Joss Has News for Agent Baines!

On today’s episode of General Hospital, Joss walks into Chief Baines’ office at the Bureau. He tells her he is surprised she asked for the meeting.
“Has there been a development at JJE?” he asks. Joss wonders how she would know. She points out that he still hasn’t told her what the WSB wants with the company.

“Not that it matters anymore,” she adds. Baine asks why. Joss explains that a much better use of her time has come up.
“Oh, do tell,” Baine says, listening closely.

Joss Refuses to Resign
Joss wonders how she would know. She points out that he still hasn’t told her what the WSB wants with the company.
“Not that it matters anymore,” she adds.
When Baine asks why, Joss explains that a much better use of her time has come up.
“Oh, do tell,” Baine says, listening closely.
Joss explains that Sonny is still in the mob. He went to great lengths to convince everyone otherwise, but she knows better. She thinks he needs to be stopped. Her personal knowledge of him makes her the best person for the job.
Baines asks about her current assignment. She plans to stick to her original idea of signing JJE over to someone else. That way, the Bureau can assign another agent to the WSB task.
Baines thinks she makes an intriguing argument, but he insists she stick to her current task and stop trying to wiggle out of it. Joss believes Sonny is planning something big since he never pretended to go legit before. She also can’t ignore what Sidwell did to his family.
That’s why she won’t leave this alone. Baines reminds her to stay focused on her assignment. He makes it clear that the WSB isn’t a tool for her personal vendettas. He orders her to follow directives or resign. Joss informs him that she is not resigning.
Serena Officially Meets Jason
Over at the Quartermaines’, Jason answers the door to find Serena. She tells him she’s heard a lot about him, says she has a message, and stomps on his foot.
“Scott Baldwin says hello,” she says, before revealing that she’s Scott’s daughter.
Yuri Updates Tracy
She calls Jason out as the reason her father had to leave town. She then mentions she’s also there to meet with Tracy and Brook Lynn. Meanwhile, Yuri updates Tracy on what happened between Chase and Brook Lynn, noting it was a private moment between husband and wife. Tracy reminds him why she hired him.
Yuri agrees to keep her posted on Chase and Willow, but not Brook Lynn. He adds that both Brook Lynn and Chase left their conversation looking upset. He promises to snap a photo and send it to Tracy if he ever catches Chase and Willow in a compromising position. Hearing noises, Tracy begs Yuri to check on the falcons.
Jason walks in to explain that Serena is there to see her. Yuri hopes Jason can help convince Tracy to leave the nest alone before she heads over to greet Serena.
Serena wants to wait for Brook Lynn. However, Brook Lynn is clearly not coming, so Tracy suggests that she just leave the documents. Before leaving, Serena offers Tracy a suggestion: rather than destroying the falcon’s nest, she should move it. Serena then pretends to leave, but sneaks upstairs instead.
Jason is on a call trying to track down Vito when he hears a scream. When he checks it out, he finds Serena, who asks him for a little help.
Brook Lynn Lets Off Some Steam
Brook Lynn heads to the gym and runs into Hudson, who senses she’s in a bad mood. She admits she wanted to punch something and preferred it not be her husband. She explains that things have gotten really ugly. Hudson understands. He notes how bad things can get when a kid is involved, which makes Brook Lynn suspect he’s speaking from experience.
Later, Brook Lynn races in and apologizes for missing the meeting. She explains to her granny that she is finally facing the truth about Chase. Her husband made it clear that he has no interest in saving their marriage. Brook Lynn notes that she wants to do whatever it takes to keep her daughter with her.
Chase is Ready to Battle
Across town, Chase meets with Monet at the Metro Court Gardens today on General Hospital. He explains that his wife asked to move out with him, but he thinks it’s too big of a risk. Chase suspects it’s just a ploy to make him look like he abandoned his daughter down the line.
He held out hope they could work things out. However, once she floated the idea of getting their own place, he wondered what her true angle was. He points out that she broke his trust beyond repair. He then asks Monet to draw up a legal separation.
Willow and Britt Have a Talk
Across the room, Willow and Britt catch up. Willow points out they’ve never been close, so Britt suggests changing that. Willow looks over and spots Chase talking to Monet. She flashes back to her daydream of her and Chase in the steam room.
Britt asks if her cousin is okay. Willow claims she’s just stressed about her mother being in Steinmauer. Britt sees right through it and suggests Willow is tormented by living so close to the guy she’s still in love with. Willow turns the tables and brings up Jason, but Britt insists they’re over and weren’t meant to be.
“Don’t be too quick to shut the door,” Willow says. She admits she found love once and stupidly let it get away, then asks if Britt plans on being alone forever. Britt mentions dating apps, maintaining that true love just isn’t for her.
Monet leaves, promising to get the paperwork done for Chase. Britt sees this and takes off at the same time. Willow and Chase then lock eyes as they greet each other.
Chase invites Willow to sit with him. She does, and they start talking about the falcon’s nest at the Qs. Willow knows the birds aren’t the real reason Chase isn’t sleeping. Just then, Joss walks in and spots them together.
Chase tells her that she no longer has to keep her distance.
At the same time, Hudson arrives and meets with Joss, who gives him new orders.
Gio Updates Trina
Meanwhile, Gio checks in with Trina. He updates her on his talk with his granddad, who assured him he wasn’t behind the attack. Gio mentions watching his dad and granddad clash. This confused him, since Dante usually gives Sonny the benefit of the doubt.
This time, Dante wasn’t having it, even though Sonny maintained his innocence. Trina feels bad that Gio had to learn the truth about his granddad this way. Gio adds that he asked Sonny to protect Curtis from any further harm, and he believes Sonny’s promise to do so.
Gio points out everything Sonny has done for him. He has even been living in his house rent-free. However, he is planning to move out. It’s not a conversation he is looking forward to, but he knows he has to have it.
Justine Confronts Sonny
Finally, Justine confronts Sonny. She vows to find whoever attacked Curtis and Sidwell, even if it’s the last thing she does. She demands the truth.
“You’re wrong. I didn’t give an order to attack Sidwell,” he says.
Justine doesn’t buy it. She points out that the PCPD has footage of his men meeting. Sonny explains that while he met with Vito and sent him to Pentonville with a message, it wasn’t an order to attack Sidwell. Justine wants to hear that directly from Vito, but Sonny admits he can’t find him.
“How convenient,” she says.
Sonny counters that it’s actually inconvenient because someone is setting him up. When Justine asks who else could have done it, he doesn’t have an answer. She expresses how tough this situation is on her. She reminds him how much he hates Jenz Sidwell. Justine admits she fell for his lies hook, line, and sinker—but not anymore. Sonny begs her to look him in the eye and believe him, but Justine just can’t bring herself to do it.
“Whatever this was, it’s over,” she tells him.
Sonny tries convincing her one last time that he did not do it. He promises that he is not lying. Still, Justine refuses to believe him and walks away.
