Isaiah Questions Britt

In today’s November 5 recap of General Hospital, Isaiah interrupts Britt as she is going off on a nurse at GH. He warns her that her truce with the nursing staff is going to blow. “What happened to the new and improved Britt?” he asks. Britt tells him that she is gone.

Isaiah notes that he is going to miss the old Britt. He wonders what actually happened to change her mood. Britt explains that she was having the time of her life with a new Australian guy, but he turned out to be a total fraud. Isaiah reassures her that she probably dodged a bullet.

Heather’s Big News for Liz

Across the halls, Liz finishes up a task with Portia before being surprised to see Heather step out of the elevator. “What are you doing here?” she asks. Heather announces that she has moved back to Port Charles and that Liz will never have to miss her again.

Liz reminds her that a lot of people won’t welcome her back with open arms. Heather knows. She acknowledges that she caused a lot of damage and wants to make some serious amends. Heather even points out that her medical malpractice lawsuit made her a rich woman, and she wants to use that money to give back. “I am one of the good guys now,” she says. Portia begs to differ. She warns Heather to get out before she regrets it.

Heather tells her there is no need for threats. She swears she is harmless now. Still, Portia doesn’t believe a word of it. She points out that Heather has been stalking Trina. Heather insists she isn’t the stalker. However, Liz steps in and warns them that GH is not the place for this conversation. Heather agrees.

Before leaving, she asks Liz to get lunch with her sometime. Once Heather walks away, Portia turns to Liz. “Please tell me that you’re not welcoming back that monster to Port Charles,” Portia emphasizes.

Liz apologizes. However, she warns Portia not to do anything drastic. She reminds her of the time Portia almost lost her medical license because of her actions.

Heather Apologizes to Britt

Later, Heather returns to the hospital and approaches Britt. Britt knows exactly who she is. Still, Heather apologizes for almost killing her. She explains that she was relieved to find out Britt is alive and well. Heather notes that she doesn’t blame Britt if she holds a grudge, but she asks if there is anything she can do to make up for it.

In fact, Heather points out that she is rich now and offers to buy her a nice bracelet. Britt isn’t having it and tells her to stay away from her. Right on cue, Liz arrives and catches the whole scene.

Tracy is Leaving Port Charles Temporarily

At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy tells Jason that she is leaving town because her son, Dillon, was arrested. Jason suggests sending a team so Tracy wouldn’t have to go herself, but Tracy insists she has to.

In fact, she is thinking of leaving her son to the justice system to teach him a lesson. She also hates leaving the family while it is in so much jeopardy, but Jason tells her not to worry—he will make sure everything is fine. Tracy wonders if he really can, pointing out that she heard about Carly’s arrest and worries Jason will be too distracted helping her.

Serena Hatches a Plan

Over at Bobbie’s, Lucy is not feeling up to anything. She notes that she put her blood, sweat, and tears into Deception, and now it is going to be swallowed up. To her, it isn’t right. She loves Deception, and it would hurt less if someone reached into her chest and ripped her heart out. Serena chimes in.

“To hell with Deception,” she says, adding that they should just let them have it. She thinks it’s time to flip the board over, even suggesting they start from scratch and create a mother-daughter company, just like the Palmers. That way, they will never have to tolerate Tracy again—plus, they’ll finally get to see Tracy’s shocked face when they beat her.

Lucy thinks they need to come up with a banger name for their new company. Serena agrees. She believes they will land on something great eventually.

Lucy worries about brand recognition. Still, Serena loves a challenge. They would have to hustle, but she is sure they can pull this off despite the odds. Lucy likes the energy. Even so, she notes that they have been playing the Quartermaines’ game all along—and now it’s time the Qs play theirs.

Later, Serena calls Jason. She tells him that she has a proposition he would be very interested in hearing. He doesn’t think so. But then, she mentions Carly.

Lucy decides to leave so Serena can handle the plan with Jason on her own. As Lucy heads out, she runs right into Jason. He then sits down with Serena, who thanks him for coming. Then, she makes a bold announcement: she may have a get-out-of-jail-free card for Carly, but it all depends on him.

Serena suggests she can provide an alibi for Carly the night Brennan died. She promises to step forward, but only if her mom and her get full creative control of Deception.

Valentin Seeks Alexis’ Help

Alexis visits Valentin and warns him that she isn’t representing him. However, Valentin tells her that, on the contrary, she is—reminding her that she is his attorney of record. He even insists that she is far better suited for this task than Martin. He wants to ensure their privileged conversation isn’t being recorded. Alexis isn’t sure she wants to be a part of this, but Valentin assures her that she will.

Valentin begs Alexis to get Danny to contact Charlotte. He needs Danny to deliver a message to her word for word. His message is that he is fine and that she shouldn’t say anything to anyone, especially Lulu. Alexis thinks she deserves more answers first. She wants to know exactly what this message is really about.

Valentin explains what is really going on. He thinks there is only one person who can talk his daughter out of coming back to town, and that’s Danny. That is why it is imperative for Alexis to deliver the message.

Emma and Gio Investigate

Meanwhile, Emma and Gio talk about being unable to uncover anything about Alan Smith. They don’t think the timing with Heather is a coincidence, and Emma brings up Heather’s history—including the fact that Heather was once married to an Alan.

Gio is surprised. Her point is that Heather has a long history of doing horrible things, making Emma wonder if Heather still blames Trina for what happened with Esme and if her grudge against Trina hasn’t truly gone away.

Sonny Meets Jude

Over at Sonny’s, Jude meets with him and jokes about Sonny killing him and cleaning up the mess without anyone being the wiser. Jude adds that he knows all about the history between Sonny and his family.

Sonny suggests that he and Jude team up to force Joss out of JJE. He thinks once the mission is complete, Jude can do whatever he wants—as long as he stays far away from him.

Jude is on board. Sonny also tells Jude that he needs his piers back. Jude agrees. However, Sonny has one more condition: Jude must drop his claim to Phoebe and leave her mother and father alone for good.

Jude turns him down. As tempting as it is, and as much as it would expedite the process of him getting JJE, he is not willing to give up on his daughter. Still, Sonny tells him that he will leave the offer on the table.
