Molly Has Romantic Idea
In today’s episode of General Hospital, Molly tends to Cody, who has an injury on his hand. Cody believes the horse is suffering because he misses James. He mentions just how much the horse loves James, so he hopes they can find a good replacement horse in Australia.
Molly changes the topic and tells him she has a plan. In fact, she wants to do something romantic.
She reveals that her publicist has been on her case about a book event in Savannah. Originally, she wanted to pass on it, but she thinks they can turn it into a romantic adventure instead. He tells her to count him in. Ultimately, he agrees because she wrote a fantastic book and he could use a vacation.
Later, Molly tells Cody that she confirmed the details with her publicist and will be speaking on a panel. In fact, she even informs him that they are getting their own room.
Sonny Informs Justine He’s No Longer A Mob Boss
Meanwhile, Justine visits Sonny and fills him in on Jenz Sidwell. She wonders out loud if Sidwell will live long enough to serve his sentence. Sonny warns her that she is making assumptions. He insists he has no plans to take Sidwell out.
Even so, Justine warns him that going after Sidwell could ruin their relationship. Sonny reassures her that if anything happens to Sidwell, it won’t be by his hand. In fact, he informs her that he is now a full-time coffee importer and nothing more.
Justine is shocked that after decades of running Port Charles’ organized crime, he can just flip a switch and walk away. Ultimately, she warns him that his past will catch up with him, reminding him there is no statute of limitations on murder.
Justine reminds him that moving on comes with risks. No matter what he does, some people will always see him as a mob boss. He wonders if that includes her, asking if she would have a problem being seen with him in public.
Jason Tells Carly His Big News
Across town, Jason shocks Carly by revealing he stopped working for Sonny. He explains that spending time locked away gave him a chance to reflect on his life, so he decided to put his son first.
Naturally, Carly knows how tough that conversation with Sonny must have been, given Jason’s deep loyalty over the years. Jason then recalls how he once pressured Carly when she wanted out of Sonny’s world, and he apologizes for what that choice cost her.
Carly asks about his next steps. He admits he has no idea yet and is still trying to figure it all out. She invites him to come work with her at the Metro Court, and while he appreciates the offer, he turns her down. Carly then points him in a different direction, telling him there’s another family that could really use his help: The Quartermaines.
Jason is hesitant, but Carly tries to sway him. It is up to him to decide, but she believes the entire Quartermaine family would be happy to have him on board.
Drew Lays Down the Law
Elsewhere, Drew meets with Alexis, who gives her take on how he has acted since leaving his wheelchair. Drew recalls being brought to General Hospital for treatment and seeing his daughter in the ER. Alexis reminds him that kids have accidents, but Drew points the finger straight at Danny.
On top of that, he is furious that Alexis filled his daughter’s head with negative thoughts while he was incapacitated. Alexis insists she did no such thing, but Drew points out how much she hates him and questions why he should ever let her near his daughter again.
Brennan comes along and notes how things seem tense. Brennan advises him not to step on anyone’s toes. Drew says he is going to pick up his daughter from the pool and demands that Brennan does not follow him. After he leaves, Alexis asks Brennan if he cares to share what he has on Drew. “Well, that all depends on you,” he tells her.
Alexis wonders what he wants, assuming he is looking for dirt on Valentin. However, he notes that is not the case at all. Instead, he is actually interested in the work she did for Jasper Jacks Enterprises.
Danny Turns to Charlotte for Help
Charlotte and Danny meet up, and Danny opens up about what happened with Drew. Danny is hopeful that Drew will change his mind someday. He cannot help how he feels, so he refuses to give up on trying. Charlotte reminds him that Drew hates his dad, but Danny insists he cannot live without seeing his sister. Charlotte agrees with him. Because of this, she suggests that when Drew goes low, Danny should go lower.
Charlotte suggests Danny can back Drew into a corner to force his hand. She thinks they could make something up to use against Drew, but Danny points out that it would hurt Scout.
Scout Opens up to Rocco
At the same time, Rocco and Scout hang out at the Metro Court pool. Scout brings up the ongoing drama with her dad and Danny, admitting, “My life was so much easier when my dad was in a wheelchair.”
Rocco suggests a strategy to Scout. He tells her she can make her father think she is following his rules, and then she can just do whatever she wants.
Rocco suggests Scout make up an excuse to be alone so they can hang out in secret. Scout is on board with the plan, but then she gets a text from her dad saying he is on his way. Rocco tells her to get back into the pool and promises to text her later about meeting up.
Michael Has a Shocking Request for Tracy
Over at the Q estate, Tracy confronts Michael about the moving truck parked near the gate. Michael admits he wished he could have talked to her first, then drops the big news: he asked Willow to move back into the gatehouse, assuming he had her permission.
“Permission denied,” Tracy snaps. Even though Michael acknowledges it might be inconvenient, Tracy makes it clear she cannot stomach the idea of Willow living on the property. Still, Michael assures her that bringing Willow back was entirely his idea.
Michael explains that he wants Willow close so he can keep an eye on her. In fact, he has something on her that gives him full control. Even so, he still wants the kids to have a relationship with her. Tracy cannot understand his logic, since she believes Willow is a terrible human being. However, Michael notes that she is not a terrible mother. Finally, Tracy wonders if he has considered what this decision will do to Brook Lynn.
After some deliberating, Tracy tells Michael that Willow is not moving in. “Is that what my grandmother would do?” he fires back.
Tracy is stunned that Michael pulled the Monica card. Michael explains that while he knows it is a big ask, he is trying to save his family and cannot do it without her help. Reluctantly, Tracy agrees.
