Carly Supports Sonny
It is no secret that hardly anyone believes Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) when he is named as the mastermind behind the vicious attack on Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Curtis Ashford (Maurice Benard). And really, can you blame them? Sonny has a long, checkered past when it comes to his mob dealings. Yes, he insists he has officially stepped away from that life—and he is telling the truth! But based on how everyone is reacting, he might as well not have retired at all.
Still, amid all the people refusing to believe he is innocent, there are a select few who know when Sonny is lying and when he’s being genuine. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) probably tops that list! Why? Because she was married to the man for years.
She knows the ins and outs, and the ups and downs of how he operates. So when spoilers indicate that Carly steps up to support Sonny, we aren’t exactly surprised! Carly may not want any part of that mob life, but Sonny is the father of her children, and a little loyalty goes a long way—especially now, when his own son and his own girlfriend can’t see that he is clearly being framed!

Lulu went right ahead and ran with it, dropping a game-changing story!
