Jude is Phoebe’s Father
In today’s October 30 recap of General Hospital, In today’s episode of General Hospital, Liz ends up with frosting on her face. Dante steps in and helps clean it up. Suddenly, the doorbell interrupts them.
Dante suggests that Liz stay home and relax. He offers to drop off the cupcakes at the community center instead. Soon after, the doorbell rings again. Liz assumes it is more trick-or-treaters. However, it turns out to be Lucas. As a result, Dante decides to take his leave. Once he exits, Lucas demands answers. He wants to know what is really going on between Liz and the police commissioner.
Liz tries to play it off. However, Lucas does not relent. Liz then opens up and makes a surprising confession. She explains that there was a brief moment when she wanted to kiss Dante.
Liz thinks the feeling was one-sided.
Danny Confesses to Finding Brennan’s Dead Body
Meanwhile, Carly and Valentin meet with Danny. Danny asks if they saw Outback when they drove up to the house. Carly and Valentin bypass the small talk. They need to ask him questions about the night Jack Brennan vanished. Danny claims he has no idea what they are talking about. However, Carly clears the air. She notes that she knows he and Charlotte were at the hotel that night.
Because of this, she asks if he saw anything suspicious. Danny confirms he did. “You two breaking into Drew’s office,” he confesses.
Carly assures him that he can trust her. In response, Danny notes that a lot happened that night. He adds that it does not just involve him. Later, Danny reveals that he and Charlotte decided to go for one last swim before summer ended. That is when they made a horrific discovery. Brennan’s lifeless body was floating in the pool!
Danny also reveals that he saw Ava and Drew that night. However, neither of them spotted him or Charlotte.
Just then, Danny hears a strange noise. He goes to investigate the sound. Outback wanders into the room, chewing on something.
Carly gasps in total horror. “Oh my God, is that a finger?” she asks.
Later, Carly and Valentin go searching for answers outdoors. Suddenly, they stumble upon a horrifying discovery. A lifeless hand is pushing its way right out of the ground!
Trina is Performing for an Audience of One
Elsewhere, Trina receives another delivery of flowers from her mystery fan. “Can’t wait to hear you sing tonight,” the note reads.
Just then, a sudden noise startles her. Fortunately, it is only Kai. He apologizes for scaring her. Shortly after, Gio and Emma arrive. Gio asks where Patty and the rest of the staff are. He wonders if they got the date wrong. Still, Trina assures them they have the right day.
Patty arrives, and the group seeks immediate clarity. They wonder who they will be performing for, given all the empty chairs. In response, Patty drops a bombshell. She explains that they will be performing for an audience of one.
The group tries to back out, but Patty reminds them about their signed contracts. Therefore, Emma suggests they should stay. Trina agrees. After all, it is time she meets her biggest fan. In fact, Trina reveals she discovered a fan site showing someone has been tracking her every move.
Gio thinks he should perform alone just to keep Trina safe. However, she insists on taking the stage right beside him.
Later, they give it their all during the performance. Throughout the song, they cast anxious glances around the empty room, waiting for her biggest fan to step out of the shadows.
As soon as the final note ends, Heather makes her grand entrance! She startles the entire crew with a sudden, echoing round of applause.
Jason Grills Josslyn
At the same time, Jason meets up with Josslyn. “Does your uncle Jerry have a son named Jude?” he asks.
Josslyn confirms, though she is surprised. She notes that everything she knows about him came from her dad. Jax warned her to stay away because Jude is just like Jerry. Then, Jason drops the real threat. Jude is in Port Charles, and he is after Phoebe!
Jason cannot help but wonder if Jude is just angling for a massive Quartermaine payout. Josslyn thinks she can dig up some solid intel on him. Therefore, she offers to check what the WSB has in their files. At the same time, she plans to reach out to her father for answers.
Jude Seeks Alexis’ Help
Meanwhile, Jude seeks legal help from Alexis. He reveals that Jerry is his father. He begs her not to condemn him for his father’s crimes. Instead, he asks her to hear him out first.
Alexis offers to get him a referral. However, Jude insists on hiring her. He wants her to represent him because his daughter is being kept from him by the Quartermaines. Furthermore, he states that Phoebe is his daughter.
Alexis stops him to set the record straight. She handled that adoption personally. On top of that, the father signed away his parental rights after taking a paternity test that was conclusive. Jude insists Phoebe is his and claims he has clinic records to prove it. Even so, Alexis cites her own evidence. She suggests Delilah lied about the IVF and got pregnant by another man.
“You mean Ethan Lovett?” Jude asks.
Alexis makes it clear that she cannot discuss Ethan. In response, Jude offers a quick solution. He suggests he can simply take a paternity test to prove he is telling the truth.
However, Alexis quickly shuts down that idea. She points out the huge legal hurdle in his way. To make that happen, Brook Lynn and Chase would have to willingly agree to the test.
Alexis begs him not to put Brook Lynn and Chase through that kind of emotional turmoil. However, Jude maintains his stubborn stance. Phoebe is his daughter, and he is going to get her back no matter what!
Ric Has Bad News for Lulu
Finally, Ric meets with Lulu and delivers bad news. His discussion with Alexis was unsuccessful. Still, Lulu insists he make the strongest case possible so she can win. Consequently, Ric warns her that she must prove everything Sidwell said is true. If she can get solid evidence, then this suit will never make it to court.
Later, Dante meets up with Lulu. He does not want to tell her how to run her life. Even so, he firmly believes she should retract her article. He warns her that this libel war is going too far. After all, it is no longer just harming Willow and her kids. In fact, it is collateral damage for Liz and Lucas, too.
Lulu respects his feelings. However, she makes it clear that her decision is final. She is sticking to her story!
