come here to regroup.
Anna theorizes that Jason figured he’d survive the fall off the bridge. Jagger says it’d be better to jump than to be charged with “killing a cop.”
Jason stumbles into the Quartermaine boathouse and passes out.
