Sonny Challenges Justine
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is facing the heat for something he didn’t do! His own men went against him, and now he’s caught in a massive trap. No matter how much he claims he’s innocent, some people in Port Charles just aren’t buying it. We can chalk that right up to his decades in the mob. Sonny said he was leaving the mob business behind—and clearly he did—but that history isn’t just going to vanish overnight.
Despite claiming he had nothing to do with the attack in Pentonville, the accusations are piling up fast. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) named him, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) did too, and even Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is starting to believe the story. Now, Justine (Nazneen Contractor) has plenty of questions of her own.
As the ADA—and Sonny’s girlfriend—she’s trying her hardest to see the good in him. She isn’t about to take circumstantial evidence over his word without a fight, which is why she confronts him directly. She begs him to tell her he isn’t responsible for the attack, and just like he did with everyone else, Sonny insists he’s being set up.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Sonny challenges Justine during their confrontation. In the preview for Monday, he hits her with a hard reminder: what happened to innocent until proven guilty?
Josslyn Takes Matters Into Her Own Hands
Meanwhile, Sonny better watch his back, because WSB Agent Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is coming for him! She heard about what went down, and in case you forgot, taking down guys like Sonny Corinthos is the exact reason she joined the bureau in the first place. Now that his name is tied to the prison attack, Josslyn is taking matters into her own hands. She promised Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that she would make Sonny pay no matter what. Has that time finally come?
Brook Lynn and Chase Are Ready for Battle
Elsewhere, General Hospital spoilers for October 5 tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) discuss matters of the heart—including second chances and how nobody is just going to hand them to you.
Things are also heating up between Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), and definitely not in a good way! Chase reports back to his lawyer, Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard), announcing he’s ready to make a major move. “After the fight that Brook Lynn and I had today, I’m sure of it,” he declares. As for Brook Lynn, she tells her grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), that she is ready to do whatever it takes to keep her daughter with her.
Plus, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) gets taken to task, while Serena (Kelly Kruger) finds herself in a tight bind. Look for her to deliver a crucial message to Mr. Morgan!
