Britt and Jude Have Breakfast
On the October 21 episode of General Hospital, Britt wakes up in bed. “Good morning, stunner,” Jude calls out to her. “Good morning, crackerjack,” she replies with a smile. He asks if he should make her breakfast, but she tells him it can wait as she pulls him in for a kiss.
Britt tells Jude she does not want breakfast. She reminds him that they only agreed to a one-night thing. Jude agrees. Still, he notes that since they will not be seeing each other again, and the fact that they don’t even know each other’s real names, they might as well make the most of their remaining time together. To that end, Britt changes her mind and agrees to breakfast after all.
While enjoying breakfast, Britt mentions that she has to get ready for work. “What do you do at the hospital?” Jude asks. Britt wonders how he knows where she works. He explains that he pieced it together the night before at the Brown Dog. Britt quickly reminds him that she is not here to answer personal questions.
Later, while alone in his room, Jude extends his stay in Port Charles. He then opens a drawer to retrieve his watch—and right next to it lies a pistol.
Anna Seeks Out Valentin
Meanwhile, Anna goes to see Valentin. He assumes they were supposed to meet at the hospital. Anna explains that she originally came by to thank him for being a part of her therapy, but she has changed her mind. Valentin tells her that he thinks she is making a terrible mistake.
She regrets bringing things up to Carly. She feels she should have just kept the conversation between herself and her therapist.
Anna explains to Valentin that her therapist suggested bringing in someone who knew Faison as well as she did for a couple of sessions. However, Anna did not want to drag Robert into it, and worse, she did not want to put Valentin through it either. Valentin cannot understand her hesitation. “Would you want to revisit a past as painful as ours?” Valentin asks.
He doesn’t want to revisit their history. However, Valentin tells her that he will for her sake.
Cody is Skipping Thanksgiving at the Qs
Out at the stables, Cody tells Tracy that he has to leave to meet Molly. Before he goes, he asks Tracy for Thanksgiving off. He notes that he already cleared it with Yuri. However, Tracy warns him that taking the holiday off is impossible because he is needed at the Qs.
Cody promises that if there is an emergency, he will be there as fast as possible. However, as much as he loves his job, he puts his foot down and insists he will not take no for an answer regarding Thanksgiving.
Cody notes that Alexis is hosting a Thanksgiving gathering, and he wants to be there.
Molly Reveals a Big Offer
Over at the Miller & Davis law office, Alexis and Molly review something together. Molly tells her mom she might want to call Cody soon. She warns that she may not have him available as her on-call carpenter for much longer.
Alexis does not want to lose her carpenter. She wonders if everything between Molly and Cody is okay. Molly assures her that it is. However, she reveals that she received an offer to work at a top law firm in Chicago. “If I accept the position, I will have to relocate,” Molly shares. She notes that it is an incredible opportunity and admits she does not know how she can turn it down.
Moving to Chicago would mean saying goodbye to Cody, too. Molly does not think Cody would ever move with her. After all, he has finally put down deep roots in Port Charles, and she cannot imagine asking him to leave all of that behind. Alexis tells her daughter that she will never truly know what Cody wants unless she asks him.
Cody arrives at the firm and asks about the bookcase. He promises to make Alexis’s book-loving heart happy.
Jason Confronts Lucy
Lucy is at the office getting things prepped for a meeting when Serena arrives. They are preparing to meet with Jason Morgan. Serena wonders why, but Lucy explains she wants to apologize for a minor snafu with a document. Besides, she doesn’t give up easily. She adds that she never loses. “Never?” Jason asks as he arrives just in time.
Lucy takes full responsibility for the document she gave Serena to pass along to Jason for his signature. She promises that from now on, they will double- and triple-check everything so they never make that mistake again.
Jason points out that he is still not going to sign over Michael’s proxy. “So please don’t try it again,” he warns. Lucy suggests that Jason should consider the possibility that Michael actually wanted him to sign it while he was turning Serena down.
Jason Makes the Rules
Jason does not think that is true. Still, Lucy makes her case, believing that she and Serena can run Deception until Michael gets back. Jason still thinks it is a terrible idea. Lucy appreciates his honesty, but she wonders how long she has before Tracy forces her out of “my own company,” as she calls it.
Jason assures them that if nobody asks, their secret is safe with him. Serena reveals that there are a couple of documents he still needs to sign as Michael’s proxy. She assures him he has nothing to worry about. Jason tells her it is fine. He instructs them to send the paperwork over so he can look it over carefully.
Later, Jason meets Tracy at the stables. She asks him how things are going with Ned. Jason assures her that everything is going fine. “How are things going at Deception?” she then asks.
Tracy wonders if Lucy has tried to take control of Deception.
Stella Plans to Take Action
At the hospital, Stella tells Elizabeth that there is an ongoing problem that needs to be addressed and that it is high time they corrected it.
Elizabeth is not sure what is going on. Stella reveals this is about Dr. Westbourne. Elizabeth points out that what happened at the Brown Dog occurred outside of work hours, so there are probably no grounds for the hospital to take action.
Stella begs to differ, and Felicia agrees with her. However, Elizabeth explains that Britt is going through a lot right now. Stella points out that when Britt is stressed, she has a habit of taking it out on her coworkers, especially the nurses.
Elizabeth cannot help but acknowledge that Britt is a remarkable doctor. Felicia chimes in to agree. While Stella appreciates Elizabeth looking out for Britt, she insists they need to look out for the entire staff.
Stella reveals that a serious issue has come up and admits she is surprised Elizabeth did not bring it to her attention. Stella notes that if Britt is creating a hostile work environment for the nurses, they need to take action before facing a lawsuit.
Britt Comes Bearing Donuts and an Apology
Later, Britt arrives at the hospital in a great mood. She is all smiles as she apologizes to Elizabeth and Felicia. She promises to be much cooler at the next staff event, and she even brought donuts to make it up to them.
Felicia reveals that the donuts will have to wait because Stella needs to see her in the conference room. Britt heads inside.
Stella informs her that they are long overdue for a probation review. She asks how things are going for her at the hospital. Britt says things are going well, though she admits a few nurses might hate her right now.
Britt suggests going on an apology tour. She knows her professional relationships need work, and she asks Stella to help her get things back on track.
Felicia and Elizabeth start to worry when they do not hear Britt yelling from inside the office. They even wonder if they should call security just in case things get out of hand.
Meanwhile, Britt and Stella come walking out of the office together. Britt warmly thanks Stella for bringing the issue to her attention.
Felicia is completely stunned by the peaceful reaction. Elizabeth is just as shocked as they both look on, and even Stella seems surprised by how well it went.
