Chase Stuns Brook Lynn
On today’s episode of General Hospital, Hudson arrives at the Quartermaine mansion. Brook Lynn is genuinely grateful for his help. He notes that he was supposed to meet up with Josslyn, but she changed her plans at the last minute.
Still, he is happy with the outcome since it gives him more time to spend with Phoebe. Later, Brook Lynn invites him to play a game of peek-a-boo. Right as they are playing, Chase walks in and catches them. Hudson decides to leave to give the couple some privacy. Brook Lynn wonders if Chase came to visit Phoebe, but he quickly drops a bombshell.
“Actually, I’ve moved back in,” he announces.
She asks if this was his own idea or his lawyer’s, and he admits it was the latter. Brook Lynn is not happy he moved back in to position himself for custody.
Michael Seeks Joss’s Assistance
Meanwhile, at the Metro Court Gardens, Michael meets up with Josslyn. He informs her that now that she is a big-shot CEO, he needs her to stay on the Quartermaine property.
Specifically, he wants another set of eyes on Willow and Chase. He lays out the plan for Brook Lynn to gain full custody of Phoebe, but Josslyn pushes back. She wonders if this extreme plan is actually necessary. Furthermore, she points out that his cousin is in love with Chase, so pulling this off would destroy her marriage.
Even so, Michael sticks to his guns. Josslyn warns him that he is starting to sound a lot like Drew, and she firmly tells her brother to stay out of it. Finally, she reminds him that he would be ruining baby Phoebe’s happiness—not just Chase’s.
Sonny and Justine Make a Decision
Elsewhere, Sonny and Justine discuss getting caught by Jordan. Sonny reminds her that mistakes happen, but moving forward, they just need to be more careful.
Fortunately, Jordan is no longer in law enforcement. Justine adds that it is equally good that Sonny is no longer a mob boss. However, she makes it clear that their setup can only continue if she doesn’t get hurt professionally or emotionally. Sonny reassures her that she has nothing to worry about.
They agree to continue seeing each other in private!
Jordan and Monet Have a Tense Catch Up
As for Jordan, she has a tense run-in with her sister, Monet. Monet can’t stop staring at Jordan’s scars, even speculating that Jordan might have brought them on herself for attention. Jordan asks how long her sister plans to stay in town, and Monet reveals that she has officially moved to Port Charles.
In fact, she secured a job as an attorney at Miller & Davis. Jordan finds the timing suspicious and doubts it’s a coincidence that Monet settled in the exact same city. Monet quickly shuts her down, assuring her that the world doesn’t revolve around her.
Later, after taking note of the tense interaction as Monet walks off, Michael approaches Jordan. She wryly informs him that nobody knows how to get under your skin quite like a sister.
Meanwhile, Hudson meets up with Josslyn. He fills her in on his time over at the Quartermaines, including the unexpected moment when Chase showed up.
Sidwell is Attacked in Prison
Over at Pentonville, Sidwell is resting in his cell when Curtis walks in.
“Hello, roomie,” he says.
Curtis immediately tells Sidwell that they need to get to the warden right away. He explains that another inmate warned him to stay out of the cell, which means a strike against Sidwell is imminent. Sidwell appreciates the warning and offers to pay Curtis handsomely to watch his back, but Curtis hesitates.
He insists he only spoke up because he wants no part of the violence. If Sidwell refuses to go into protective custody, he’s on his own. Later, once Curtis is gone, a group of men corner Sidwell in his cell. Desperate, Sidwell begs them to come work for him instead of the person who sent them.
“Yeah, let’s get this done,” one of the men mutters, glancing at another inmate. They beat Sidwell to a pulp but Curtis comes and tells them enough is enough. One of guys note because he didn’t heed the warning, they’ve got a problem.
They also attack Curtis, and before leaving they reveal this was done on Sonny Corinthos’ orders.
Carly Advises Valentin
Over at Carly’s house, Valentin opens up about what happened with Charlotte. He admits that while it breaks his heart, he sees no other choice: Charlotte can no longer live with him. He believes it’s time to send her to boarding school. However, he wants to hide what Charlotte tried to do to Drew from Lulu. Carly warns him that keeping secrets from Lulu is a massive mistake. Instead, she urges him to team up with her.
“Tell her the whole truth, even if it makes her right,” Carly says.
Rocco and Charlotte Clash
Finally, down at the Quartermaine boathouse, Charlotte lashes out at Rocco for completely ruining her life. Rocco reminds her that her scheme was terrible from the start, insisting he was only trying to protect her. Charlotte refuses to hear it, claiming he only stepped in to look good in front of Scout.
Lulu Gets Shocking News
Around the same time, Jason drops by Lulu’s house, and the two talk about Danny and Charlotte. Lulu worries that the two kids bring out the worst in each other. When Valentin arrives, Jason steps out to give them privacy.
Valentin announces that they need to address the situation with Danny and Charlotte right away. Lulu asks what changed, so Valentin reveals what their daughter did—adding that the only silver lining is that Drew didn’t catch her. Lulu wonders out loud if something inappropriate is actually going on between her daughter and the former congressman, but Valentin reassures her that isn’t the case.
Ultimately, Lulu agrees to keep the incident quiet. Valentin adds that they must keep their daughter away from Drew… and Danny Morgan. He thinks there best option is sending Charlotte to boarding school! Later, Lulu calls Rocco and asks him to bring his sister home, it’s important. Charlotte arrives and is surprised to see her dad. Immediately she realizes he must have told her mom about what she did.
After leaving Lulu’s, Jason head straight over to Carly’s to fill her in on their conversation about Danny and Charlotte.
