Drew Offers an Olive Branch
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has been making his way around town… either stirring the pot, causing trouble, aiming for revenge, plotting, scheming, or calling some form of truce. The latter of which he finds himself doing in Friday’s episode.
As spoilers put it, Drew offers an olive branch. But who is on the receiving end? Let’s remember Drew has far more enemies (or better yet, people who hate his guts) than he does friends around town, making this peace offering a massive question mark!
Sonny’s Pentonville Power Move!
Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) knows that Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has been sentenced to serve time in Pentonville. That means his assets are up for grabs, and Sonny wants to get them before anyone else can. Of course, he knows he has heavy competition around town, with guys like Drew and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) waiting in the wings.
Sonny pays a surprise visit to see Sidwell in prison. As he arrives, Sidwell acts like it was only a matter of time before the mob kingpin showed up. Naturally, Sonny jokes about beige not being Sidwell’s color before getting down to the real matter at hand. We can bet he’s there to talk about those assets and try to win at all costs!
Corporate Shifts and Family Favors
Elsewhere in Port Charles, Jordan (Tanisha Harper) has stepped into her new role as the CEO of Aurora. She might be feeling the pressure of taking the reins, but someone steps up to give her a well-deserved vote of confidence.
General Hospital spoilers for August 21 also tease that Ava (Maura West) reassures Portia (Brook Kerr), while Laura (Genie Francis) makes a special request of Rocco (Finn Carr).
Who do you think is on the receiving end of Drew’s olive branch, and will Sonny manage to secure Sidwell’s assets? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
