General Hospital Recap for November 29, 2023





General Hospital Episode Recap and Spoilers for Today, Wednesday, November 29, 2023:



What happened today on General HospitalMaxie opens up to Felicia. Dante and Chase collaborate on an investigation. Gloria gets some help from her family. Sonny confronts Ava. Martin helps Finn with his legal issues. 




GH Recap Today

Felicia pays a visit to Maxie, who seems to be troubled about a recent financial decision she made. She confesses that she incurred a lot of credit card debt, and despite being able to pay it off in the past through her work in Deception, things have shifted after the lawsuit. 








Maxie points out the new furniture in her place, and admits that she feels like she dug herself into a hole that she can’t get out of. Even though her kids love their new home, she feels overwhelmed with the financial burden and wonders how she can get out of it, especially since it will take a while before she starts earning that kind of money again. Felicia offers to help by giving Maxie the money, but Maxie refuses. She takes responsibility for her actions and says that she will find a way out. Felicia warns her that it won’t be easy with a 25% interest now at Deception.

GH Recap Today

While running an errand, Alexis runs into her daughter Molly, who seems to be in the middle of an important meeting. After sitting with her for a while, Alexis reveals that she had been there earlier came back to retrieve her phone, and noticed that Molly closed a folder quickly as if to keep something private. She reassures her daughter that she can talk to her about anything. Molly then confides in her mother that she has started looking for a new surrogate. Alexis commends her daughter’s resolve to keep fighting and assures her that she and TJ will find the right candidate. However, Molly reveals that TJ has no idea about her search, as he wants to wait and avoid potential heartbreak. Alexis advises her daughter to have a conversation with TJ about this. 





Martin meets with Finn. Finn asks him to represent him in the case. Martin shares with Finn that he thinks that the case may be difficult to win and he wants to be fully transparent before accepting the case. Finn cautions him that he may have just made things worse. The GH attorney, Dede Clark returns and is pleased to meet Martin. She tells him that she has more questions for his client, but Martin says that his client won’t be answering any questions until the deposition. He advises her to change her tactics and notes that GH hired her to stab Finn in the back. Martin assures her that as his attorney, he can shift all the blame back on GH, and Clark tells him that she cannot reveal the hospital’s position. Clark agrees to get all her questions answered at the deposition. Martin warns Finn that he is in a tough spot.





GH Recap Today


Sonny meets with Ava at the Metro Court. She wonders what happened, and Sonny informs her that Austin is dead. Ava wants to know how he died, but Sonny says maybe she can tell him. Ava insists she has no idea; she did not even know he was dead. Sonny notes that if she killed Austin, she should tell him right now. Ava says she had no reason to, but Sonny, on other hand thinks that not true because Austin lied to her about his connection to Cyrus. 




Ava claims she has nothing to do with Austin’s death; she doesn’t even know how he died. Sonny tells her that he was shot and killed in Pautuck. As Ava wonders what Austin was doing there, Sonny thinks maybe the killer lured him there. Sonny persists as Ava maintains she didn’t kill the man. Sonny reminds Ava that she and Austin had a lot of dealings and people are aware of it. Ava then remembers the last time she saw Austin was at her gallery and they had an argument, but she did not kill him. Sonny advises her that whether she killed him or not, she could end up as the main suspect. 



Brook Lynn and Chase are at the PCPD. After he breaks this big case that he is working on, Brook Lynn wants him to come by the house to say bye to Gloria. Meanwhile, Dante and the detective consult on Austin’s murder. Later, Chase joins them and the detective reveals what he learned so far. Dante questions if they have a preliminary time of death ot which the detective responds by saying Austin died of two shots close to the chest at close range about 24 to 48 hours prior to Thanksgiving

They try to assess who is responsible for the murder. As they mention Mason, the detective notes that he is handcuffed to a hospital bed with guards outside the door. The detective also notes that he is aware that Austin was related to the Quartermaines, but Dante and Chase point out that he did not associate with him much. The detective then wonders who Austin associated with. Dante says that he associated with Ava, the kidnapping victim. 


Gloria is worried about Zizi’s safety, fearing that the Russians might harm her. However, Yuri enters the scene and assures Gloria that he will fix the problem. Lois also shares Gloria’s concerns but believes in Yuri’s capabilities. When Brook Lynn arrives, Lois briefs her about the issue, which involves a woman connected to the Russians. Brook Lynn suggests calling Sonny for assistance, but Yuri insists that he can handle it. Later, a man named Mr. Petrov visits them, and he accuses Gloria of upsetting his Petra. Yuri thanks him for coming and reveals that his nephew used to take trombone lessons from Petrov. Brook Lynn seizes the opportunity and offers to hire Petrov’s nephew as a trombonist for her upcoming tour. Petrov is hesitant at first, but Brook Lynn convinces him to take the offer and drop the issue with Gloria. They strike a deal, after which Lois commends Brook Lynn for her handling of the situation.




Shortly after, Chase arrives and says he wanted to stop by and tell Gloria it was a pleasure meeting her. Gloria tells him that it was a pleasure meeting him, too and since he decided to stop by there are a few things she wanted to say to him about her granddaughter. Later, Gloria is about to leave, but before she goes, she asks Brook Lynn when Chase and she are getting married. 





Dante visits Mason. Mason tells him to get out, reminding him that he is the cop shot him. Mason yells for help, fearing Dante will harm him again and Dante calls the guard and the nurse to come in and stand as witnesses. Dangte proceeds to inform him that his cousin, Austin, has been murdered. Mason questions how his cousin died and Dante tells him that he was shot. As Mason inquires who is on the suspect list, Dante tells him that’s where he comes in. He can help them, and they can make a deal; otherwise he will spend a long time in prison. Mason says it was Ava; they were involved. Maybe Austin said something to the wrong person and Ava had to shut him up permanently. On his way ouy, Dante tells Mason that he will be transferred to Pentonville tonight and wishes him a safe trip.
