Monet Has Bad News for Curtis

In today’s October 26 episode recap of General Hospital, Monet stops by the hospital to check on Curtis. He tells her that it feels great to finally be up and out of bed, before asking if there is any update on his case. “I’ve just been informed they are sending you back to Pentonville tomorrow,” she reveals.

Monet asks the guard for privacy so she can speak with her client. Curtis admits that once the possibility of transferring to Spring Ridge fell through, he knew it was only a matter of time before he would be sent back to Pentonville.

However, he is certainly not looking forward to it. Monet promises to do everything in her power to get him released. She adds that she managed to get Drew Cain on the phone and will be meeting with him soon to go over the details.

Jason Has a Suggestion for Danny

At the Quartermaine stables, Jason checks in on Danny and admits he is proud of him for taking his punishment so seriously. Danny acknowledges that working at the stables is a lot of hard work, but he knows he must face the consequences of his actions. Jason asks how he would feel if Rocco came by to help out.

He reminds his son of their deep friendship. He notes that since they grew up together, they should not throw that bond away over a feud. Jason then receives a phone call from Yuri, who warns him that Drew has snuck onto the property.

Later, when Rocco arrives, Danny tells him it is too late. Rocco asks what it is too late for, and Danny reveals that their fathers want them to work together to repair their friendship. Shortly after, Scout arrives at the stables. Danny wonders what she is doing there, and Scout explains that she is meeting him for dinner since her father will not find out.

Scout wonders if her brother does not want to see her. Danny clarifies that is not the case at all, but warns her that her father is currently on the property. Rocco thinks Scout should stay hidden so Drew does not spot her.

Danny Sees Rocco and Scout Kissing

Once Danny steps away to attend to something else, Scout confides in Rocco that she almost gave away the real reason she was there—to see him.

Rocco points out that they need to be much more careful moving forward because they cannot risk her father finding out about their secret romance. He reassures her that no matter what happens, nothing will ever change the way they feel about each other, though it could severely impact how often they get to see one another. That is when Rocco drops a shocker: her dad is considering sending her away to boarding school!

Scout admits she doesn’t want to go. She cannot imagine leaving him behind. Rocco agrees. They kiss, just as Danny returns to catch them.

Willow and Drew Strike a Deal

Meanwhile, Drew sneaks in to see Willow. She is shocked to see him. He tells her she should be happy he showed up. Drew claims he is there to help since Lulu’s explosive article could get her into serious trouble. “Yeah, right,” Willow scoffs.

Drew reminds Willow that as much as they loathe each other, they are on the same side in this fight. He thinks Lulu should come forward and admit she has no hard evidence to back up her claim. “What are you proposing?” Willow asks.

Drew suggests issuing a joint statement declaring Lulu’s article completely untrue. While Drew offers to draw up the statement, Willow insists it should come directly from her office. She points out that it will carry more clout coming from a congresswoman. “So, we have a deal?” Drew asks right as Jason walks in!

Later on, after Drew exits, Jason issues a warning to Willow against allowing Drew anywhere on the property. Jason warns that any contact with Drew could severely damage her chances of ever reaching a truce with Michael. He promises that if she agrees, he will make sure she and the Qs get along. But if she makes it hard, they will make it hard back on her.

Meanwhile, Drew meets with Curtis and his lawyer, Monet, over at the hospital. Monet outlines their legal strategy, which involves going public to highlight Curtis’s heroism. While Drew likes the overall approach, he firmly insists that Aurora Media cannot be involved in the plan.

Drew suggests calling in a favor from Kevin Buchanan to publish the story in The Banner instead. Curtis agrees with the idea. Drew reiterates that he should not be sitting in a prison cell and that Sonny should pay.

Brook Lynn and Chase Get a Divorce

Amanda Setton as Brook Lynn on General Hospital

Over in the Dominican Republic, Chase and Brook Lynn sit down to face the harsh reality of their marriage. “I don’t want to get a divorce,” Chase admits. “Me neither,” Brook Lynn confesses. However, as painful as it is, both of them end up signing on the dotted line. After finalizing the paperwork, they agree to handle everything amicably for the sake of their daughter.

Later, Chase sits on a beach, while Brook Lynn boards a flight back to Port Charles. After reflecting on their life together, the two take off their wedding rings in their respective locations.

Lulu and Carly Clash

At dinner, Valentin tells Carly how much he loves having a quiet night out together. Carly responds that they could have many more nights like this if he would just give up his obsession with buying Wyndemere. Their conversation turns to Charlotte, just as Lulu walks over and notes that she has not been hearing much from her daughter lately.

Valentin admits it has been the same for him, though he reveals Carly has been getting more of a response from her. Carly explains that it is just brief text messages about school, but Lulu demands to see her phone. When Carly refuses to hand it over, Lulu and her clash. Just then, Tracy walks in and interrupts. She tells Lulu it is time for their scheduled dinner date.

Sitting together, Lulu and Tracy discuss the case, as well as Willow and her lawyer demanding a full retraction. Tracy smiles, admitting she cannot wait to get a front-row seat to watch Ric completely dismantle Willow on the witness stand!

Lulu admits to Tracy that she is genuinely worried she will not be able to prove her allegations against Willow are true. She adds that Ric warned her that her chances of winning in court are not looking good.

Tracy wonders what they can possibly do to improve her odds. Lulu thinks that if she can uncover hard evidence that the WSB possesses a specific paralytic drug, it could completely turn her case around. Tracy suggests speaking with someone close to Brennan since he is currently nowhere to be found. While Lulu really does not want to approach Carly, she realizes it may be her absolute best option.

Lulu Asks Carly and Valentin for Help

When Lulu returns to the table, Carly immediately warns that it might not be a smart idea for her to stick around. She emphasizes that nobody wants round two of their argument. However, Lulu points out that she is not there to start a fight. Instead, she thinks it is possible they might actually be able to help her build her defense.

Valentin agrees to help Lulu. He promises to reach out to a contact and see what information he can dig up regarding the drug.

However, as soon as Lulu walks away, Carly reminds Valentin that they already know all about the paralytic drug, so they could simply tell Lulu what is really going on right now.

Valentin refuses to do that. He makes it clear that exposing the truth would end up being catastrophic for Nina, and that is a risk he is simply not willing to take. He, however, has a better idea.

All along, Valentin was convinced that Brennan had simply assumed a new identity and was living a quiet life somewhere under the radar. However, recent developments are forcing him to completely reconsider everything he thought he knew. Now, he cannot help but wonder if a far more sinister fate took place—and if someone did away with Jack Brennan.
