General Hospital Recap March 18, 2024: Today on GH – Dex makes a confession to Josslyn. Tracy shares a moment with Sonny. Diane offers encouragement to Alexis. Kevin explains what might have led to Marshall’s misdiagnosis. Stella has an unlikely encounter.
General Hospital GH Recap March 18, 2024
Nina’s really stirring the pot, dropping the bomb that Dex was in Cyrus’s hospital room in hospital scrubs. She tells Joss she’s smart and will figure it out, then leaves.
Joss starts grilling him, and he confesses he went to the hospital on Sonny’s order to kill Cyrus. Joss can’t believe he’d do something like that and thinks Nina’s just causing trouble.
Dex explains he was ready to go through with it, but Sonny stopped him. He admits that if Sonny hadn’t stopped him, he would’ve done it. Joss is shocked at who he’s become. She tells him this isn’t the life she envisioned and walks out, saying she can’t do this anymore.
Quartermaine Mansion!
Olivia jolts awake when Tracy throws a blanket over her. Tracy says she pulled an all-nighter at the hospital and that Dante would want Olivia to get some sleep.
Tracy goes to get her some coffee. After falling asleep again, Olivia is woken up by Lois, who’s brought her a cup of tea since Tracy had to leave. They start chatting about Dante, and Olivia confesses she’s not sure whether to feel relieved or terrified.
Lois and Olivia are chatting about Brooklynn and Dante being childhood buddies and now Brooklynn is getting hitched to his partner. Lois mentions that Brooklynn is freaking out about Chase, but he’s trying to play it cool.
General Hospital GH Recap March 18, 2024
At the Gallery, Trina and Ava are chatting about colleges and universities. Trina notes that Paris was such an adventure. Ava totally gets that she’s throwing herself into work to cope, but maybe being there isn’t helping. Trina admits she doesn’t really know what else to do.
Nina comes in and asks Ava if she can steal her for a sec, Trina decides to leave to give them some alone time. Nina talks about The Invader dropping a story on the pier shooting and sneaking in a mention of Sonny. She says she is the boss and wonders how’d they pull that off without her knowing.
Nina’s pretty bummed because if she’d known, she could’ve shut it down or at least done some damage control. But Ava tells her to chill, Sonny couldn’t care less about that story. Then Nina talks about seeing Josslyn when she went to visit Dex and of course Ava wants to know why she went to see Dex.
Nina’s Request!
Nina explains how she can’t even check on Dante at the hospital or see Sonny, and she’s feeling useless and pushed aside when her husband needs her the most. She’s running out of options and asks Ava to help her out, pretty please. Trina comes in with an update for Ava, who asks her to handle things for her as she leaves with Nina.
A teary-eyed Joss hurries to the gallery to find Trina. Trina is curious about what’s happening, and Joss confesses that it’s about Dex. Joss says she really hopes Dex leaves and wishes he never comes back. Meanwhile, Dex is packing and comes across a bottle. He calls the police line.

Sonny’s with Dante and having a heart-to-heart with his unconscious son. Then Tracy pops in and starts talking about how every time she sees a hospital bed, it reminds her of Luke.
Later, Sonny’s just sitting there, when someone places a hand on his shoulder, and, surprise, it’s Ava.
Ava lets Sonny know that she heard Dante is doing okay. Sonny’s not too happy about the hospital giving her that info. Ava thinks they mistook her for Nina. Sonny makes it clear he doesn’t want to hear that name. Ava says okay and offers to just stay with him.
Diane Has A Plan!
At The Invader, Alexis and Diane are chatting about how to get her back into practicing law. Diane’s going over Alexis’ case, pointing out that Julian and Britt were known liars and could have perjured themselves. She asks why Alexis never defended herself, to which Alexis responds that the allegations were true.
Diane insists it was irrelevant and that Alexis had a right to a defense. Alexis admits she didn’t think she had anything to fight for, to which Diane encourages her to let go of that thinking.
Diane suggests there may have been a bias against Alexis. Alexis agrees and Diane then leaves to see how she can push this appeal forward.
General Hospital GH Recap March 18, 2024
Marshall and Stella are grilling Kevin about his misdiagnosis. Marshall’s Kevin starts talking about this book exposing psychology mistakes. He explains how scientists just want to be right and prove their beliefs.
Kevin brings up how the control group for what’s considered normal was mostly white, so anyone different got labeled abnormal. He mentions how black men who were seen as aggressive got slapped with the schizophrenic label, and how women were often given valium. Lots of poor people got misdiagnosed and given the wrong meds, especially if they had no insurance. And turns out Marshall lost his insurance when he got diagnosed.
Marshall thanks Kevin for shedding light on his situation. Later, Marshall confesses to Curtis that he feels he has to forgive Dr. Braddock, because that’s what Irene would want. He doesn’t want to become bitter like the doctor.
Curtis tells him he’ll work on it, both for himself and for Marshall. Marshall reflects on how the doctor’s six feet under and he’s here with his family, and that’s proof of God’s existence.
Tracy and Stella!
Tracy asks Stella to give her the lowdown on Dante’s condition. Stella tells her she has something she wants to chat with Tracy about later. Tracy says she’s all ears, so they might as well discuss it now. Stella points out that Tracy is the only board member who hasn’t booked a wellness test.
Tracy insists she doesn’t need it and asks if she looks unwell. Stella fires back, saying she looks rather silly. She talks to Tracy about the injustices in healthcare, implying that Tracy is contributing to this. Tracy is rude with her response, but then apologizes to Stella.
