Anna Fires the Gun
On today’s episode of General Hospital, Jason tries to stop Anna from shooting Britt. Peter is right there in her head, pushing her to pull the trigger. Britt and Jason quickly realize something is wrong, and Jason tries to talk Anna down. But Anna insists, “I can’t live like this anymore.”
With Peter’s voice still urging her on, Anna says she has to do it, claiming they are just like their fathers. She fires the gun just as Jason jumps in front to shield Britt. Anna breaks down in tears, and so does Britt. Thankfully, everyone is okay. Jason takes the gun and tells Britt, “Britt, go,” while Anna collapses in his arms.
Anna asks Jason how he knew to show up when he did. He explains that he just had a hunch. Anna is deeply grateful he stepped in, acknowledging that Britt would be dead if he hadn’t arrived in time. She opens up to Jason about Peter. Seeing how shaken she is, he offers to take her home to Emma.
Emma Supports Gio
Gio opens up to Emma about everything that went down. He can’t fathom what his mother did, feeling she had every reason to come clean instead of watching a bad situation get worse. Emma points out how much has changed over the past year.
She tells him she would hate to see him throw away all the progress he and Brook Lynn made as mother and son. Emma mentions how much she misses her own mom every day, reminding him that if the roles were reversed, he wouldn’t tell her to turn her back on family. She advises him to do the same. Gio agrees with Emma, realizing he can’t run from this situation. He decides he needs to face his mother head-on.
Later, Jason arrives with Anna. Emma wonders if everything is okay. Anna tells Jason she will take things from here. He agrees but tells Emma that he would like to come back and stay the night.
When he leaves, Anna tells her granddaughter about what went down.
Isaiah and Portia Get Big News
At the hospital, Trina and Kai tell Portia and Isaiah who the other driver was. “It’s Brook Lynn Quartermaine,” Trina notes. Both Portia and Isaiah are stunned. Kai explains that Brook Lynn claimed she didn’t even know there was an accident, but Trina doesn’t believe that for a second.
Later, Trina tells Kai she is not moving forward with the music career. She thinks it was all just Brook Lynn’s guilt gifts. Because of that, she doesn’t want anything to do with her ever again.
Chase Runs to Willow
A heartbroken Chase goes to the gatehouse to speak with Willow. “I didn’t know where else to go,” he tells her, revealing that his entire world just fell apart. Willow lets him in as he explains that his wife was the other driver in Curtis and Jordan’s accident. Chase also drops another bombshell: his wife was the one who tried to frame Willow.
Willow is completely stunned. She and Brook Lynn haven’t always gotten along, but framing her is next-level. Chase admits he actually found out about the framing weeks ago. However, since she is his wife, he stayed quiet. He hopes Willow can forgive him for keeping the secret. Willow doesn’t blame him for standing by his wife. Chase guesses that Brook Lynn targeted Willow out of jealousy over how much time they were spending together. The whole ordeal leaves him wondering if he ever really knew his wife at all.
As Chase leaves, Hudson spots him exiting the gatehouse!
Joss is Suspicious of Hudson
Joss and Hudson clash while working together. She mentions her plans to run JJE remotely from home forever, but Hudson doesn’t get it. He can’t understand why she refuses to relocate to its longstanding headquarters.
Joss reminds him that Port Charles is her home and her family is there, but he thinks there’s more to it. He believes she just doesn’t want to leave the WSB. Joss insists this has nothing to do with the bureau, adding that she is in charge and the decision is hers to make. She also questions Hudson’s motives.
After pulling his files, she realized he has only been with the company for a couple of months. She asks if he has even met her father. She asks if he has even met her father. In fact, she wonders why he is so heavily invested in her father’s business.
Hudson tries to change the subject, and Joss catches on right away. Before they can dig further, a knock at the door interrupts them. It’s Britt. She immediately asks Joss to get rid of Hudson. Once he leaves, Britt demands to know where Brennan is. Joss offers to help her instead. To that end, Britt begs Joss to contact her WSB contacts and tell them to lock Anna up in a straightjacket—because Anna just tried to kill her.
Joss struggles to believe what Britt is saying. However, Britt insists she is speaking the truth. She even mentions that Jason was there to witness it.
Joss says she must talk to Jason first before she does anything. In the meantime, Britt can stay the night.
Gio Confronts His Mom
Ned finds Brook Lynn in tears on the stairs. She admits that she and Chase promised to be honest with each other, but she broke that promise by lying to him. Ned reminds her that she didn’t hide the truth out of a lack of love, noting that he has been in that exact position before.
Still, Brook Lynn worries she has lost her husband for good this time, insisting she only lied to protect her family. “But you didn’t do it alone. You had help from my mother,” Ned points out. Meanwhile, Brook Lynn insists that none of this is her grandmother’s fault.
Gio arrives, so Ned leaves him alone to talk with his mom. Brook Lynn invites Gio to sit down. Gio blames himself for the crash, thinking she didn’t stop that night because she was rushing to see him perform. Brook Lynn explains that isn’t what happened. She didn’t stop simply because she had no idea there was an accident. She begs him to believe her, but Phoebe starts crying in the other room and Brook Lynn has to step away. Before leaving, she begs Gio to stay.
