- Ric agrees to be Lulu’s lawyer.
Ric is Lulu’s Lawyer

On today’s October 16 episode of General Hospital, Lulu stops by to see Sonny, but she finds Ric instead.
“Anything I can help you with?” he asks.
Lulu notes that it depends. “Ever won a libel case?”
Ric needs to meet Liz at the Brown Dog soon, but after Lulu mentions her article, he decides to hear her out. Looking over her paperwork, he agrees to assist her and reminds her that everything she shares falls under attorney-client privilege.
“Wait, are you offering to represent me?” Lulu asks.
Ric confirms he is. However, he warns her that winning will depend on how much evidence she has to back up her accusations. He asks how she got in to see Sidwell despite being told not to. Lulu plays a recording of their conversation, and Ric admits Sidwell sounds remarkably lucid.
Lucy and Serena’s Scheme
Serena discusses her plan with her mother, Lucy. Serena feels they should go easier on Jason. After all, she views him as a decent guy. Lucy quickly counters that Mr. Morgan has done far worse than their little manipulation.
While Serena believes they can reach their goal without tricking Jason into signing anything, Lucy emphasizes how much this means to her.
“Fine,” Serena says. “I’ll do it! Let’s get your company back.”
Clashing Views: It’s Emma and Joss Again

Joss and Hudson discuss how Sonny had Hudson kicked out of the gym. Gio and Emma arrive shortly after, and Joss introduces Hudson, noting that Gio is Phoebe’s older brother.
Gio gets a text from Trina and has to leave. Once he steps out, Joss congratulates Emma on the big move, but Emma tells her to save it. Emma calls out Joss for badmouthing Gio’s grandfather right where Gio could hear it. Joss insists she is just being a friend to Gio and expresses disbelief that Emma is defending Sonny.

Emma clarifies that she is defending Gio, while Joss claims Emma simply hates her. Sensing the rising tension, Gio decides he and Emma should leave. Afterward, Joss explains their history to Hudson.
Tensions and Partying at the Brown Dog

Joe gets dressed up to head out, but Lucas thinks his suit is too much and offers to check his closet for a better option. Later, they arrive at the Brown Dog. Lucas steps away, leaving Joe to talk with Isaiah. Joe immediately asks about Lulu’s article, though Isaiah cautions him not to take anything Sidwell says at face value.

Meanwhile, Britt, Liz, and other hospital staff are there for a night out. When Jason walks in, he and Britt lock eyes. Britt quips to Tristan that she is always fun and people are always happy to see her.

Jason catches up with Liz briefly about Jake before she leaves him to his date. Then, Dante thanks Jason for taking the fall for Rocco. Jason accepts the thanks, but he tells Dante that Britt deserves credit too.

Overhearing this, Britt walks over and demands that if they have something to say about her, they say it to her face. Jason explains they were discussing her help with Rocco. Britt brushes off the praise. She questions whether she is supposed to be a hero who saves kids or not. Right then and there, she tells Jason to make up his mind.
Before things escalate, Serena arrives and pulls Jason away. She mentions that she e-signed the document and needs his signature to complete it. Though Jason hesitates, Serena convinces him, and he agrees to head back to the office to sign. When they get to the office, Jason takes a hard look at the document.

Back inside, the mood stays tense as Liz and Britt trade jabs. Britt refuses to leave, so the rest of the group decides to continue the party at Lucas’s place. They head out, leaving Britt behind at the bar.

Just then, Britt gets a drink. She tells the bartender she didn’t order it. He knows. He explains that it’s from the guy across the table, Jude. That’s when he walks over and introduces himself.
Trina’s Car Trouble and Quinn’s Motive Revealed

Trina tries to start her car, but the engine will not turn over. Quinn knocks on her window.
“Car trouble?” he asks.
He checks under the hood, though he admits he knows little about cars. Since Gio just canceled on her, Trina decides to call roadside assistance. Quinn offers her a ride instead, insisting he will either take her home or wait with her. Trina accepts.

During the drive, Quinn mentions that he still cannot get the new song she and Gio performed out of his head. He brings up the mystery flowers, and Trina wishes she knew who sent them. Quinn predicts they will be the first of many.
Suddenly, Trina notices they missed her turn. Quinn tells her they just need to make a quick stop that will only take a second.
“So where are we going?” she asks.
Quinn and Trina arrive at their destination, and Quinn asks her to get the door. When she steps inside, she finds a room decorated with candlelight and roses scattered everywhere.
“Quinn,” she says. “What is this?”
“You like it?” he asks back.
