The latest General Hospital promo for May 5 is packed with high-stakes confrontations and a few jaw-dropping suggestions.
Sonny Meets with Ethan
First up, Ethan Lovett is clearly trying to make himself indispensable to Sonny, but it seems the mob boss isn’t making it easy. During their latest meeting to discuss the intel Ethan brought, Sonny delivers a blunt reality check. “There’s only one problem,” Sonny warns. “You.” It looks like Ethan has a long way to go before he truly earns a seat at the table without suspicions.
While that is happening, Ric Lansing is busy making a play for Elizabeth’s heart. Catching her at the hospital, he cuts right to the chase with a romantic proposition: “Do you want to go away with me for the weekend?” It’s a bold move, but with everything Liz has on her plate, a getaway might be exactly what she needs—or the last thing she has time for.
Bombshells in the Mayor’s Office
Things are getting incredibly uncomfortable over at City Hall. Mayor Laura Collins finds herself in a tense exchange with ADA Justine Turner. Justine doesn’t mince words, asking Laura point-blank, “Are you asking me to bury this?” The look of pure shock on Laura’s face says it all.
Meanwhile, Curtis is ready to blow the lid off the accident investigation. As Jordan laments that they still don’t know who was behind the wheel of the other car, Curtis drops the hammer. “I think I found him,” he reveals. He’s convinced it’s Isaiah, but the real question is whether Jordan will take his word for it.
Tracy’s Tough Love
The most shocking moment of the preview, however, comes from the Quartermaine mansion. Tracy is known for her bluntness, but she takes it to a new level while talking to Brook Lynn. As they discuss the guilt surrounding the crash, Tracy gives her granddaughter some harrowing advice: “You turn yourself in.” Is Tracy really suggesting that Brook Lynn hand herself over to the police, or is there more to this “confession” than meets the eye?
