General Hospital spoilers for September 17 reveal that Nina is in serious trouble as Jack Brennan’s disappearance investigation takes a shocking turn. Nina is now the main suspect, and things are looking especially bad after Brennan’s wallet is found in her car. Meanwhile, Sonny starts digging for answers, Ava confronts Drew, and several other Port Charles residents have plenty going on.

Nina Cracks Under Pressure
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is on the wrong side of the law after Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) sets her up as the main suspect in Jack Brennan’s disappearance.
Of course, Nina has no idea that Drew is behind all of this.
Drew planted Brennan’s wallet in her car specifically to make Nina look guilty. And unfortunately for Nina, the setup is working. There is also the fact that Nina and Brennan were seen together publicly before he disappeared. Nina even threatened him, and there were several witnesses around to hear it.
So, yeah — from the outside, it really doesn’t look good. Now Nina is arrested and under serious pressure. And that pressure finally gets to her. Nina cracks.
But what does she say once she reaches that breaking point? Does she accidentally make herself look even guiltier, or could it be the total opposite? She was set up. The problem is proving it.
Sonny Goes Looking for Answers
While Nina is dealing with the fallout, Sonny (Maurice Benard) isn’t sitting around doing nothing. He wants to know what is really going on, and he turns to Justine (Nazneen Contractor) for information.
Justine is the ADA, so Sonny figures she has to know something about the investigation. And she probably does. But there is one major problem — the WSB is involved.
That could make things a whole lot more complicated for Justine. Even if she knows what is happening, there may be limits to what she can actually tell Sonny. Still, Sonny is trying to be there for Nina.
Whatever information Justine can give him could help him understand what Nina is up against and maybe give him an idea of what he can do to help her. And knowing Sonny, he isn’t going to stop asking questions.
Ava Confronts Drew
Meanwhile, Ava (Maura West) has had enough. Of Drew, at least! She knows Drew is the one who set Nina up, and she is not exactly thrilled about it.
Remember, Ava helped Drew get rid of Brennan’s body. She knew they were involved in something very serious, but she never expected Drew to turn around and make Nina take the fall for it. That changes things.
Ava helped Drew, but she never agreed to Nina being framed. Now Ava confronts Drew, and there is definitely going to be some tension between them.
The last thing Ava wants is for Nina to discover the truth! If Nina finds that out, their friendship could be over. And Ava knows it.
So, what exactly does she say to Drew? Is she demanding that he fix this mess, or is she more worried about making sure Nina never finds out what they really did? Either way, Drew has some explaining to do.
Carly Meets With Josslyn
GH spoilers for September 17 also tease that Carly (Laura Wright) meets with Josslyn (Eden McCoy).
The two have plenty they could talk about, especially with everything going on around them.
Meanwhile, Trina (Tabyana Ali) finally visits Curtis (Donnell Turner) at Pentonville. And these two definitely have something to talk about.
Trina was the one who discovered that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was the other driver involved in that car situation that night. Now she has a chance to talk to her dad about what she found out.
And then there is Jordan (Tanisha Harper).
If Jordan has something on her mind, she is going to say it.
She doesn’t exactly have a problem speaking her mind, and the September 17 spoilers tease that she isn’t going to mince words.
