The latest episode delivered a surprise no one saw coming. Two duos shared their first kiss, and both moments come with very different kinds of fallout. Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) kissed, while Lulu (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) kiss is already far more complicated.

Since waking up from her coma, romance has been the last thing on Lulu’s mind. The same goes for Nathan after his shocking return from the dead.

But when the two find themselves stranded together during a blizzard, sparks definitely fly. Sometimes it takes being snowed in for hidden emotions to come out, and once that kiss happens, there is no pretending it did not.

Now Lulu is worried about one person in particular, her best friend Maxie (Kirsten Storms). Knowing Maxie was married to Nathan, Lulu cannot shake the fear that when Maxie wakes up from her coma, she will be furious if she finds out Lulu has feelings for him. That fear may not be misplaced, but for now, all Lulu can do is wait.

Britt Tells Jason the Truth

Meanwhile, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) finally opens up to Jason (Steve Burton). He was relentless, but it worked. Britt reaches a point where she trusts him enough to tell the truth about what is really going on in her life.

What remains unclear is whether she tells Jason who is forcing her to complete her father’s latest project. According to spoilers, Jason starts connecting the dots. Will he figure out exactly who is behind this master plan?

Trina Says No Trust

Elsewhere, Portia (Brook Kerr) continues trying to make things right with Trina (Tabyana Ali). After their emotional heart-to-heart, you might expect some healing, but that does not happen.

Portia is rebuffed, and Trina admits that the trust between them is already gone. Whether it can ever be repaired remains to be seen.

Also coming up on GH, January 30, Carly (Laura Wright) makes an offer, Rocco’s (Finn Carr) Feelings are hurt, and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) finds himself wondering about Joss (Eden McCoy).
