Spoilers reveal that she steps in to offer a lifeline right when someone needs it most. Whether she’s stepping up with medical help at the hospital or offering a much-needed reality check—Britt style—her intervention couldn’t come at a better moment. Whoever is on the receiving end is definitely going to need all the support they can get right now.
Anna Offers Her Expertise
Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is never one to stay on the sidelines—especially when a major situation threatens to throw the whole town off balance. With her extensive WSB background and sharp instincts, she’s usually the first to spot the details everyone else misses.
On top of that, she’s served as the police commissioner. So, yeah, you get the point. Anna has years of experience. Who needs her expertise?
Sonny Reassures Gio
Across town, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is still caught right in the middle of a storm. Despite Carly (Laura Wright) stepping up to back him and insisting he’s left his mob past behind, half the town still thinks he’s the mastermind behind the recent attack. But even with all that pressure piling on his shoulders, Sonny makes it a priority to sit down with Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and offer him some reassurance.
What Sonny doesn’t know yet is that Gio is planning to pack up and leave his granddad’s place to move in with his girlfriend! Gio has been deeply struggling with how to break the news to Sonny—especially with everything already going on—making this heart-to-heart all the more complicated.
Portia Makes Her Loyalties Clear
Elsewhere, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) isn’t hiding how she feels anymore. We are finally seeing her step back into the picture now that Curtis (Donnell Turner) was attacked in prison. And you can bet she’s ready to react.
Portia makes her loyalties known loud and clear. Meanwhile, General Hospital spoilers for October 9 confirm that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is doing everything he can to get to the bottom of who actually set up the attack, but his investigation runs straight into a wall. Just when he thinks he’s getting closer to a real lead that could blow the case wide open, a major snag shuts down his progress.
