On today’s episode of General Hospital, Jason visits Anna. He makes her a cup of tea. Shortly after, the doorbell rings.

“You got this,” Jason says. It’s Dante at the door.

Anna thanks Dante for coming. She asks him to take her gun and badge into custody. She warns him that she isn’t fit to serve.

Next, she tells him about last night’s incident. Anna admits she hasn’t been completely honest about the whole ordeal. She confesses that she is unwell. She worked hard to hide it, but the secret is taking a heavy toll.

Dante gets it. He recalls his own stint with the WSB and how it stayed with him.

Because of this, Anna volunteers to go back into therapy. She steps away from her police duties and asks Dante to take over as police commissioner. She also warns him that he might hear from Britt soon. If Britt reaches out, he must do his job no matter who is involved. Dante assures Anna that he has her back, just like she always had his.

Jason Confirms the News for Joss

Meanwhile, Jason meets Joss at the boathouse. Joss reveals that Britt showed up at her apartment. Britt claimed Anna tried to kill her. Joss thought it was a lie, but Jason confirms the story is true. He doesn’t think Anna would have gone through with it. Still, he is glad he stepped in when he did. Joss agrees.

Joss also considers herself lucky. Cassius was the one who captured her. She notes that he never actually tried to hurt her.

However, Jason points out that isn’t what the WSB reported.

Joss then explains that she lied. She decided to back up their narrative in exchange for a favor. Consequently, Jason suddenly realizes that she is the one who secured his release.

However, Joss could neither confirm nor deny that claim. She begs him to help her decide what to do about Anna. He promises to understand whatever she decides to do, but only she can make that decision.

Chase Brings Joe Up to Speed

Over at the station, Joe is surprised to see Chase. He assumed Chase was taking the day off. Chase is off, but he needed to drop off some crucial news first. He tells Joe that he can close the book on the Ashford accident. Chase found the other driver. It turns out to be his wife.

Dante arrives and brings the guys up to speed. He explains that he is taking over for Anna again as she takes a leave of absence.

Next, Dante notes that he wants to talk to Chase. He heard from Ned and Olivia that Brook Lynn was the other driver.

Meanwhile, Chase is not happy that he had to sleep at the Metro Court. He misses his daughter, calling her his best alarm clock. However, when it comes to Brook Lynn, he doesn’t know if he can ever look at her the same way again.

Alexis is Brook Lynn’s Lawyer

At the Quartermaine estate, Alexis meets with Ned. She is there to represent Brook Lynn while Diane is away.

Brook Lynn enters the room. She is shocked to learn they hired a lawyer for her. Tracy bluntly notes that Brook Lynn needs legal counsel if she wants to stay out of prison.

Alexis reminds Brook Lynn that she admitted to the accident in front of several witnesses. They need to get ahead of the story before it spirals. Brook Lynn agrees.

Later, Justine arrives, and Alexis brings her up to speed. Justine interjects, noting that she can see where this is going. She asks when Brook Lynn realized that someone else was hurt.

Since Brook Lynn’s story corroborates Jordan and Curtis’ account, Justine agrees to file the necessary paperwork.

Justine offers to show herself out. However, before she leaves, she hits Brook Lynn with a heavy reality check. She lists everything that happened simply because Brook Lynn kept a secret.

She points out that while Brook Lynn isn’t directly at fault for the fight, Curtis will still spend at least the next two years in prison. He assaulted a man he believed was responsible for the crash. All the while, Brook Lynn knew the truth.

Brook Lynn decides to leave anyway. She insists that at the very least, she owes Trina, Curtis, and Jordan a sincere apology.

Tracy tries to stop her, but Brook Lynn insists she has to go.

“Go, I’ll deal with your grandmother,” Ned tells his daughter.

Before Alexis leaves, Tracy asks her to handle her granddaughter’s divorce.

Meanwhile, Ned shows up at the police station. He invites Chase to go with him to save his marriage.

At the same time, Brook Lynn shows up at Trina’s place to have a word with her.

Gio Visits Trina

At the same time, Trina fumes over the truth about Brook Lynn. Gio stops by and asks how she is holding up. Trina admits she is doing terrible. She can’t focus because she feels angry and disappointed in his mom. Trina knows her dad is responsible for his own choices. Even so, she feels a lot of pain could have been avoided if Brook Lynn had just come forward sooner.

Emma Clashes with Britt

Finally, at the hospital, Emma talks with Felicia. Felicia reassures her that Anna is in the best possible hands. Still, Emma remains emotional. She struggles with the fact that her grandmother almost took a life last night.

In another room, Britt tells Lucas about being nearly killed and buried. She details Anna’s attack in the woods.

“The woman is unhinged,” Britt notes. She adds that she is grateful Jason saved her life.

Emma knows the situation is no longer in her grandmother’s hands, so she approaches Britt to talk. Britt immediately shuts her down.

“Anna Devane needs to be locked up,” Britt says, warning Emma if this is about her psycho grandmother.

Emma apologizes for what happened and acknowledges how terrifying it must have been. She begs Britt to find some compassion for Anna after everything she has been through. Britt refuses to budge. She wants Anna to pay.

Emma reminds Britt that her own record isn’t squeaky clean. Felicia steps in, too. She reminds Britt that people have given her chance after chance, including the one she has right now. Because of that, she could at least show a little empathy. With that, Felicia takes Emma and leaves.

Lucas and Britt go into the exam room. Britt is furious that no one seems to care that Anna held her at gunpoint. Lucas reminds her that she makes it hard for people to care about her sometimes.

Anna Apologizes

At the same time, Anna arrives and assures Emma that she is going to do the work to be okay again.

Later, while waiting for the doctor, Anna apologizes to Felicia for deceiving her. Anna admits she shouldn’t have left the facility yet.

However, Felicia reassures her, noting that Anna’s judgment was simply impaired. After their talk, Dr. Nichols arrives and invites Anna to go with her to her office.

Meanwhile, Emma meets with Gio. He mentions that he went to see Trina.

However, Emma drops some startling news. She reveals that her grandmother almost killed someone last night.
