Justine Mentions Her Big News
On today’s episode of General Hospital, Sonny and Justine run into each other at the Brown Dog while waiting to meet a friend. Justine sits down with Jordan, who raises a glass to finally being able to talk about all the legal drama hanging over their heads.
Transitioning to business, Justine explains why there won’t be charges levied against Brook Lynn. Jordan agrees that taking this to court is hardly worth the taxpayers’ money. She adds that it wasn’t entirely Brook Lynn’s fault that things spiraled out of control. Now that everything is out in the open, she thinks it’s best to just move forward.
Justine then mentions that Robert is stepping down as DA and she plans to run for the position. Jordan is in full support. Still, Justine wonders if her friend is really ready to jump out and advocate for her publicly. Jordan assures her that she is. However, Jordan warns her to celebrate every small victory. Her opponents will dig up any dirt they can find. Justine isn’t worried. “They won’t find anything,” she notes.
Jason and Sonny Catch Up
Meanwhile, Sonny sits with Jason, who opens up about a friend being in trouble. However, he avoids going into detail. When Britt walks in, Sonny quickly puts two and two together. “If that’s her, I get it,” Sonny tells his pal.
Jason admits he thought he and Britt finally had a shot to make things work this time. Ultimately, he realized something important. Even without all the outside obstacles, he still couldn’t give Britt what she really wants.
Jason sees the text from Danny and leaves to go meet his son. Meanwhile, Jordan gets a notification and notes that things are going to take a while. Justine decides to head out, and Sonny follows right behind her.
“You waiting for me?” he asks when he encounters her outside.He reminds her that this is not there first run-in outside of the Brown Dog. “This is where you first kiss me,” she notes. He suggests he could jog her memory. As they are kissing, Jordan comes out and sees everything.
Tracy Gives Danny a Reminder
Over at the Quartermaine stables, Danny is cleaning up when Tracy walks in. He assumes he can leave once he finishes. Tracy warns that he is in far more trouble than he realizes.
She reminds him of the mess he’s in. She also stresses how much he actually means to her. Tracy adds that she can see his true potential. She isn’t going to sit back and watch another Quartermaine squander their gifts.
Tracy suggests to Danny that he should make a confession to Jason. Taking her advice, Danny texts his dad and asks to meet up.
Anna Faces Britt
At the gym, Anna, Emma, and Felicia are working out when Britt walks in. Her presence instantly raises the tension in the room. “Don’t shoot,” Britt says. Anna greets her, leading Britt to ask if she is going to finish the job. Emma immediately lashes out, but Anna steps in to stop her. She admits she can’t blame Britt for feeling on edge around her.
Emma excuses herself to get some water, and Britt follows to offer a warning of her own. She tells Emma that once her life has been put at risk like hers was, then she can complain about jokes being made toward the person who pointed a gun at her. Britt also reminds Emma that she chose not to press charges. As the two start bickering, Anna interrupts. She asks Emma to rejoin Felicia so she can speak with Britt alone.
Anna apologizes to Britt. She admits she was no better and instead just pretended to be. Moving forward, she wants nothing more than to make amends for what she did.
Britt appreciates the apology. She admits she knows Anna was not in control that night. Anna thanks her for choosing not to press charges, and Britt feels they can finally call it even. Anna agrees. However, she reminds Britt that her father did just as much damage to her as he did to Anna.
Valentin Makes the Rules
At Carly’s office, Valentin is stunned to learn what his daughter did. “Why did you break into Drew’s car?” he asks. Charlotte claims it was just a prank, but Carly shuts that down immediately. She warns that Charlotte won’t be able to keep this secret for long. “Tell your father, or I will,” she notes. Valentin wonders if Danny put her up to it. Charlotte insists that isn’t the case before explaining her plan.
Once Carly steps out to give them space, Charlotte promises her dad that she will do better next time. Valentin makes it clear there won’t be a next time. Charlotte explains she was just trying to help Danny and thought she had everything under control.
Valentin counters that she had nothing under control. He warns her about the dangerous outcomes if Drew had caught her inside his car. “Damn it, why can’t you admit you put your life at risk?” he exclaims. Charlotte argues she did nothing he wouldn’t do himself. Still, Valentin reminds her that she willingly threw herself into a dangerous situation. “Well, that ends now!” he yells.
Valentin wants to take Charlotte’s phone. He plans to track her location 24/7. He also tells her that she can never see Danny again. Charlotte is furious and notes that he is not to be blamed.
Scout and Rocco
Meanwhile, Scout and Rocco discuss how nice it is to lean on each other. However, Rocco wishes she didn’t have to lie to her dad about it. He suggests they stop sneaking around, but Scout explains why she couldn’t risk her dad finding out. To cover her tracks, she made him think she was hanging out with Danny instead. The two go in for a kiss just as Rocco’s phone goes off. Realizing he is late for dinner with his parents, Rocco promises to text Scout and rushes off.
Lulu Opens up to Dante
At the Metro Court Gardens, Dante meets with Lulu to talk about Rocco and how much they trust their son. Switching gears, Lulu asks if he has any comment on Nina being dragged away by the WSB. Dante stays quiet. He then mentions his recent experience with yoga. He notes that Liz suggested it might help lower his heart rate. Dante thinks it’s actually working because he feels good.
When Carly walks by, Lulu signals to her. She mentions how much her daughter is looking forward to going to the opera with Carly and Valentin. Carly acknowledges it briefly before walking off. Lulu notes that things between her and her cousin have been tense lately. No amount of yoga is going to fix it. Dante takes the opportunity to remind her that she is a good mother. Lulu responds that Rocco’s curfew grace period is officially up.
Rocco arrives and apologizes for being late.
Carly Turns to Molly
Across the way, Carly sits down with Molly and asks if she has spoken with Scout recently. “Not really,” Molly notes. Carly asks for Molly’s help, explaining Charlotte’s plan to throw herself at Drew. She knows Drew will assume Danny was behind it.
Therefore, she thinks it’s best if Drew never finds out what really happened. Molly points out that Scout is extremely protective of her dad. Even if she doesn’t like some of the things he’s done, she still loves him. Hearing this, Carly suggests they need to find a way to make sure Scout keeps quiet about the whole thing.
Molly meets with Scout. She tells her niece that Carly filled her in on what happened with Charlotte. To that end, Molly suggests that it is best if Drew never finds out about the situation. Scout agrees. She thinks there are a lot of things that he’s better off not knowing.
