Sonny (Maurice Benard) is now focusing his attention on Dex (Evan Hofer). With a firm belief that a member of his organization is conspiring against him, and even worse, attempting to harm him, Sonny becomes extremely vigilant when presented with compelling evidence by Brick (Stephen A. Smith), suggesting that Dex is the culprit. Brick provides Sonny with information indicating that Dex is being bankrolled, leading Sonny to become highly suspicious of his employee and demanding to see him. Can Dex extricate himself from this precarious situation?

Elsewhere, Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) have come to a pivotal decision. Despite this, Laura emphasizes to Kevin that the decision at hand is not solely hers to make. Meanwhile, Trina (Tabyana Ali) continues to grapple with the profound loss of her beloved Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). She wrestles with her grief and confides in Ava (Maura West), that she cannot live with this feeling.
Unfortunately, Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) devised plan is discovered by Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison). Drew warns her that she is playing with fire.
