Dante Learns the Truth About Sonny
When Dante (Dominic Zamprogna)—who has once again taken the reins as Police Commissioner at the PCPD—learned about the attack at Pentonville, he immediately got a sneaking suspicion that his dad might not be so squeaky clean after all.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) recently claimed that Jason (Steve Burton) quit the mob business and that he was following suit, but this new development definitely makes you wonder! Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was beaten within an inch of his life, and so was Curtis (Donnell Turner). Of course, Curtis wasn’t part of the initial plan, but being the man he is, he couldn’t just stand by and watch those guys beat Sidwell to death—so he got his share of the beatdown too!
Now, Dante’s suspicions are about to become concrete facts. He’s going to get solid answers confirming that it was indeed Sonny who ordered those men to attack Sidwell and send a loud-and-clear message. If that’s the case, will Dante be tasked with arresting his own father? But is Sonny really guilty? Dante and Sonny don’t have the greatest history, but they’ve managed to move past it and build a real father-son bond. Is this brutal new twist about to mess with that dynamic?
Jason Supports Danny
As for Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), look for him to get some much-needed support after receiving some bad news from Rocco (Finn Carr). To make matters worse, Danny is likely about to learn that Charlotte’s (Bluesy Burke) parents are shipping her off to boarding school—meaning they’ll be miles apart! That is definitely not great news considering how close the two have become lately.
Monet Goes After Another Client
Meanwhile, Monet (Blythe Howard) may be new in town, but she is certainly making a name for herself! She’s already landed a gig at Miller & Davis, scored Chase (Josh Swickard) as a client, and just went toe-to-toe with one of the absolute strongest, most powerful women in Port Charles: Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot)!
Right after that showdown, we learned she’s actually Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper) little sister, and there are clearly some major unresolved issues between them. As Monet settles into town and her new job, she’s about to court another new client. Who could it be?
