Welcome Back, Serena: Kelly Kruger Takes the Reins
It’s been way too long since Serena Baldwin was in Port Charles, but she’s officially back on the canvas today! Soap vet Kelly Kruger is taking over the legacy role, and her sudden return raises a ton of immediate questions… at least for us. Like, what actually brings her back right now?
Of course, a happy reunion with Lucy (Lynn Herring) is definitely at the top of the list, and let’s not forget… she still needs to meet her half-brother, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Plus, will she get pulled into the Deception madness? That’s always a possibility. Once she settles in, it’ll be fun to see which local guy ends up catching her eye (and we have an idea of a few who should).
Jason and Anna Share a Moment
Meanwhile, Jason (Steve Burton) and Anna (Finola Hughes) finally reconnect! Both of them have been put through the wringer lately, so this moment together hits differently. Jason was hauled out of town by the WSB while Anna had her own dealings down a terrible path thanks to WSB director Ross Cullum (who’s now dead).
Now they are both back in town, and Jason has been making the rounds. He’s been checking in on the people he loves since getting back. Anna has also been catching up with a few people as well while settling back into her old job. Their shared history makes this a really important moment for both of them.
Quartermaine Feuds & Shocking Arrivals
Other GH spoilers for July 30 tease that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is about to get blindsided. Could this be because of Drew (Cameron Mathison)? He’s back and ready to reclaim his life, which is bound to upset a few people—including Tracy. We all know how she feels about him despite him being family.
Elsewhere, Ethan (Christian Howard) gets hit with a huge shock today. What could it be? Could it have anything to do with the latest returnee, Serena Baldwin, or maybe someone from his past? Time will tell.
Setting Boundaries: Tristan Plays Hardball
Last but certainly not least, Tristan (Dean Geyer) draws a firm line. Tristan is putting his foot down and refusing to budge on a hard boundary. Could this have to do with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud)? They’ve already had a couple of tense run-ins around town, so seeing him play hardball with her wouldn’t be a surprise.
