Willow Meets with Monet

In today’s October 23 episode of General Hospital, Willow talks to Monet at the law office. Monet worries she might have been a bit too direct, but Willow cannot thank her enough for taking her on as a client and also for what she’s doing for Curtis.

Monet then asks why Alexis Davis was so opposed to her representing Willow, and Willow explains the situation. Monet completely understands. They go on to discuss the damaging accusations Lulu published in her article. “How does your ex-husband feel about those said accusations?” Monet asks.
Willow is not entirely sure, but she does not think he holds any ill will toward her. In fact, she claims he knows there is not a single word of truth in that article.
Liz Seeks Dante Advise

Meanwhile, Elizabeth turns to Dante for some solid advice. She mentions that Aiden applied for school after getting his GED without telling her or Lucky. Dante thinks Aiden is a kickass son, but Elizabeth wonders if she should really let him head to a foreign country all on his own.

He is barely 18, and she cannot imagine sending him off to navigate Paris by himself. Dante gently wonders if Elizabeth is actually more worried about her youngest child finally leaving the nest.
Elizabeth notes that she is simply not ready to have all three of her kids out of the house at the same time. Dante sympathetically shares his own experience from back when he had to move out and leave his mother on her own.
Elizabeth notes that her son is leaving in just four days, and she still has plenty of baking to do for Halloween. Dante cheerfully informs her that he is actually quite good at it and offers to pitch in. She happily agrees to accept his help!
Chase and Brook Lynn Go to Get a Divorce

Elsewhere, Chase and Brook Lynn board a plane to the Dominican Republic to get their divorce officially sorted out. Brook Lynn explains that she had no idea Ric was going to bring up Chase’s demotion during negotiations.
Chase adds that he did not sign up for some of the aggressive tactics his own lawyer brought up, either. He knows their marriage is coming to an end, but he assures her that he is not her enemy and never will be. Brook Lynn promises the exact same thing in return.
As Brook Lynn and Chase arrive in the Dominican Republic and prepare to sign the final paperwork, they are asked a crucial question: Do they really want to go through with this divorce?
Monet and Ric Go Toe to Toe
Elsewhere, Lulu and Ric talk strategy regarding the high-stakes case. All Lulu wants is to win, which suits Ric just fine. To achieve that end, Ric suggests they pay Willow a direct visit.
Over at Miller & Davis, Ric and Lulu show up for a high-stakes meeting. Ric notes that they want to give Willow one final chance to drop the lawsuit. He agrees that his client will refrain from publishing any additional material.
However, if Willow refuses to withdraw the suit, they are going straight to court—and Ric promises it will not end well for her if they do. Monet strongly assures them that her client has no intention of dropping the suit. She points out that Sidwell was not lucid when Lulu interviewed him, but Ric begs to differ, revealing they have an audio recording that proves otherwise.
Monet remains confident the recording will support their defense, especially since the key person involved, Drew, is publicly claiming the entire story is false.
Monet demands two million dollars in damages, noting they will only settle if Lulu issues a complete retraction. However, Ric and Lulu flat-out refuse to take the deal. Monet fires back with a serious threat, warning that if it is not done, Lulu can kiss her journalism career goodbye!
In the end, none of them budge!
Ava Wants to Move Brennan’s Body

At the same time, Ava informs Drew that Detective Joe questioned her about being seen with Brennan last week. She is deeply worried that whoever identified her might have also caught her slipping a pill into Brennan’s drink.

Drew reminds her that he personally disabled the security cameras at the Metro Court that night, meaning nobody can find any video evidence against her. Drew notes that they are in this together as a team and asks Ava what she thinks they should do next. “For starters, we should move Brennan’s body,” she announces.
However, Drew thinks they need to do nothing.
Sonny Begs Jason to Do Him a Favor

Across town, Sonny tells Jason it is very possible that Josslyn was the one who framed him. He cannot help but notice how everyone suddenly turned against him. “It’s exactly what she wants,” he adds. Sonny just wants Jason to go talk to Josslyn and find out whatever information he can.

Meanwhile, Hudson tells Josslyn he wants to find out what Sonny is really after and what he plans to do to get it. Josslyn warns him that people who get in Sonny’s way have a nasty habit of disappearing.

Hudson does not think anything like that will happen to him in the middle of a nice restaurant, so he decides to go anyway. However, he advises her that if she does not hear back from him within an hour, she should immediately alert her contacts at the WSB.
Hudson Meets with Sonny
Meanwhile, Hudson meets with Sonny and tells him he was surprised to receive his invitation. Sonny then asks him how he likes working alongside Josslyn.
Sonny warns that when Jax is finished tanning, he is going to return and find out what his daughter is doing with his company—and he will not be too happy about it. Hudson points out that Sonny and Jax are hardly best friends themselves. Sonny agrees, but firmly warns Hudson not to end up on his bad side.
Hudson wonders what Sonny actually wants from him, asking if Sonny is planning to pay him to leave town. But Sonny explains that is not the case at all. Instead, he reveals that he wants Hudson to stay right where he is.
He wants Hudson to keep Joss focused on her dad’s goals for the company.
Jason Questions Josslyn

Jason shows up to see Josslyn. She assumes he heard about the auction, but he explains that is not why he is there. Instead, he asks her point-blank if she framed Sonny for ordering the beatdown on Sidwell while in Pentonville.
“Are you really asking me if I had Trina’s dad beaten?” she asks in disbelief. Jason knows she would never do that to Trina’s father, but Sidwell is a completely different story. Still, Josslyn cannot believe that Jason is actually entertaining Sonny’s wild theory.
Josslyn adamantly assures Jason that she had nothing to do with framing Sonny. She cannot help but wonder why Jason is ignoring the obvious facts right in front of him. Jason reveals that Sonny swore he did not order the attack, and Jason believes him. In fact, he admits he believes Josslyn, too. Realizing they are both telling the truth, Josslyn looks at him and asks, “So, who is responsible for what happened at Pentonville?”
Josslyn makes it clear that even if Sonny is not responsible for this setup, she has no intention of easing up on him. Jason notes that he has done just as many bad things as Sonny over the years, wondering why she does not hate him as much. She points out that Jason has saved her life more times than she can count, adding that from the very moment he became her godfather, he always had her back.
