Nancy Lee Grahn as Alexis on GH.

In today’s episode of General Hospital, Alexis is working in her office when Sonny unexpectedly arrives. She initially assumes his visit has something to do with Kristina, but he quickly clears the air.

When she asks what brought him by, Sonny reveals, “Because I’m sick of waiting for you to come to me.” He expected her to confront him directly to hear his side after he was named in connection with the Pentonville attack.

However, Alexis warns him that he will be waiting a very long time. “I don’t wanna know,” she admits.

Alexis explains that she does not trust herself to decide whether his denials are genuine. She wants to keep him in her life, and for her, the safest way to maintain that relationship is by staying out of this. Still, she tries to see both sides and offers her sincere hope that he is innocent. Since that is the best answer he is going to get, Sonny agrees to take it.

Portia is not Having it with Drew

Meanwhile, Drew stops Portia at the hospital to reveal he just spoke with Curtis. He insists they need to work together to secure an appeal for Curtis, but Portia makes it clear she will never trust him.

She reminds him that he blackmailed her for months! Drew expresses regret for his past actions, but Portia could not care less.

As justified as her anger may be, Drew asks if she is really going to let her feelings toward him stand in the way of helping the father of her children get out of prison. Drew shares his plan to have his friend, Kevin Buchanan, run a supportive story in The Banner. Still skeptical, Portia questions his sudden change of heart and asks why he is doing this. Drew claims he is simply trying to make amends.

Danny and Rocco Clash

At the Quartermaine stables, drama explodes when Danny catches Rocco and Scout sharing a kiss! Furious, Danny storms inside. “Get the hell away from my sister,” he yells at Rocco before demanding answers. Scout quickly interjects and warns her brother to stop, insisting they are not doing anything wrong.

She fiercely defends her connection with Rocco, but Danny refuses to hear it. Scout points out that she cares deeply about Rocco and cannot believe her brother thinks he is just using her. When her phone goes off, Scout notes she has to meet her father and rushes off, leaving the boys alone.

Danny realizes that Scout never came to the stables to see him like she originally claimed. Rocco confirms the truth and admits how much he cares for her, but Danny firmly warns him that their romance is never going to happen.

Danny wants to spill the beans, but Rocco warns him against it. Danny agrees to stay silent, but makes it clear he will only keep quiet if Rocco stops seeing his sister altogether.

Scout Opens Up

Later, Scout meets up with Drew for their scheduled dinner. She apologizes for being late, but Drew immediately senses that something is bothering her. He assures her that she does not have to hide her feelings from him, noting that as her dad, he knows when she is upset. In fact, Drew thinks he already knows the reason behind her bad mood!

Drew gently notes that the anniversary of her mother’s death is coming up, prompting Scout to open up. She grows visibly emotional as she talks about the painful reality setting in that her mom is never coming back.

Baines Has words with Dante

Over at the station, Agent Baines meets with Dante to discuss Jack Brennan’s disappearance. Baines points out that when Nina was taken into custody, the bureau was unaware that Drew Cain and Jack suffered similar symptoms from the alleged drug.

Because of this new detail, the bureau is officially revisiting the entire investigation. “The bureau is handling this accordingly,” Baines informs the commissioner, explicitly asking the PCPD to stay out of the matter.

Joe Wants to Investigate

Jonathan Bennett as Joe Fitzpatrick on General Hospital.

After Baines leaves, Joe swings by Dante’s office and wonders if the agent’s visit was tied to Jack’s disappearance. Joe reveals he has plenty of questions of his own and thinks the PCPD needs to open its own independent investigation.

Dante reminds him that the WSB wants them to step back, citing what happened to Chase when he crossed those boundaries. However, Dante ultimately decides to open the case file anyway. “What do you have so far?” Dante asks. “Ava Jerome,” Joe replies.

Ava Seeks Lucas’ Help

Elsewhere in the hospital, Ava meets with Lucas in hopes that he can put in a good word with his handsome roommate. She explains that Joe approached her with questions regarding Brennan. Lucas thinks it is no big deal, but Ava points out that she has no fans at the PCPD, especially with Sonny’s son running the department.

She begs Lucas to smooth things over with his pal, but Lucas admits his gut is telling him to stay out of it. Still, Ava continues to press him. Lucas promises that if anyone approaches him, he will make sure they know she is his very nice aunt.

He agrees to help steer Joe on the right track. He notes that Joe loves a good mystery—and Brennan going missing is a big one that Joe won’t stop investigating until he solves it!

Baines Approaches Ava

Later, Ava runs into Baines in the hospital hallway. He warns her that the WSB may question her about her connection to Jack. Baines notes that witnesses spotted them together the last night he was seen. He insists she can answer his questions right then and there, but Portia steps in to interrupt.

Portia tells Baines he can conduct any formal questioning at his own quarters. After Baines walks away, Ava thanks Portia and explains that having a simple drink with the wrong man has come back to haunt her. Portia notes she cannot help with her WSB problem, but she might be able to help when it comes to Drew! She warns that Drew will eventually turn against her.

Gio Visits Curtis

Giovanni Mazza as Gio on General Hospital.

In another wing of the hospital, Gio visits Curtis to see how he is holding up. Curtis reveals he is feeling much better, which unfortunately means he is being transferred back to Pentonville tomorrow.

Curtis asks about his music, noting Trina mentioned things are going great. He is happy that their musical collaboration remains on track, especially considering his grandfather is the reason Curtis ended up in a hospital bed in the first place. Gio carefully asks if there is any chance his grandfather was not behind the brutal assault.

While Gio does not want to overstep, he believes Curtis was framed and that someone made sure Curtis heard what they wanted him to hear. Curtis respects Gio for standing up for his family, but he maintains that his suspicions are correct. However, Curtis promises he will not mention Gio’s visit to Trina, knowing how special their musical connection is to her. Gio insists he has nothing to hide and is fine if Trina finds out.

Dante Fears Heartbreak for Gio

Following his visit with Curtis, Gio swings by Dante’s office. He thanks Dante for giving him space and not pressing him about the family drama. He assumes Dante heard that he officially moved out of Sonny’s place. Dante confirms he heard the news and admits how proud he is of Gio for facing the hard truth. “What if it’s not the truth?” Gio asks, leaving Dante stunned.

Joe Warns Lucas and Nina is Back

Back at the hospital, Joe drops by and is pulled aside by Lucas for a private chat. Joe worries Lucas is about to evict him from the apartment, but Lucas clarifies that his concern is actually about his aunt, Ava. Lucas warns Joe that someone has clearly given him the wrong impression about her!

Joe thinks it’s a major red flag since Ava came to her nephew. Joe warns Lucas that Ava was officially the last person seen with Brennan before he vanished. He confirms that this is now a full-fledged investigation.

Gio notes that Sonny swore to him he wasn’t behind the attack. While Gio believes Curtis truly heard what he heard, he strongly suspects someone is framing his grandfather to take the fall.

Still, Dante warns him that he needs to be careful. He deeply fears Gio’s heart will break when he eventually realizes that he is wrong about his grandfather.

Portia enters Curtis’ hospital room and admits she cannot believe he is actually letting Drew help him. Still, she agrees to put her feelings aside and support his efforts. However, she sets a firm boundary. Portia asks Curtis not to interfere in her relationship with Isaiah—and to allow Isaiah to be a part of their son’s life. Curtis agrees to her terms.

In the end, Ava calls Alexis and tells her that she owes her a favor and she is officially ready to collect.

Meanwhile, Baines gets the chance to see Nina and delivers a surprising update. He amits that the bureau may have rushed to judgment after all.
