General Hospital Spoilers April 17: A Familiar Face Returns and a Major Twist?

An alliance, a return, an intriguing offer, and more await in the next episode of General Hospital.

General Hospital spoilers for Friday, April 17, reveal that Kristina is caught off-guard, Willow confronts Jacinda, and more. Read on, let Soap Opera News break it down for you.

Ethan Returns

It’s getting more and more interesting as the days go by, and this episode is bringing a little bit of everything. We’re talking surprising moves, shocking moments, and a big return all packed into one.

Let’s start with that return because it’s a big one. Ethan Lovett is back in Port Charles this week. The last time we saw him, he was being played by James Ryan. At the time, the character was revealed to be held hostage by Victor Cassadine in Venezuela, where his mother, Holly Sutton, and Felicia Scorpio eventually found him.

Now, Nathan Dean is stepping back into the role, and it definitely feels like his return is going to shake things up in a major way. Hello, Lulu (Alexa Havins Bruening)!

At the same time, there’s growing tension around Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting. Michael (Rory Gibson) is starting to look at Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) a little more closely. The question is, is this just suspicion, or does he actually have proof? Spoilers tease that Kristina (Kate Mansi) is caught off guard and even questions him directly about whether he can prove Willow did it.

Confrontations and Big Moves

Speaking of Willow, she’s not exactly sitting back. The newly minted congresswoman decides to confront Jacinda (Paige Hershcell) head-on. She knows Jacinda is now involved with her ex, and she is clearly not happy about it.

So she shows up at Crimson, where Jacinda works, and lays it all out. From her point of view, Jacinda needs to stay the hell away from her kids moving forward.

Elsewhere, Nina (Cynthia Watros) is in for a shock. Could it be because she comes face-to-face with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) in her own living room? That part is still up in the air, but what we do know is that she’s about to receive an intriguing offer. And if it benefits her, there’s a good chance she’ll consider it.

On top of that, Laura (Genie Francis) proposes an alliance as things continue to escalate, and Carly (Laura Wright) pulls Lucas (Van Hansis) aside with a warning.

All in all, this is one of those episodes where everything feels like it’s building at once.
