Jason Meets with Sonny
On today’s episode of General Hospital, Jason meets with Ric and Sonny. Sonny brings him up to speed on what happened to Sidwell and Curtis. He wonders aloud if Jason had a hand in it. Jason clears the air immediately. He confirms he had nothing to do with it.
Sonny explains that he sent Vito with a message to Sully. He hoped to ensure his own protection if anything happened to Sidwell. That way, no one could point fingers at him. Vito has suddenly gone missing, so Sonny suspects a betrayal. Ric steps in and suggests someone paid Vito off. He notes that since Sonny went legitimate, his men might not be earning as much as before. Hearing this, Jason decides to hunt down Vito himself.
At the same time, Ric points out that Curtis’ statement is what put Sonny in the hot seat.
“We need to take care of Curtis,” Sonny says.
Sonny thinks Ric should talk to Curtis. He wants Ric to explain that Sonny wasn’t behind the attack. Ric should also let him know Sonny is actively searching for the person who set him up. Ric promises to do his best. Meanwhile, Jason questions whether he made a mistake by leaving. Sonny assures him he did the right thing for his son.
Danny and Rocco Fight
Down at the boathouse, Rocco and Danny clash over what happened to Charlotte. Danny makes it clear he only reached out to Rocco because he needed help. He adds that he will never make that mistake again. Rocco fires back. He notes that Charlotte would never have gotten dragged into this mess if it weren’t for Danny.
“Someone had to care what happened to Charlotte, because clearly you didn’t,” Rocco exclaims.
Rocco tells him he is glad Charlotte is away at boarding school. He adds that if Danny’s mom were still alive, she would have sent him away too. Furious, Danny punches Rocco. Rocco hits him right back, sparking a full-on brawl.
“Stay away from me and everyone in my family. And don’t you ever mention my mom again,” an angry Danny warns as he walks off.
Scout Seeks Alexis’ Advice
Meanwhile, Scout meets with her grandmother Alexis for some legal advice. She fills her in on what Charlotte tried to do and asks if Charlotte could be prosecuted. Alexis explains that Charlotte is a minor. She also notes that Charlotte never actually went through with the plan. Alexis understands why Scout is upset. However, she reminds her that people make mistakes and suggests giving Charlotte another chance. Scout insists she can’t.
“Poor Rocco, he has to have her as his sister,” she adds.
Alexis genuinely believes Charlotte wasn’t acting out of malice. She feels Charlotte was simply trying to help Scout and Danny. While her actions were wrong, she was only trying to fix a problem Drew created.
“So what are you saying? We should blame the victim?” Scout asks her grams.
Alexis explains that when people are pushed too far, they retaliate. Scout counters that her grams has always hated her dad. She concludes it was a mistake to come to her in the first place.
Danny Tells Sonny and Jason About the Fight
Later, a beaten-up Danny visits Sonny. Sonny immediately notices he has been in a fight. Danny admits he got into a major brawl with Rocco.
Jordan is Baffled
Over at the hospital, Jordan is baffled. She can’t wrap her head around why Sonny would do this, especially since he is supposed to be out of the mob. Curtis clarifies that Sidwell was the real target. He just happened to get caught in the crossfire. Curtis reveals he was warned to stay out of his cell. However, he couldn’t just stand by and watch those men beat Sidwell to death.
Fearing Sonny will try to silence Curtis, Jordan suggests moving him to Springridge. Curtis turns down the transfer. He hopes the warden will simply reassign him to a different cell away from Sidwell. Jordan promises that Sonny will pay for what he has done.
When Ric later arrives at the hospital, Curtis immediately reads the room. He knows Ric is there on Sonny’s behalf. Curtis warns that Ric can tell Sonny to take his regrets straight to hell. Ric makes it clear that this was not Sonny’s doing. Someone set him up.
Curtis doesn’t believe it. He begs Ric to tell Sonny that he will not be retracting his statement. On top of that, he refuses to forgive whoever put him in this position.
Molly Seeks Michael’s Advice
Across town, Molly tracks down Michael. She needs his help to be a better aunt before she “seriously screws up Scout’s life.” Molly mentions Charlotte’s crazy stunt that got her shipped off to boarding school. She notes that Carly was the one who brought the incident to her attention. Molly wants to keep Drew in the dark. Still, she worries whether she did the right thing by asking Scout to lie to her father.
“Maybe. Maybe not,” Michael replies.
He reminds her that Drew isn’t a normal dad—or a normal human. He stresses that this isn’t a normal situation. Michael reassures Molly that she made the right call and tells her to stop feeling so guilty. On her way out, Molly tells Michael he is surprisingly good at giving advice. She adds that while she misses Kristina, he is a great stand-in.
Michael Has Big News for Jordan
Soon after, Jordan returns to Aurora and informs Michael about her trip to the hospital. She lays the blame for what happened to Curtis squarely on Sonny. Michael doesn’t believe it. He knows his father is out of the business. Jordan, however, is not so sure. She wants to have Curtis moved to Springridge. Michael thinks Jordan should let the lawyer handle that, because she has to be in Germany.
Jordan notes that Curtis takes priority over her flying out for a deal. Michael explains that this isn’t about the deal. He tells her he spoke to the specialist in Germany about her scars. Since this is time-sensitive, she needs to go see him next week.
Fresh off her talk with Michael, Molly swings by Miller & Davis to catch up with her mom about their conversation.
Ava and Drew Set Up Sonny
Finally, Ava visits Drew. He updates her on the chaos in Pentonville. Ava says that is exactly what they wanted.
“Seems like everything is going according to plan,” she says.
Drew points out that Curtis was hurt in the crossfire. This prompts Ava to lash out.
“This is not how it was supposed to go down, Drew! What did you tell Sonny’s man to do?”
Drew reminds her the whole scheme was her idea in the first place. He argues that it actually worked out in their favor. He reasons that if the accusation had only come from Sidwell, people might have doubted it. However, with Curtis naming Sonny, far more people will believe it.
Vito comes to see them. They want him to go out of town.
Later, they step outside, and Vito promises that no one in Port Charles will ever hear from him again. Meanwhile, Scout—who just called Rocco to tell him about her fight with her grams—spies on them and overhears the exchange between her dad, Ava, and Vito.
